Not a very good experience. We didn't know that we were supposed to take our groceries out of the basket at the check out counter. Instead of telling/asking us the male cashier glared at us, took our basket and slammed it upside down on the check out counter spilling our items onto the counter. Fortunately none of our items were breakable. We left not understanding why he seemed so upset with us. The next time we chose to shop at The Family Market instead and the female checker asked us to take the items out of our basket. Now we know and we also know where to shop.

Go here first! The best market of three we have been to in Vieques so far. This is why I rate Supermercado Morales 5 💥💥💥💥💥. 1.💥an employee gave me a cart when he saw me struggling to get one from the row outside. 2.💥 store is very clean, well air-conditioned. 3.💥biggest size store with wider walk-through aisles. 4. 💥best quality products, frozen, canned, dry goods, canned and otherwise shelf stable products such as juice or milk, baking ingredients AND the freshest produce, meat, and dairy we have seen thus far-the first place I have found a real dairy butter product (Borden spreadable butter with canola oil). 5. 💥fully stocked wide variety of food, wine, school supplies, hardware, pet products, cleaning supplies, personal products, and kitchen products. This is the ONLY place we have found an implement to wash dishes by hand! I nearly cried with relief-sponges, steel scrubbers, combination scrubbers, brushes, even dishwashing gloves! It is expensive, on par with every other store we have shopped on Vieques so far, but fresh beefsteak was about the same price as we pay in the state of Tennessee, USA.

One of the better grocery stores. Eggs were $6.89/dozen Milk was $7.07/ gallon for 2%. Ground beef was $7.76 for not quite 2lbs. Not too bad for island prices but just mentally prepare for anything imported from the US to be more. 👍🏽😊

This is the only grocery store in Isabel II which has gallon-sized jugs of drinking water. (You may need to ask where they are located.) Great price, friendly service! Thank you.

I found this place extremely nice and helpful, the store has a lot of great things that I can't find anywhere else. Loved the place!!

This place was serviceable, but it was understandably cramped. It had very limited options in fresh meat, fish, and poultry. The staff was friendly but checkout did take some time.

They have groceries but, not necessarily what you need, usually something close but, that's life on an island. Their meat is good, fairly cheap, and we've been getting vegetables lately which is a huge bonus but again, that's life on an island.
