The Lucky House Fare Manuia Restaurant

We visit Lucky House every time we’re in Bora Bora, and it never disappoints. The poisson cru is always so fresh and flavorful, and the fresh fish in general is amazing. The margarita pizza is delicious too. The service is warm and attentive, and the vibe is the perfect mix of classy and relaxed. And the Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island.

We had the MOST delicious moules gratine here today and a very tasty fish sandwich, both served with great green salads and a lovely dressing. The moules/mussels were the star of the show and I would recommend them highly. Cold hinano beer was a perfect accompaniment.

We went for a dinner to the lucky house, a local recommanded us it. We tryd the cru de poisson, this was amazing tasty and fresh. They take raw tuna mixed with carrot onion and coconut milk and served with little rice. Absolute to recommand whrn you wanna eat typical local polynesian. We also tryd the lobster and the tagliatella. Everything was tasty and good. Staff was super friendly and explained us everything. We would come again.

Chaotic would be the best way to describe this place. Obviously it’s very popular, which causes large queues, slow service and tables so close you’re bumping elbows with fellow diners. The food seems nice enough, if you get what you order. I visited and requested 2 vegetarian burgers to go. The staff member taking the order then asked “well done or medium?”. I obviously looked confused, as he then asked how I would like my steak cooked. I pulled out a menu and pointed to the correct item on the menu, which he then repeated back to me, and produced a recipe for the correct item. This was then confirmed by 2 other staff who appeared 10-15 minutes later to double check what I had requested. There was clearly a degree of language barrier, as one of the ladies was repeating ‘no legume’, and when I wasn’t sure what she was saying, switched to listing salad ingredients (presumably for the burger). Once I received my order I walked back to my hotel, only to open the boxes and find double hamburgers. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to return as I was leaving a short time later to catch a flight. I have since emailed the restaurant with no response, which has led me to write this review. A very poor experience, and a very serious error on the part of the restaurant - thankfully it wasn’t an allergy issue!

We went here after watching the sunset because the Google reviews looked great — and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and the portions were generous. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Definitely a place I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant, but the food can be either hit or miss. + we tried the grilled mahi mahi and the tahitian shrimp stir fry. The stir fry was not exactly what we expected, but both dishes were tasty + nice atmosphere with music and a lot of people - the seafood pasta was below average and had very little seafood in it - the staff seems very overwhelmed by the number of people dining at the restaurant. Slow service and they messed up a few things for our order - a bit expensive for what it offers Better to make a reservation as the place was rather full.

Great food and drinks are good value for money! We were eating hotel food for days and it was good to eat here! Restaurant food good with great quality. The pizza looked good, probably we will try tomorrow!

They only served pizza and burgers at noon, so I ordered a pizza and a fresh pinapple juice. Both untasty. The juice I doubt it was really fresh. Also, the staff was unfriendly and the table was dirty.
