Best takeaway pizza I’ve had in a long, long time! maybe ever. Grabbed a Margherita and a salami from Rita’s and honestly… wow. The Margherita was everything it should be simple, balanced and absolutely perfect. The base was cooked spot on, light with that beautiful chew, a little char around the edges. The tomato had that fresh, slightly sweet flavour, not overloaded, just clean and classic. Proper mozzarella melt, fresh basil, a drizzle of good olive oil, nothing fancy, just done exceptionally well The salami pizza was next level. Generous but not heavy, crispy edges on the salami, a little spice coming through, and the base somehow still held that airy crunch. Every bite had flavour without feeling greasy or overworked You can taste that they care about what they’re doing No gimmicks. No overload. Just seriously good pizza Strong contender for best in Melbourne. 10/10. Will absolutely be back

I know “might be the best pizzas I’ve ever had” sounds like an exaggeration but I’m not joking when I say that if not the, definitely a strong contender!! My friend took me here for dinner on Friday night and it was busy with just a short wait for a table (no booking made) ordered a couple of wines and the potato pizza (my fave!!) and the spicy pepperoni bases were cooked perfectly, flavours of the toppings were delicious, and food came out reasonably quick! also ordered the tiramisu as a little sweet treat and it did not disappoint would definitely come back!!

Absolutely delicious. Amazing pizza. Great service. Crispy thin base, delicious base sauce, quality toppings, spicy chilli oil - was pretty much perfect. Will definitely be back.

Amazing hospitality! They let us in before they opened and were really good to us. The pizza was amazing - probably one of the best pizza places in Melbourne. Will recommend 10/10

I love Rita’s and have been coming here for years. The pizza is the best. Sonia & Claudia are so lovely and always look after me. Eat in or takeaway both great. For eat in get there early as it’s always packed

We had such a great night at Rita’s in Abbotsford! When we called to book, Sonia (pretty sure that was her name) was so lovely and super accommodating with our daughter. When we arrived she looked after us straight away and made us feel really comfortable. The food was honestly amazing – everything we ordered was spot on. And the happy hour is such a win: $5 Peronis and $10 rusty margaritas… can’t go wrong with that! Awesome vibes, great service and unreal food. We’ll definitely be back

Had the vegan pizzas with my niece who had eaten the regular pizza before and she commented that the cheese was especially nice. I was really surprised at how good the vegan cheese was, it was truly stretchy and not too greasy. The base is incredible. It’s a bit different from the usual in that it is crispy while not burnt (which is great). The best one is the potato and mushroom pizza. Eggplant was so so, not that many eggplants on it. Go for two potatoes.

I've had Rita's take away several times but never been into the restaurant. Good set up and service, ordered the lamb ragu, vodka rigatoni, mussels, burrata and a pizza. Started with the burrata and mussels which wetted the appetite and for mains we had The pizza which was good, but, the pastas were the standout. Ended with a tiramisu which has the right flavours but needed a bit more of a coffee soak on the fingers.
