Letna Park

This park is a blend of most areas of Prague and is not just great for tourists, but also perfect for local strollers and cyclists. The park is large and dynamic, with open flat terrain, tree infested greenery and hidtorical landmarks, and serves as a gateway toward the city center. I would not recommend going here at night, though.

You cannot miss this park if you come to Prague, it isn't a specific attraction but rather a whole collection of them all within of the most beautiful paths I have ever seen, with the best view of Prague in the city. If you have the opportunity to visit in fall, DO IT, the leaves are life changing. The highlights include THE FAMOUS LOG (MUST SEE), the lake, the broken Metronome, and a little Hobbit house you pass along the way

Oasis of green and peace, nearby the river Vltava. Easy access by tram. There are some steps to go up however. Views are great. I went there by sunset. There are people strolling around, a small lake and a Cafe at the highest point.

A beautiful space! Lots of open park land with designated play areas for young children and some tennis courts. Popular for kite flying. The park runs adjacent to the river and it was a pleasant stroll down to the river bank and over one of the many bridges and into central Prague.

This park is worth visiting if you want a breathtaking view of Prague. The park is well kept and quite beautiful. There is also a beer garden restaurant if you would like to sit down and enjoy the views.

Very pretty and large park. Have a great view over the old city of Prague. There is a large statue of Metronome. Need to take short bus drive from city centre.

Spectacular views over the river. It is a steep climb-bewarned! We took the tram to the side entrance on the way up but climbed down to Malostranska. Good thing is viewing deck is not the only point for pictures you can walk around and find other points with a clearing to see the river. Park itself is beautiful and clean-plenty of benches. Lily pond is very peaceful to sit down and enjoy some quiet time.

This city park is gorgeous during the fall, and offers wonderful views of the city year round. You'll have a fair climb up to the park from street along the river, but you can use stairs ir a very long ramp. The park has many fields, walkways, and benches. There's also a skating park area and a pond. It's a perfect place for a date, walking dogs, playing with your kids, or spending some time alone.

Come here and enjoy the best view over the city!!! There is a big park behind, where u can escape from the city or just meet some locals!

Beautiful, cozy and really infromal place with everything you need for active / lazy relax :) Perfectly accessible by walk and public transport. Nice park to come with your friends, have a beer and picknick. Around Metronom is cool spot, expecially in summer where there are many events here.

Letna's big beer garden overlooking the river and city centre is for me the best beer garden in town. Get your plastic cup of beer from the kiosk next to the beer garden and enjoy a sunny day on the grass or by the picnic tables. You can also buy a hotdog, sausage, kebab or quiche from the warm food kiosk during the summer. Drinks and snacks are very affordable and the huge park is yours to enjoy for free. Perfect for sports and picnics cause there's a lot of space. In case you're looking for the perfect post card shot of Prague centre, Vltava river and the bridges, just walk along the river side of Letna park and you will have plenty of photo ops.

Great views and a huge beer garden, what's not to love? The park has 2 playgrounds for kids, including one that is fenced in and dog free. Paved routes for biking and rollerblading as well as plenty of green space for picnics. Make sure to check out the metronome, which used to be the location of the world's largest statue of Stalin.

A sprawling park with great views of the city. easily accessible by tram or just walk, it is just up the hill from prague 1. there are a couple of places serving drinks and snacks and the beer garden overlooks prague's old town. the park is open all year and is always popular on a sunny day(because the sun is rare in this country).

Ah I absolutely love this park, and I went on a grim rainy day as well. I was reaching the end of my time in Prague and knew that I needed to stop at Letna at least once. It's very easy to access if you're too lazy to walk--just take the 18 and get off at the stop before hradcanska and you're pretty much on the edge of the park. Great views of the city, ample green space--def one of my favorite Prague parks.

This park so far is my absolute favorite in Prague. Great for running, walking, jogging, roller blading, taking the dog for a walk, or any other outdoor thing you imagine. There is the Metranome statue which replaced the Stalin statue quite a few years ago and if you are lucky it will be turned on and moving during your visit! This park is huge with many trails and paths as well as stunning views of the city. Looking for that photograph you have seen for sale on the Charles Bridge of all 3 bridges together? Well it is your lucky day because this is the spot they are all taken from. There are multiple amazing photo vantage points here, my personal favorite being the one next to the metranome of the whole city. Great place to spend a nice sunny day in the center of Prague with a picnic. For best results take a tram to the Cechuv most stop and cross the street to the bottom of the stairs and walk up. A great workout and the fastest way to the metranome. A must see for first time Prague visitors and locals alike.
