"Despite being located just outside Reykjavik’s main center, the Hilton Nordica maintains its popularity thanks to its superb service and welcoming Scandi-mod interiors. Though workingtravelers tend to favor the property for its many functional conference rooms and business center, leisure visitors prefer to cozy up in a leather armchair by the fire in the plush neutral-toned lobby. The aesthetic continues in the spacious rooms and suites (the smallest is 300 square feet) with their calming, natural palettes, colorful photos of Reykjavik, and large windows that allow Iceland ’s generous light to flood in; suites also enjoy separate lounge areas. The VOX restaurant serves gourmet New Nordic cuisine with an emphasis on Icelandic and Scandinavian ingredients, and the open-concept bar serves coffee, tea, and cocktails, and is a comfortable spot for lounging or mingling whether you’re coming in from a busy day of sightseeing or getting ready to hit the town."

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica. Our King Executive Room on the top floor offered a beautiful panoramic view, which was a highlight every morning. There was plenty of parking available, making it very convenient, and the breakfast selection was consistently good. The spa facilities were excellent, and the Executive Lounge was a great bonus ! the variety of food and drinks during the cocktail hours was impressive. Housekeeping was always prompt and kept everything spotless throughout our stay. A special thank you to Gunnar and the team for reaching out before our arrival with helpful information. The warm communication made the experience even smoother. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Reykjavik.

We had a great experience at the Hilton. All staff were incredibly helpful. The facility, rooms, lobby, and all areas were super clean and spacious. The gym is fantastic and the hotel location is desirable. We specifically had a great experience with Anna who cleaned our room very well, and the front desk staff: Greg, Krisana, Natty, Sigrun, Vala, and Diego. Vala made our anniversary special by going above and beyond. The beds were very comfortable as well. We would highly recommend this Hilton for your stay!

This was the 3rd stay at this hotel in 6 days. The last time our room was actually for handicapped people and I actually enjoyed that room. The biggest difference between this room and our current room was the difference in bathrooms. Since this last room was not for handicapped people, there was a tub/shower in the bathroom. The bathtub floor actually sits about 6 inches above the bathroom floor. If you don't realize this you run the risk of falling when you step out of the bathtub onto the floor. I perceive this a a high fall risk especially for older people with mobility problems. Check in was very easy . It took perhaps 3 minutes. The receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was somewhat spacious. It appears to be handicapp-accessible. There is a nice closet with ironing board, refrigerator, drawers, shelves, and a safe. Bathroom was immaculate with tub/shower as previously described. Towels were large and thick/luxurious. The electrical outlets were a located by the desk. I did not see any USB outlets so you will need to bring the appropriate chargers and cables for your devices. Definitely a luxurious air to this hotel. Staff are wonderful, and appear to have varying backgrounds. It's a nice international flavor. The wifi is ok. I did measure their wifi reception as follows: Upload 45 MBPS and download 50 MBPS in my room. There are few restaurants a short (few minutes walk) from the hotel. We rented a vehicle, and if you stay here you probably should rent your own vehicle. I definitely would stay here again if I were using Reykjavik as a home base to explore the nearby areas.

I stayed here during a weekend getaway from Dublin. Although this isn't my first trip to Reykjavik, it was the first time staying here. This hotel was conveniently located on the FlyBus pickup route, and an easy 30-minute walk to town if you're up for it. There was a young guy who assisted me on check in on 09/12 and he was very friendly and kind. He seemed like he was new, but nonetheless he was nice. However, there was a middle -aged gentlemen at the front desk, and his attitude was horrible. HIlton, please address that mess! Because guests need to see smiling staff with good attitudes. Also, it would help if they offered city maps to guests upon check-in, as we had to ask for one so we could check the bus routes. Anyway, our room was clean and comfortable. We also spent time at the lobby bar and the drinks were good, and the staff friendly. I would stay here again on my next trip back to Reykjavik, and I would recommend.

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Hilton Nordic Reykjavík. The highlight was an incredible massage that left me completely relaxed. The breakfast spread was delicious with a wide variety of options—though I accidentally grabbed the gluten-free bread once, everything else was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness, making me feel very welcome throughout my visit. My room was comfortable and offered a beautiful view that made the stay even more special. Overall, an excellent experience—I would definitely return!

We went for the weekend brunch at VOX Brasserie, and it was excellent! The selection was huge, definitely one of the most extensive brunches in town and everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for a Saturday or Sunday treat. Service 4/5, food 5/5, and ambience 5/5. All you can eat and totally worth it. Highly recommended!

I do not recommend booking here over a weekend, it is clear that parking is insufficient. One of the reasons I booked this location was for the peace of mind of free onsite parking. I spent 30min circling the entire block trying to find a parking spot at 8:00 PM this Fri 11/28. When I couldn’t find anything I parked out front (where taxi’s usually wait) to ask the front desk staff for assistance. I was met with barely any apology and told to park out by the grocery stores. These spots were also already full so I ended up parking on the street a block away. This meant having to carry all my hiking gear much further than anticipated. I am checking out tomorrow which means either I stay up later than planned to try to get a parking space in order to avoid having to carry all my luggage to the car parked a block away now or I end up having to carry all my luggage a block away in the morning. I am disappointed with the way staff barely acknowledged this inconvenience. I was planning to pay for the breakfast buffet in the morning but now feel it best to spend my time and money enjoying breakfast elsewhere.
