Imakatsu Roppongi

First time trying Imakatsu at Imakatsu Roppongi and it did not disappoint! The chicken breast was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and amazingly crispy. I loved that the salad and rice come with free refills—definitely make sure to try the house salad that comes with your meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, high-quality katsu!

I visited this store at dinner. I had wait for 30 mins. However I ordered the food during wait time. Afterthat I just got foods after having seat 5 mins. The food was perfect. In particular chicken katsu was so soft. And I like the lectuce. And green beans were also tasty.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but the chicken tender katsu blew me away — it was incredible. I was already full, but it was so good I couldn’t leave a single bite. Easily one of the best katsu I’ve ever had. Crispy outside, unbelievably juicy inside. I’d go back just for that.

Great food. But definately not worth an 1+ hour wait on the street. The staffs were not as kind as usual Japanese restaurants.

This will be the place I measure all my future Katsu meals against. The meal was very very good. Keep in mind that taste is subjective, but for me, this is the perfection of crispiness, juiciness, and flavor. We didn't wait in line at all, but I think that was luck. While we ate, it looked like about 10-15 people queued up outside waiting to get that Katsu goodness, and it might have only got worse after that. The staff was pleasant and the food was served pretty quick. It took a little bit to get the bill, but that is barely mentionable, as the rest of everything was amazing.

Had to wait about 15 mins to be seated but it was well worth it. Pork loin tonkatsu is delicious but isn’t outstanding. Other places also offer good quality, if not even better, but is still very solid - not overcooked. The tenderloin chicken katsu is the real star of the show. So tender and juicy - cooked to the perfect doneness. I don’t think I’ve had chicken this good. Pork tenderloin and creamy crab croquettes are reasonably delicious. Be warned that the chicken is slightly pink on the inside, so if you’re uncultured don’t even bother coming and take other people’s seats.

Saw good review for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We had to queue for more than 30 minutes before we got our seats. The restaurant has a sitting capacity for about 20 persons only. We had a variety of katsu, and all were excellent. All were crispy but not oily. I love the chicken katsu, best of all. The chicken is tender and juicy. Service was also quite fast. This is definitely one of the nicest places to eat in Tokyo.

Wow this was amazing! We lined up for maybe 20mins on a weekday around 6:45pm but it was well worth the wait. The restaurant is quite small so probably best to go with a small group of 2-4. I got an assorted katsu variety and it was amazinggg, the batter was light and the meats were soft and juicy. Not too greasy at all. One set is the perfect amount for one person. Free refills for rice and cabbage salad. Highly recommend and would come again!
