"Tour Grafenegg Castle and Gardens Though the foundations go back hundreds of years prior, Grafenegg Castle as we know it today was constructed in the 19th century and is a fine example of historicism. The interior is open April through October. It's particularly known for music events throughout the year and a Christmas market."

A really nice and well restored castle just 40 minutes from Vienna. Exquisite detail. Lovely chapel. Relaxing gardens all around. Only €7 entrance fee for self guided tour.

A beautiful castle, but I've seen much more beautiful ones. There are beautiful gardens around it that are suitable for a two-hour walk.

This is a magical place with beautiful garden and castle. The concerts and events are being organized on a regular basis. We went for a classical music concert! Perfect organization, orchestra and performance. If you are around check their website in advance 😊 it’s quite famous in the area.

Nice castle from outside, but interior is not very attractive. We could go on the tour completely on our own without a guide, what was great. The lady at the cash register was very nice and told us about the history of the castle. Parking on nearby parking area for free.

I grew up around here and I've been visiting the gardens many many times and I was in the castle too already. When I was little, this place was the reason for me to be so interested in medieval history and in castles in general. Great place!

Unfortunately we were there when the castle was closed so I can’t speak to the inside. But the grounds were absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed walking around the castle and lounging in the chairs in the grass. Would definitely recommend

This place is perfect for an afternoon stroll. The building itself is definitely worth looking at, no matter from which direction you view it. Don't think entering it is allowed but would be good to see from inside as well. The whole area is very calm with few people.

Went for a outings at my boss hometown, this place is such a wonderful, vast open agriculture field, not much population which means less pollution and more open space and greenery, we can feel the freshness of air, it's so good and tranquil can't put into words, clean and neat, almost looks like scenery,Schloss Grafenegg is historical palace

Yelp
Grafenegg is one of the top summer classical music venues and festivals in Europe. It is located in the idyllic countryside northwest of Vienna on one of the most romantic neo-Gothic estates you could ever imagine. For the castle itself, think Downton Abbey...or maybe even more elaborate than that. The outdoor concert amphitheatre on the other hand is a modern architectural fantasy called the Cloud Tower. Near the old riding hall and stables are wine bars and eating establishments and of course the spectacular surrounding grounds and gardens await your discovery. A summer night's concert here is a perfect respite from the stress of everyday life. And all this comes with a shuttle bus from central Vienna to transport you to Grafenegg in comfort!
