Our go to KBBQ place that isn't in ktown north. Good food, good staff, good good good. Gets bumpin after 7pm and is closed on Tuesdays. But is always worth the wait if there is one

Went here with my friend on a Friday night, and wait for two people to be seated was less than 10 minutes. It was our first time trying this place out and we had an amazing time here. The staff were very nice and our food arrived not long after we ordered. Very yummy!

Google
Mapo korean bbq has become our absolute go to spot. We come all the time, and it never disappoints. The meats are tender, juicy, our favourite spicy chicken bibimbab is a must here. The side dishes are full of flavor and could refill anytime. The staff always makes us feel welcome, very friendly and nice😋🥰

Google
The service at this Korean barbecue spot was fantastic. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our dining experience a true pleasure. The food quality was top-notch—the meat was fresh and flavorful, and all the banchan were delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Korean barbecue close by Christie Pits park! 🏀 🥽 ⚾

The interior is very beautiful, the food are delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoy my first time here. Will be back again.

Google
The place is awesome, the food is great and price-wise you really get what you’re paying for. On a separate note, there’s a gentleman here who goes by Daniel and happens to be an absolute gem of a human being. He provides warm and PROACTIVE service and truly cares about his customers. I accidentally dropped one of my chopsticks (I’m a total klutz) and he noticed from the other side of the restaurant and brought me a new pair in a matter of seconds. FIRST FREAKING CLASS!!!

Google
We enjoyed our Korean BBQ here. The quality of the meat was good, portions were generous, and tasty. Nice place to eat with family and friends.

Jiashan L.

Google
We had such a great experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant. The meat was fresh, high quality, and perfectly marinated, and the portion sizes were very generous. The side dishes were plentiful and well-balanced, with lots of variety. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was cooked just right and that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect for both friends and family gatherings. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Korean BBQ!

Google
First time trying, will be coming again! The customer service and quality of the meat was great. My family and I had a great time, and the atmosphere made the food more enjoyable.

Yelp
I ordered the following three BBQ beef cuts plus a side of rice: 1. Top beef rib meat 3/5 - the meat is unmarinated so you can use the two dips oil and soybean. I have to say tastewise, I prefer the dip at Daldongnae. 2. Marinated beef short rib 3.5/5 - there was quite a lot of fat on the short ribs but otherwise good 3. Beef bulgogi 2/5 - I didn't like this one so much as the cut was similar to beef slice used in hot pot Bbq meats come with a side of stew. We picked soybean pork stew which was on the saltier side but otherwise good. Service was very attentive. They come by and help you to cook your meat to the right doneness. Side dishes were good.
google avatar

Sherrona T.

Yelp
First and foremost the service here is amazing! The servers assist with cooking your food and they are very quick! We got both a cut of pork and beef. Both were super delicious (but I liked the pork belly the best). Love the look of the restaurant it's like you went back in time!
google avatar

Yelp
Good quality meats and good ambiance! I came here with a friend for dinner and we had a great time! The interior of the restaurant is cozy and decorated in a very fun, Korean way. The service was very nice, friendly, and attentive. Would come back!

Yelp
It's very decent Korean BBQ, I didn't go for the combo just three individual orders, it comes with a choice of soup, the soup portion is not very big. Good for a side snack. The BBQ plate comes with egg and corn, so you can eat while waiting for the meat (when it's cooked) the honeycomb pork belly is great. Need to dip since there's no flavor so does the ribeye. The ribeye side is pretty big. It's hot sizzled and torched so it's still pretty rare when it's served. If you want to be more cooked just leave it on the plate for a bit longer the heat will cook them. The bulgogi is well marinated. Thin sliced but very big portion tho. The good thing is that the server help with the cooking, there were time to time our plate was empty but hey were nowhere to be found, when they are on lunch break. The whole place is separated by stalls with Korean theme, really cute

Yelp
Mapo is one of the popular local spots to get KBBQ (non-AYCE). Located in Koreatown nearby Christie station making it a convenient spot if you're taking the public transit. Walking in the restaurant's decor has nice artwork around the seating booths and intimate seating areas. Combo C: We got the marinated combo which had the perfect amount of meats and had a nice marinate. The side dishes were decent and came with a small side soup (chose the spicy tofu). The sauces that came with the meats were a good compliment as well. Tteokbokki: A pretty standard tteokbokki - wasn't bad but wasn't the best I've had. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this again but it was a decent appetizer with the meal. I had a great time at Mapo and certainly see why there's a huge hype on this place. The staff were attentive and cooks the food for you. A perfect place especially if you're not as familiar with KBBQ.
google avatar

Jimmy T.

Yelp
Food was delicious here. Service was good. The staff does come by to help you with cooking. I think our favourite was the marinated pork ribs those were so good. They have house made Soju cocktails which was delicious too. Price is fair but would cost more than AYCE. Very easy to spend $50 per person here

Yelp
This place is a BBQ funhouse. Loud and packed it was a little overwhelming at first but once we got into the groove and just let it happen, it all made sense. The staff were great. The guy who served us was a real showman (he should probably try showbiz after this), which added to the experience. Talent and charm aside, he helped us navigate the menu and choose a BBQ package that gave us a selection of meats to sample. After it all gets going, the various staff are always circulating, dipping in, putting the meats on the grill, working those meat scissors, and really taking care of you. The sides are manyfold and you can ask for re-ups whenever you want. Don't be shy! All in all a fun visit - be prepared to be in a party atmosphere. I suggest submitting fully to the party flow. The next visit we would probably choose some more targeted meats instead of the sampler and just go for the ones we liked best. We now have the knowledge. Would also get beer and soju (we only had soju this time) because they go together so very well.

Daniel D.

Yelp
we got the raw meat combo ($115), pork bellies and brisket were good, steak and pork neck ok. loved the radish and mac salad side dishes.

Rabea T.

Yelp
The meat was completely unseasoned and chewy. Everything else was nice. Service and extras were great.
google avatar

Nana T.

Yelp
Really nice visit good service and they give you yogurt drinks after you pay! The honey comb pork belly was the best and the side dishes are really good!
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
This is another great KBBQ restaurants that I have been to. Very similar to Daldongnae Korean restaurant, but Mapo offers more variety. The "refillable" side dishes are a bonus. Waiters are friendly and helpful. They helped us with the cooking. The price was reasonable, it cost us $65 for 2 meat orders, and cold noodles. Would definitely go back!!
google avatar

Jeslyn X.

Yelp
I like the way they decorated the place, like a mini food street with all vendor banners. They have grill tables and the best part is that the staff will cook for you. The place is pretty bustling and you need to yell in the conversations. The marinated beef ribs were the best. The steak was hard to chew though. Reminder - double check your bill to see if they included the tips already. We went to pay and entered the tip %, only found out afterwards that it was already included in the bill. Food (quality, presentation) - 4/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5 Ambience (interior, cleanness) - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Value - 3/5
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
This is a Korean BBQ place in Ktown. I would rate this as average (3.5/5.0). In my opinion, I think Daldongnae is a better experience and more value. Mapo is probably a better option if you want foods other than BBQ as the menu here is larger, and/or value higher quality meats. Pros: + Meats are good quality. + Dishes (only tried the cold noodles) are good tasting. + Seating is spacious, interior is nice. + 10% cash discount. Cons: - Meats are pretty small portion for what you pay. - Side dishes are pretty subpar in my opinion. - Service is subpar. The servers kept coming and fiddling with our stove (like 10+ times). Also different servers would come (and do the exact same thing) and there was no coordination between them. - Doesn't take AMEX.

Yelp
Taste: 4/5 This KBBQ place offers a good variety of meat and other BBQ items. You can ask for refills of "panchan" side dishes as if you were in Korea. Bonus: enjoy free yakults after the meal. Cost: about $30 per person (we had 3 meat items + 1 tofu soup + 1 glass noodles). It came with an average portion. Vibe: 5/5 It's a cozy gathering place. I loved how they decorated the place like a retro Korean neighbourhood. Great photo op!! Service: 4/5 The servers would help you grill the meat if you wanted to.

Yelp
I don't have a ton of experience with Korean barbecue, so I was more than happy to tag along on a trip to Mapo Korean BBQ. We showed up after 6:00 on a recent Thursday and the place was packed, but we did manage to snag the last free table. We ordered a bunch of different proteins, including Beef Bulgogi, Thin Cut Pork Belly, and Beef Short Ribs. And just in case that doesn't sound like enough food, we also got a Seafood Pancake to share. Everything was really, really tasty. The various proteins were cooked at the table by several different servers, and I enjoyed the heck out of all of it. And the small supporting courses enhanced the meal considerably, with the spicy side soup one of my favorites. The Seafood Pancake, though not necessary, was delicious as well. Service was top-notch and the busy, frenetic vibe in the restaurant was super fun. The one negative I will say is that it would be nice if they had some Korean/Asian beers on offer. I spent the evening drinking Budweiser, which is fine but the experience would've been enhanced with more authentic beverages. I'll definitely be returning to Mapo Korean BBQ someday, hopefully soon.

Yelp
Love coming here for Korean bbq! The restaurant was busy when we came but we were still able to get seated right away. You scan a QR code on the table to get the menu. For bbq we ordered honey comb pork belly, brisket, beef short ribs, and pork jowl. If you're doing bbq there's a minimum order of 2 meats. The bbq comes with a choice of spicy tofu or spicy soybean soup. It also came with multiple sides including kimchi, soybeans, lettuce, corn cheese, and steamed egg. The staff was really good at refilling our side of lettuce whenever we ran out. We also ordered Tteok-bokki (spicy rice cakes). The staff was great during our time there. They occasionally checked on our meats while they were cooking. We also had our grill changed a couple of times. When we went their card machine was broken so they were only accepting cash. There's an ATM at the front of the restaurant with a $0.95 fee. They also gave us 10% off our bill for paying in cash. Would definitely recommend coming here for Korean bbq!

Yelp
I've been here twice now and it is definitely one of my favourite Korean BBQ spots! I love the atmosphere and authenticity. The portions are a good size per meat order and my partner and I were full off 2 meat choices (min 2 order for KBBQ). We were contemplating on a third but we were glad we only picked two. We got pretty fully off the side dishes and soup that came with our KBBQ meal. Side dishes are free refills which was lovely because I love the Korean bean sprouts! Not sure if they do refills here for the cheese corn and steamed egg like Daldongnae because we were too full so never asked for refill. For the soup, you get a choice of pork soybean stew or pork spicy tofu stew and it was a nice addition to the meal. The KBBQ also comes with free lettuce as well but rice is at extra cost. For meats, we ordered the pork belly and beef short ribs - both were great options if you are unsure which meat cuts to order. They were flavourful and the dipping seasoning and Ssamjang that they provide you with compliments the meat nicely. Service here was amazing, the staff are very attentive and friendly. They have multiple servers working together as a team to help customers cook their meat, clean tables and bring out food. We barely had to cook for ourselves like at other KBBQ restaurants - the staff here basically cooked everything for us. The line up to be seated during peak times can get quite long so expect a wait during busy rush hours (we waited 45 minutes for our table). Cash payments - you'll receive 10% off your bill so bring cash! If not, they also have an ATM machine. At the end of your meal, the also give you Yakult drink too :)

Yelp
I can't believe I have never been here. I'm so glad to have experienced amazing Korean bbq with amazing staff. From the side dishes to the grilled meats. Everything tasted wonderful! I'm totally coming back.
google avatar

Andrew P.

Yelp
Service was excellent and glad they are open pretty late. I found the meat quality to be decent, but I think the Soju bottles here are overpriced. $20 for a bottle? Many of the KBBQ places I go to where I'm from charge between $12-16. I was a little disappointed they didn't carry chili paste, but other than that it was a good environment and had friendly service. I guess I would return!
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
Caught up with a friend over the beef bulgogi, chicken thighs and, of course, unlimited sides although rice was not included in that. All the meat was exceptionally seasoned, and the servers didn't leave you fully to your own devices and would come check on the meat every minute or two and let us know when it was ready. Definitely a visual savoir-faire with the way it's laid out and displayed as little vendors. The staff was quick, witty, and helpful. Also you get 10% off your meal if you pay in cash. Nothing overly great, typical Korean BBQ food, but it's such an experience, will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Came here at 1:30am Sunday and so glad they were still open and still serving bbq at that time! Ordered the beef, pork belly and pineapple sojuuu cocktail. Service was good, and the food was good. Loved the selections here and their side dishes except the spicy bean sprouts on the bbq tray was salty. Price wise I think it's a little expensive but it was still good. We were one of the last 2 groups there and they were nice and didn't rush us out when it was close to 3am ( they close at 3am).
google avatar

Yelp
Real yummy! Love it! Went last night finally! Was craving for BBQ for more than a week already! Finally had really happy dinner last night! Their meat is quite good! I really enjoyed the pork belly as ALWAYS! Although super fat! Haha normally the waiting time would be 1-2 hours right now. Due to its patio BBQ, but supper cool coz then we don't have to stay in a closed-area to continue breath in all the smokes! Very pleasant experience with them last night! Hope to go there again soon!!!

Yelp
I just can't get enough of Korean bbq. This place does it especially well. It definitely on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it. The service was good. They were quick and efficient. The restaurant is very cute and clean. I'll definitely come again!
google avatar

Stella J.

Yelp
Mapo KBBQ is conveniently located at Christie Station (which is also Korean Town in downtown). For bbq, you have to order 2 sets of meat. We ordered pork belly and LA galbi. The pork belly was good but the galbi was great. I recommended ordering the marinated pork and marinated beef (bulgogi or galbi). The bbq comes with soup (spicy tofu or doenjang), lots of side dishes, and some lettuce to wrap the meat. The atmosphere is lively with kpop songs played (very loud) and the servers are super attentive and nice. We will definitely be back to satisfy our kbbq craving!
google avatar

Riley p.

Yelp
Great place if you're looking for classic korean bbq with quick, sometimes too quick, service. The meat was good quality but i would recommend getting pork instead of beef as around 40% of our meat was just the chewy bits lol. I also loved how our meal came with complimentary cheese corn, egg and your choice of either spicy tofu stew (amazingggg btw) or kimchi stew. Along with that it came with the typical kbbq side dishes, but we constantly needed refills which they were glad to help us with! The interior decoration was amazing really felt like i was on a street in korea eating kbbq (or how i imagine it would feel lol). Overall a good restaurant and worth a pop in!
google avatar

Ryan G.

Yelp
Food was very good, ambiance was excellent and the service was mostly great... the server even flipped our meat a couple of times, and even more surprisingly cut some for us. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in town that wants to try some authentic Korean food.
google avatar

Tiffany O.

Yelp
My favourite Korean bbq downtown. The waitlist can be long but it's so delicious here and I much prefer this place compared to dalgonae just down the street... so I'll always wait or eat something else completely different! The meats here are so flavourful and even my Korean friends love this place. It's so cute inside too. Looks like little stands in a market and the music is fun. Love that they give you yakult in the end.

Tanya B.

Yelp
Service - Called to make a reservation and was told they were all booked and the receiver slammed down on me. Poor shameful customer service...they didn't even offer an alternative date. I will never spend money at this establishment. Food - not interested in finding out Ambiance- irrelevant I'd give it a zero
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
Korean BBQ is best served with mul naengmyun (cold noodles) the buckwheat noodles are chewy and served in a soup that's cold and tangy with a hint of spice. It was the saving grace of the meal The meats were decent quality but the portions were small. The side dishes (banchan) were not memorable. Even though I like the service, the servers were also coming by too often, like every few minutes to check if the meat was cooked. So something could have just been flipped but another person would come back and flip it right over again.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun here. The staff are really nice and helpful, this was our first time at this type of restaurant and we needed some guidance to get started. Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for more of the bits that come in the little bowls along with your meat items.
google avatar

Dash H.

Yelp
Delicious flavors, the service was a bit rush... we felt like we waited forever for a table since they were very busy and popular which was a good sign. But as soon as we walked in, i can tell they have been busy all day by the oily ass floor, its slippery so be careful. We ordered our meat, got only 1 complimentary bowl of soup, which is odd... its usually 2 beef entree u should get 2 soups but whatever. They helped us grill our meat. Nonstop service from them for more ban chan. They were a bit stingy on the kimchi we had to keep bothering them and ask for more kimchi more jalapenos and more lettuce , bout 15 times They insisted on that tho instead of giving us a bigger plate of kimchi like we asked haha . Overall the flavors and service was good, 4/5 stars from me. They need to work on being quicker to seat ppl but dont make ppl feel so rushed to eat.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
I'm sad to say the meat just wasn't very good. It wasn't seasoned at all. It looked fine, but the texture was so chewy no matter how long or how little it was cooked. Kind of disappointing actually. The tofu soup wasn't very interesting. Banchan were good. Nice variety. The corn and cheese didn't melt well and it was really sweet. The egg took forever to cook. The best thing about dinner was probably the savoury pancake we got. It was so crispy! The service was decent too so I could at least give this place 2 stars.
google avatar

Noha Y.

Yelp
We tried this place for a late dinner yesterday and I must say we will be coming back. Though it is a bit more pricey than our usual k-bbq place, the food and the service were well worth the premium. We ordered two bulgogis for the bbq along with rice and lettuce (we are used to those items coming with the meat but you have to order them separately here). The meat was well seasoned and cooked very well on the bbq and came with good sides to complement the meal. They also replaced the bbq pan once during our meal and kept checking in to make sure we didn't need anything further. We also really liked the decor and the quaint size of the place. We also didn't feel rushed, which is one complaint I usually have w k-bbq places. Overall a great experience.
google avatar

Linda P.

Yelp
Out of all the korean bbq places I have eaten at, this was the worst one I ever had. 1. The meat and gopchang was bland to the max 2. The sides; corn cheese on the grill plate was not filled to the very end and didn't even melt until the end of our meal. The egg was super watery and they poured only a paper thin amount. 3. Was given 4 small pieces of lettuce for three orders of meat but refillable for 3$ Of course the meat is expensive comparable to dalgonae but at least their sides are refillable without charge. They give you lettuce enough for the amount of meat you order. I feel like this restaurant is *super* skimpy on portions . The waiters were attentive though which was nice
google avatar

Yelp
We absolutely loved our experience at Mapo! We came here with a group of 12 to celebrate a birthday and the atmosphere was simply unbeatable. It's a really fun restaurant that blasts k-pop and they have a little show/song when they present a birthday cake. We got their school bento box, jjam bong, 2 combos that came with a bunch of different meat cuts and spicy tofu soup and loved everything. We also highly recommend their soju cocktails, they were delicious. Overall, the food was great and the vibes were even better!
google avatar

JJ L.

Yelp
They aesthetics of the restaurant were super cool and artsy. The pork belly was amazing and delicious.m as well at the short ribs
google avatar

Yelp
Yes it is pretty pricey, yes the line is always very very long and they don't take small group reservations, but they are really really good. Among the rest of the metropolitans in North America, Toronto really doesn't have that many good choices of KBBQ, so I am not going to use the same standard I used for NYC and LA KBBQs here. Let's talk about this place in 2 aspects, the food, the service/atmosphere. The food: THEIR THICK CUT HONEY COMB PORK BELLY IS A MUST TRY. I personally hold the highest standard on KBBQ pork belly and it is extremely delicious we had to order 3 portions of it. I also really like their raw beef with pear, it is very icy, some of the pear is basically just a block of ice, but when you are eating hot bbq, and drink soju, it is extremely nice to eat something icy to balance it out. One thing I don't like is the old school bento, it is fun to order because you get to do it like how people in kdrama do, but it just tastes off and too fishy. The service: I don't find the waiters here too friendly, they just do their job, they would sometimes grill for you and cut your meat, but some of them are expressionless. I know it is a long day, and you have to work non stop, but it just doesn't feel like we are welcomed. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice, the posters and the soju bottles on the shelf are all very nostalgic.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Came on relatively tame Thursday night and there was no wait though the place was pretty full. We got combo C for three people and it was a decent amount and selection of meats. Not much in terms of veggies and they don't have many side dishes. Tofu soup had good flavor but the tofu wasn't as soft as I'm used to and where was my raw egg to crack inside?? The cheese corn was good. Drinks are limited to soju and a few beers. I've had better but this was bad. Staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was unique and made you feel like you were in Korea. They have febreeze by the exit to get that BBQ smell off your clothes lol. No we didn't use it. Savor the smells!
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
I love Korean BBQ and this place didn't disappoint. Was a little pricey at $50 per person but we ate so much it was hard to walk. Spicy soup was amazing, also Bulgogi and short rib. Dipping sauces were also great
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 the ribs that we had were perfectly cooked! In the picture you see grill marks but that's still the raw plate, I didn't get to take a picture of the finished product but it was delicious! Not too salty or under-flavoured. It was very flavourful! Same with the thinly sliced pork, as they cooked it more, it became really crispy! This was very flavourful when you dipped it in the sauce provided and wrapped in lettuce. Service: the staff was very friendly and clean. With the two meat dishes that we ordered, the staff would come by every few minutes to help us cut and rotate the meat. There were two servers that helped us do this and each time they came they really spent their time to make sure our meats were grilled perfectly. The restaurant is very clean and you can tell that their ingredients are fresh, in the back you can see the staff cutting up leeks, and bring out cleanly wrapped pork that is about to be cooked. Total before tip: $60 for the bbq with min 2 orders of meat, leek pancake, rice, and small dishes. I thought it was very value for the amount you got! TIP: It's 10% off if you have cash!!! They have an atm there is you forget.

Yelp
Saw this place popped up on Bloor W Korean town and wanted to try it out.. It was jam packed the first time around so I tested my luck another day. I think this is under the same ownership as the restaurant Daldongnae in uptown Toronto.. I've been to both and the interiors and menus are strikingly similar. It really has that nice, authentic, old Korean theme which makes the location interesting. Korean BBQ never goes wrong and they will provide egg and kimchi around the metal plate so that it cooks while the meat is being cooked in the centre. It's a little pricey, and I was a little worried that what we ordered wouldn't be enough but we did leave with a full stomach. As the pic shows, we cleaned it up nicely. No qualms with the service - they refilled our veggies sufficiently. If you aren't doing Korean BBQ yourself at home or at a park, can't really beat places like these to try out authentic Korean BBQ. Don't bother going to those cheap fake Korean Grill House places.

Yelp
Wow! From the service to the food, just WOW! I'm a sucker for traditional Korean BBQ and I've been eyeing Mapo Korean BBQ for a couple of months--since they opened. There has always been a line-up every time I passed by, so I decided to go early on a Friday evening. We ordered the Honeycomb pork belly and thinly sliced beef. The service is impeccable! When you think the servers don't care or are not looking, they are making sure your meat doesn't burn and that your grill is constantly filled with goodness. The side dishes were continuously refilled and the tofu stew was delicious. I usually judge Korean BBQ places by the quality of their meat, as well as the side dishes. However, Mapo deserves five starts simply for their service. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Yelp
I just found my new favourite Korean BBQ restaurant and I hope it's here to stay!!! Perfectly marinated and marbled meat cooked over perfectly set temperature (unlike the majority of places that turns the heat too high and meat comes out dry AF). This place is definitely THE BEST out of all Korean BBQ I've tried in Toronto! Service: Top notch! It was a busy night but the waitress always attended us with a smile. Gave us great recommendations and patiently helped us cook the first round. Atmosphere: I love the old-school decorations in the restaurant and the wooden walls, makes me feel like I'm back home, warm and cozy. FOOD: Meats are very well marinated and marbled, reasonably priced. Table top bbq comes with a free soup and I love how to cooktop has slots for cheese & corn dips!!! Highly recommend the pork belly marinated in wine, and the beef short ribs (must dip in cheese!) the beef ribs literally melts in your mouth! I always drink Makgeolli (this white rice drink) with Korean bbq, I love how they serve it in a copper pot with bowls, really reminds me of back home (I'm not Korean but had similar experiences growing up in China). Highly recommended! Seriously one of the best meals I've had in a very long time!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Yelp
Pretty good! Doesn't replace (Little) Piggy's in my books but everything was still pretty tasty. The favourite item was definitely the "lunchbox". My boyfriend is Korean and it was super nostalgic for him! It has spam, kimchi, fried egg and rice. He closed the lid and started to shake it like a madman haha. The meat wasn't the best quality, especially for the price we were paying. A little disappointing.

Yelp
Went here with some ex coworkers for dinner, great service right at the get go, the quality of meats was pretty great for the Korean bbq so much so that we actually ordered the beef tar tar to try because the meat for the bbq was so great. Atmosphere wise it was pretty loud but it's expected on a busy Friday night. I would def go back again, with a group of friends.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went for a late dinner yesterday. For a Tuesday it was still pretty packed but we didn't have to wait for a table. I really liked how the tops of the chairs opened so you could put your coats and bags into them. This prevented them from smelling of meat and smoke when we left. My boyfriend and I ordered the LA Kalbi and Samgyeopsal with a side of rice. It came with a lot of side dishes, tofu stew and lettuce to make wraps definitely more than enough food for the both of us. The service was great, our waitress was attentive and helped cook our meat. At the end we even received some Yakult (probiotic drinks) to help digest our food. Would definitely come back again!

Yelp
This place is amazing. I went during my vacation. The staff are really understanding and fun. It is a bit different from the ones in Montreal downtown . ( for whom don't know( It is not a buffet but a resto grill, so each food has their price but it's affordable and the portion are quite full. The food was great. I have nothing bad to say. I recommend

Yelp
I would eat here again in an Instant! The servers cooked the meat to perfection . What a fun experience if you're looking for something new to try while in Toronto!
