If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Barbados, this beach is by far the best place for a truly authentic experience. Not far from here are a myriad of exciting adventures and experiences! If you have a paddle board the sunken ships are just a mile out from this beach and my goodness are they worth the paddle *note bring sunscreen WITH you if you are a pale skin like me I got burnt to a crisp even with a sun shirt totally worth it but would have been good to know*
Just up the beach from here is where they exercise the horses for the race track, and this may make me ancient but watching horses swim in an exotic ocean and run on the beach gave me a Black Beauty moment I didn't realize I needed. Magic.
And the most incredible of all, the people, this is where the locals hang, they will share their stories, food recommendations, and pro tip if share a beer or cold beverage they may even hook you up with some local fresh fish in the mornings.
This beach isn't necessarily safe at night unless you have locals with you *a smoke and some beer or whiskey go a long way* and stargazing on these beaches is something out of a movie.
I spent half of my trip on this beach and dream of returning often.
