Golden View Firenze

Delicious dishes with a beautiful golden view of Ponte Vecchio. The staff were incredibly friendly—special thanks to Ammar for making our last dinner in Firenze truly memorable!

I found Golden View when doing research for our trip to Florence and immediately made a reservation after seeing the views of the iconic Ponte Vecchio (bridge). It far exceeded expectations! My husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered and our server truly spoiled us with knowledge about Italian wines and some extra apps and dessert. I highly recommend the truffle pasta. We were so impressed and enjoyed our visit so much that we went back for our anniversary two nights later to have some champagne and apps before another dinner reservation. You can't go wrong with a meal at Golden View!

Mr. rogers serves very kindly. Every course were fantastic and ingredients are fresh and delicious. One of best things is good performance for reasonable price. I’ll recommend this restaurant for Korean!

High prices are clearly for the view, everything else is quite basic. The wine was poured without a tasting, the salad arrived after the main course, and the service was slow even though there weren’t many other guests. The “tartar” was very bland. Not worth visiting.

Had very nice lunch at Golden View, the view is quite literally one of the best you can get in Florence of the bridge. Our waiter, Marges was very kind, spoke excellent English, and had great food recommendations. I would recommend to come for lunch to see the view in the daylight and come early for a window view! A place for special occasions, it fully met our expectations. We tried the sea and land menu’s and the quality and quantity were on point. It’s a pricey place but according to what you get and the location. Waiting times between dishes were correct and with kind service. I would have liked more detail in the dish presentations but it was fine anyway. The tables with views to the Ponte Vecchio are very very romantic, we celebrated our engagement there :)

It was worst experience i’ve ever had. After two hours, they was trying to move our away in the middle of meal. While i tried several Michelin 3 starred restaurants, i’ve never heard of that kind of rule. Also, when i gave a feedback that i’d had bad experience tonight, she just turned around, took my table napkin, and hurled it harsh against the wall! Her attitude was not acceptable! You would be deserved better even in a causal restaurant. If you are asians or tourists not speaking italian, please avoid this place. Food is not that great either!
