Oh my gosh these cocktails were GOOD. Tucked in such a prime spot, this place delivered the exact vibe we were looking for on a Friday evening. And our charcuterie spread was the perfect complement to the expertly crafted drinks. Bonus points for branded ice cubes 👌

Mooncloud is an absolute gem, and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates truly exceptional cocktails and small plates. It's the kind of place that elevates a casual evening into a memorable experience. The cocktails here are the main event, crafted with precision and passion. My classic vodka martini was simply perfect—chilled to the ideal temperature, clean, and expertly balanced. But the real star was the vibrant and delightful Ruby Slipper martini (as seen in the photo), which was an instant favorite. Their mixology program is clearly top-tier, making every sip a pleasure. To complement the amazing drinks, we ordered the charcuterie board, and it was fantastic. The presentation was gorgeous, and the board offered a generous, high-quality selection of cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and perfect accompaniments. Every element, from the savory meats to the tangy pickled onions, was excellent. The highlight, however, was the sourdough toast served alongside—thick-cut, perfectly toasted, and possessing a wonderful texture and tang that made it the perfect vehicle for everything on the board. If you’re looking for amazing drinks and incredible bites in an intimate setting, Mooncloud should be at the very top of your list. Don't leave without trying their cocktails and the charcuterie board with that incredible sourdough.

Good cocktail bar (especially considering the alternatives in the area). Can recommend Bladerunner. Other drinks were not convincing

What an awesome place. I went here a few years ago and I remember thinking I couldn’t wait to come back when I was in the area again. I was hoping it was as good as I remembered it to be and it absolutely delivered. The vibe is really cool, music is great, and the bartenders are so talented and kind. My brother and I loved our drinks. Really creative cocktail list and just so well done!! Looking forward to the next time!!

Love this place! Great service, amazing food and drinks - the mezcal Negroni was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and fun music too. Would absolutely visit again when in the area 🍸🌙😍

Ruby Slipper, their take on a cosmo. Sweet, tart, fresh, lovely. Guilty pleasure their take on a espresso martini, creamy smooth and delicious.Then the battle of J* light, refreshing, with perfect tequila. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was lively and beautifully decorated. ☆☆☆☆☆

We each had one drink before going to dinner in town and had trouble deciding what to get as there were so many appealing options! We all enjoyed our cocktails — the ice cubes were even branded with their logo. We sat outside and service was very slow, which would have been fine on any other night but we were stressed about getting to dinner on time. The drinks were great, though, so kept it at 5 stars!

MoonCloud was recommended to us by a bartender in Pittsfield, and we had a great experience! We had our dog, so we sat outside at one of their few tables on their patio. The server was really sweet and helped us decide what to order. The drinks were wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to get a cocktail!

This spot came highly recommended to me by a friend and it was definitely worth the stop! Incredible cocktails with a cozy/vibey interior. We had a golden milk punch- a take on a clarified punch that was perfectly crafted! Although we didn't have anything to eat here- there were several boards that went past that looked incredible!

Nice bar in the Great Barrington area. Staff are friendly and the place is clean and well decorated. They place techno music. They are in a popular are so at certain times parking is limited. I hope you enjoy. Drinks are strong.

Best cocktails in the tristate area! Billy, owner/bartender, always has a great recommendation if some new concoction. Stop in for a drink before or after dinner elsewhere. Or enjoy a poke bowl, or delicious cheese & charcuterie right there at Mooncloud with your drink.

My wife found this little gem on Yelp. We stopped in to grab a cocktail. These were some of the best cocktails we have had, and where served by a great staff! We had a long chat with the bartender who makes great conversation as well as drinks! This is a classy bar and comes highly recommend!

Billy Jack and the team at Moon Cloud took great care of our group. We went with a large group on a saturday evening as part of a bachelor party weekend, and it was a real highlight of the weekend, sipping on delicious drinks in a wonderful environment. Highly recommend if you're visiting Great Barrington! Try the Primitive Instinct!

a small upscale bar in downtown great barrington, drinks were very interesting and fun to watch them prepared, they even brand the large ice cubes in the drinks that are served that way, limited, but interesting appetizer type food selection, very nice and friendly, a cozy bar!!

Phenomenal cocktails, we've tried 5 and had a delicious dessert over 2 days. Everything is on point, very creative, excellent service. Love this place

Ok, seriously now - coolest place! We just found it online and well... let's do this! - staff - AMAZING! So friendly, laid back yet professional! - drinks - such a creative & imaginative cocktail list as well as impressive beer & wine list - food - beautiful charcuterie & other bar snacks! Really interesting place. It's small, but they are killing it - you wouldn't believe what they are able to do within these 4 walls! Plus, very cool vibe. Go there, you'll be glad you did.

My boyfriend and I stopped in after walking around GB. We try to come to the Berkshires ever fall to look at the foliage, but never really stop and enjoy the restaurants and bars until today. We both got Bloody Marys and my gawd these were the best bloody Marys I have ever tasted. The bf had another Bloody Mary while I had a Paloma. And then I had 2 more, lol. It was so delicious. Unfortunately I had to drive back to the hotel so I had to stop there. We also had the smoked trout which was equally good. If you are ever in the area, please stop in. We also met the manager Josh and he was cool as hell. Shout out to him.

Of all the places within the Berkshires, Mooncloud has a class and quality that stands above the rest. There is something for everyone. No matter what you enjoy you will find something that not only is what you like but exceeds your expectations. The staff is also elite. April, one of the servers, not only has impressed me with quality service but also provided a welcoming atmosphere that improved my overall experience. Her attitude and the attitude of the rest of the staff shows that they love what they do and they enjoy having other people be a part of it as well. Highly recommend mooncloud

Mooncloud is as dreamy as it sounds. Best cocktails North of NY and amazingly sophisticated small plates -- from chicken liver mousse to cheeses and crab rillette. We're all in need of a place where cares and concerns melt into Moonclouds. It won't disappoint. And their new BBQ is off the charts!

I found the BBQ to be good -- not great. There is a reason why most reviews are about the very strong drinks here. I found the plates to be small and expensive.

This new 24-seat lounge has a "dynamite cocktail program", great local food and the best people in town. It's all about the bartender Billy Paul, also known as Billy Jack. He's the star of the show and together with friends and family has curated the perfect night spot for GB. Open 5PM to midnight Wednesdays to Sundays for now. "We're about bringing the community of local things all together, and serving local foods, 12 months a year."

What an amazing way to cap off girls weekend in the Berkshires.. come visit Mooncloud. Terrific charcuterie and the cocktails are wonderful. We had the special Garden of Envy with gin.. absolutely beautiful and flavorful. Wonderful dinner and the pana cotta was to die for. Thank you Billy and crew for making a wonderful night and tap off to a great weekend.

After dinner drinks. A local burbuon, A 3 ring circus, A Ruby slipper and cookie sampler. Very elegant atmosphere and products. I love the seasonal offerings. I would love to see an even more extensive cocktail list. It looks like there is so much boutique alcohol there, and I want to try more but I don't know how to order or select. How about a mezcal flight? A 3 cocktail sampler?
