"You’ll need to book months ahead to snag one of the seven tables in this intimate island restaurant. The Corsican-born chef, Damien Rinaldi-Dovio, combines classic French gastronomy with Polynesian flavors, and has been winning raves from guests since 2004. His wonderful—and, yes, pricey—tasting menus offer multiple courses with optional wine pairings; the menu also listsà la carteoptions."

What a truly unique and delicious experience. This is hands down the best French cuisine restaurant I have ever been to—and it’s in Bora Bora. The restaurant is small, cozy, and beautiful, creating an intimate and charming atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally attentive and warm, and the food is simply magnificent. We started with a mixed salad, followed by the mahi-mahi and the roasted leg of lamb as our main courses—both were beyond delicious. We paired everything with a lovely Pinot Noir and finished with a Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert, which was absolutely perfect. If you’re visiting Bora Bora, this place is an absolute must. 10 out of 10 stars.

Villa Mahana is truly a gem. We had the lamb and the mahi-mahi served with a fresh green salad, and every bite was spectacular. The flavors were deeply local yet incredibly sophisticated—refined, balanced, and beautifully executed. The restaurant itself is intimate, with only about 6–8 tables, creating a romantic and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for couples. The service was exceptional: warm, attentive, and thoughtful from start to finish. One detail that truly elevates the experience is that they picked us up and brought us back to our hotel, making the evening completely seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for an authentic, high-end dining experience in Bora Bora with outstanding food, impeccable service, and a cozy, romantic setting, Villa Mahana is an absolute must. 🌺

Villa Mahana is an absolute gem in Bora Bora. The setting is intimate and romantic, with only a few tables, and the service is warm and attentive. The food is on another level—easily Michelin quality. Every dish we had was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The wine pairings were spot on, and the whole evening felt unforgettable. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in French Polynesia.

My wife and I booked a table in La Villa Mahana for New Year's supper. We loved this place: wide variety of choices. We ordered the Epicurean and the Exotique menu. The first one, classic French cuisine. The second one, Polynesian cuisine with local ingredients. Starters, main dishes and desserts of both menu are amazing. Top-rated for Premium quality food. We recommend to book in advance

We are world travelers and have been in several Michelin star restaurants. Villa Mahana exceeded our expectations: Exquisite dishes, perfectly mastered and prepared by Chef Damian! The blend of European cuisine with Tahitian flair and local island ingredients is unique and when paired with perfect service and quaint atmosphere, makes one of the best restaurants on the island, if not the best. Loved the Mahi Mahi with a touch of rum and special hint of a local flavorful banana that takes the fishiness away in a subtle way. The New Zealand beef steak is beautifully prepared and done just right. We loved our Christmas Eve meal and will return! Compliments to the Chef!

An Unforgettable Night at La Villa Mahana Dining at La Villa Mahana was truly the highlight of my stay in Bora Bora. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The ambiance was intimate and romantic, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. The food was exceptional, with every dish crafted to perfection, blending French culinary artistry with the finest Polynesian flavors. Each course was a delight, showcasing the chef’s passion and expertise. The wine selection perfectly complemented the meal, elevating the entire experience. Adding to the magical atmosphere was the live piano music, which made the night even more special. It was a perfect blend of elegance, romance, and world-class cuisine. If you’re visiting Bora Bora, La Villa Mahana is a must-visit. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance, as this exclusive gem is highly sought after. An unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever!

An absolutely magical and sensory delight. During a recent visit to the Westin Bora Bora, hubby and I ventured off campus to experience this highly recommended restaurant and it didn’t d not disappoint. La Villa Mahana was most certainly the culinary highlight of our Tahitian holiday. Everything was perfection; the ambiance - romantic, food - divine and generous, service - timely & friendly but not intrusive, and the value was tremendous. We were hosted like family one actually likes. Logistically, the concierge at our hotel made reservations and arranged return water taxi and shuttle service for &35 per person. The restaurant timed our dinner perfectly to allow for transportation curfews. Do not skip this when on Bora Bora. We can’t wait to come back.
