Google
Really nice record store. Definitely the place to go if you're looking to discover great new music that you might have overlooked otherwise. The atmosphere is also very nice and their turntable listening station is probably one of the best I've used at a record store in the city -- although there is only one you can use. There's also apparel/home goods but I think the music is the main pull here!

The atmosphere was brimming with mellow vibes. My soul felt at peace listening to the sultry rhythm of the song playing over the speakers. Unfortunately I didn’t end up purchasing anything because the artists seemed too mainstream. But I plan on visiting again for the wicked clothing.

Nina was super knowledgeable and helpful! Gave a bunch of super cool suggestions. Store has a very clean look and easy-going vibe. It's very easy to get lost in the music and spend too much time here

Google
Best record shop in NYC for contemporary club music of all sorts. A true community CENTER too. Grateful for all the work these folks put in to provide a home and common ground for the NY dance community.

Definitely not my type of place to spend time at, but for the right people this could be heaven. I can't put my finger down on the exact atmosphere it has, but it definitely fits the music that plays / is sold there. Interesting place.

I thought I was dreaming when I stumbled across this record store by chance. Stocking a selection of very powerful sonic resources in record and tape format, including from Trilogy Tapes, Berceuse Héroïque, LIES, and Legowelt, it is so heartening to know that a store like this exists in New York, providing a place for this music.

Unique selection of records, vintage wear, and trinkets. Nina is a gem of a human, and this place just runs high with good vibes and great music!

Google
What a great shop. Not just dance stuff as others have said, but a great selection of ambient, left field and general "out there" music. And well priced.

Yelp
The back in 30 min. hand written note in the middle of the afternoon lost them at least 12 customers. Everyone who walked up decided to leave after waiting.

Yelp
Small but eclectic and well organized selection of tapes and records. Many of the records i found here i have never seen in other shops so, you know the stuff here is quite unique. The woman working there was very kind and was happy to allow me to listen to anything i was curious about. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are into the RVNG Intl label or into experimental/electronic records.

Yelp
Bought some really terrific reggae records here. I really like the folks that own and run this place. They are kind adults who are kind to customers, which is novel in relation to other record stores and every store in NYC. One of my favorite record stores.
