"Artisanal Ice Cream Shops "Money can’t buy happiness but it can buy ice cream and that’s almost the same thing." This motto is painted across the wall of the Capoue artisanal ice cream shop on Place St. Josse. They are right. Ice cream here does equate to happiness. Capoue is a Brussels institution, and you can find the bright airy shops dotted around the city. They serve a variety of gelato and sorbet to take away, with flavours ranging from all manner of fruits to Belgian chocolaty concoctions. Eat in and you can take your ice cream upscale, with the addition of crepes, waffles and a wide variety of toppings. Not always on the menu, but a heavenly treat, is the caramel salé, or salted caramel, gelato. This sweet salty indulgence really proves money can buy happiness after all."

A really nice ice cream shop next to the abbey de la Cambre ! Perfect during a sunny day , unfortunately prices are in line with other shops 5€ for two scoops are a bit too much.

The ice cream was disgustingly delicious. It’s outrageous how wonderful the ice cream is. Absolutely delightful! The chocolate ice cream here is incredibly rich and creamy, with a deep, authentic cocoa flavor that is simply irresistible. The stracciatella is a perfect balance of smooth vanilla base and crunchy chocolate flakes, making each bite a delightful surprise. Both flavors are a must-try for any ice cream lover. It's a small place with a nice little garden. It's very cosy, clean, friendly place. The ice cream is very good. The whole menu is very good. Wide variety of flavours. You can have pancakes or waffles. And on top of all of these nice things, there are the people who work there, who make the place even much better. They are all nice and and do their best for their customers, but there is especially one waiter who has to be mentioned separately. He is the so nice, so friendly, so funny that just for him it's worth to come to this particular ice cream place. He always has a nice word to everyone and always smiling. Makes tho whole place more much more pleasant. The ice cream is good but the service is the best. Thank you for this!!!!

I give 2 stars just because it’s probably the only open ice cream shop in the area. However, the ice cream is not good. They keep all the ice cream plastic boxes without their own lid in a big freezer, causing the flavor to “mix”… I took pistacchio and caramel and none of them had a definite flavor, but they tasted more like ice… It would have been 100 times better if they had proper ice cream stainless steel containers, one for each taste, covered with their own lid to preserve the taste and the HYGIENE. OVERPRICED! I paid €6 for 2 (non-tasty) scoops. It’s a pity…
