Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M Yokocho Branch

Chose this branch as it was open for lunch, near our hotel and could be reserved online. Friendly service by their foreign staff, and while we appreciated the private enclosed space, it was tight and when you had loud and talkative neighbours (who were also French), you had to listen to them throughout the meal. We chose to order our meat a la carte as we also wanted to choose our own sides. The beef was delicious, but certain cuts were really too fat and could give you a heart attack almost on the spot. Actually I liked the marinated house cuts most. The garlic rice was yummy, but the udon wasn’t what I expected and I didn’t like it so much. It was a good address for trying matsuzaka beef and I recommend.

Love this place . We always try to drop in when in Osaka. The best place to get your Matsusaka beef fix. Prices are very reasonable. It is a tiny place so reservations are highly recommended. Service staff are efficient and attentive . They will even grill the meats for you if you wish. Thank you so much Anh and Nimh. We enjoyed our meal at M! Hope to be back in Japan sooner than later.

We had the best dinner at Matsusakagyu yakiniku M hozenjiyokocho. We wanted to celebrate our honeymoon with a nice dinner but didn’t have a reservation here but we were able to get seated quicky after a short wait. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Alex and Yu Pan were our servers and they were the sweetest and most attentive people ever. Highly recommend!!!

We had the Omakase 8 kinds and Premium Course — loved everything about it!!! They even show you the birth (and death) certificate of the beef! Our favorite cuts: - Sirloin steak - Top sirloin cut - Sukiyaki cuts with the egg yolk dip But pretty much everything melts in your mouth. Stairs heading up to the 2nd floor might be a bit tight, but Sabean gave us a superb service! He cooked all the meat to perfection! Definitely coming back!

Service by Dipesh and all staff was excellent. I’ve never had anything like it, possibly the best meal that I’ve ever had. The beef was just delicious. We ordered one of the set meat platters. Dipesh showed us how to cook and then we cooked ourselves. Ordered extra rice, a salad and some edamame. I had advised them that we were celebrating our son’s 18th birthday and they organised a special birthday surprise for desert. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Thank you.

This was The main dinner stop for me and my wife for our honeymoon in Japan. Food was incredible, was amazing, and they treat their customers very well! Definitely give this place a chance if you’re in the area. Very fair prices as well for A-5 Wagyu. We had a private setting upstairs with a curtain that pulled down for additional privacy. Very nice touch!

We were walking near Dotonbori looking for a place to have dinner and we found this AMAZING spot by looking at the menu they had outside. Yu Pan and their team gave us the best experience ever. Matsusaka beef is superior by itself, but the salad, rice (oh my gosh, the rice!), kimchi and everything else, we had no words. We had the complete course dinner and it was worth every yen. We highly recommend this for a whole Osaka experience.

Hands down one of the best yakiniku experiences we’ve ever had. Matsusaka Yakiniku M (Yokocho branch) truly lives up to its reputation. Their Matsusaka beef is on another level — incredibly rich, tender, and it literally melts in your mouth with every bite. We ordered the Matsusaka Beef Premium Course along with the Matsusaka Beef Omakase platter, and wow… every cut was a whole new experience. Each piece had its own flavor and texture, and honestly, this is probably the best beef we’ve ever tried. Special shoutout to Alisha, who made the experience even better by clearly explaining the different cuts of beef and providing top-quality, attentive service throughout the meal. Her knowledge and warmth really elevated the dining experience. If you’re looking for unforgettable Wagyu and a truly premium yakiniku experience, this place is an absolute must-visit. 🔥🥩
