went in for the cupping session and it was awesome! the barista Bryce is very welcoming and knowledgeable, we had a good time trying different coffees and yapping. def recommend for anyone who enjoys coffee 🤎

Great coffee shop on Sydney Road. Variety of blends and options. Coffee made expertly and with care - tasted nice, good atmosphere and felt comfortable to catch up on some emails! Ethical, recyclers - bring your keep cup!

I come here often, it's open later than most cafes which makes it a great option for students. Their milk based coffees are on the more mellow side and are pretty easy to drink and why I end up coming back so often. Their pour-over is a little pricey and while their setup is really nice and streamlined, the barista looked like they absolutely hate their job and put me off re-ordering it so I end up sticking with their milk-based drinks from the other baristas. Their seating is also a bit to be desired, not bad, but not good. I think it makes for a nicer atmosphere for those passing through but ends up being a bit inconvenient to stay in and makes me feel a bit guilty for staying longer than average when I read or study.

Beautiful quiet spot to enjoy coffee on a busy, noisy Sydney road. Coffee is as expected, excellent.

I came in this afternoon for a simple "coffee" (hot chocolate) and sweet before an interview. I can say with absolute certainty that this is the most pretentious, arrogant, uppity, coffee snob cafe I have ever visited. There was an air of superiority and unwelcomeness that immediately made me feel like I wasn't worth *their* time. I was somewhat prepared for the drink to be expensive. However, for a one-size 10 ounce cup, I was shocked to be paying $7.50! The total with my peach danish came to $17! Things went from not great to worse when I attempted to taste the danish. It was SO stale, I could barely get my teeth in for a good sized bite. I had two more attempted nibbles, thinking it might be softer closer to the center, it was not. In addition to that, the water tasted like vodka??? It wasn't sparkling, it wasn't still, it wasn't even lemon water. I was happy to try and replace the danish for something else of the same value before asking for a refund - as I know servers are generally reluctant to process refunds - but the replacement plum danish was just as stale! I could not even cut through it with my knife. I received the refund for my food and left. The only okay aspect of my visit was my drink, and I'd give it a 4/10. Just disappointing.

I always have such a great experience in store when shopping for beans for home. The staff really go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your home brew. The atmosphere in store is welcoming and such a great strip of Sydney Rd to sit and watch the world go buy. Thank you x

This place is always a hit and miss with coffee. Considering they only serve coffee, they should be masters of it but they are never consistent. It frustrates me the quality of coffee being served up is no better than an average gloria jeans coffee which is horrible in many peoples books. One flat white, one short black, both way below average quality taste is priced over $12. What a waste of my money and my time again. Once upon a time Market Lane coffee near Vic Market set standards of great coffee, now you barely keep up with your overpriced average coffee places like Starbucks or gloria jeans. No more kindness, places who over charge and serve rubbish coffee must be called out
