"At the Fish Pot, right on the water on the northwest coast outside of Speightstown, grilled lobster and seafood platters are as fresh as you’d expect. The ambiance is one of wicker chairs in an old stone fort house with wooden floors and shutters and lime-colored wooden railings on the terrace."

The Fish Pot in St. Lucy is an absolute gem and an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive — easily what sets this place apart. The service struck that perfect balance of friendly and professional, making us feel truly looked after throughout the meal. We started with the piri piri prawns, which were outstanding — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat — along with an assortment of delicious breads. For the main course, we chose the catch of the day: red snapper, and it was flawless. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour — everything was simply on point. As if the food and service weren’t enough, the views are incredible. Dining with the ocean as your backdrop elevates the entire experience. The Fish Pot delivers exceptional food, breathtaking scenery, and an amazing team who genuinely care about your experience. Highly recommended and a must-visit when in Barbados.

We picked this spot as one of two meals we ate away from our all inclusive resort. We were celebrating 2 anniversaries and we wanted something special without breaking the bank. The prices were reasonable. Great presentation. The food was very good. We also got there before sunset and it was spectacular watching it set. Wait staff was very polite and attentive. One of them even retrieved a tweezer and helped remove a stinger after one of us was strangely stung by a bee. It sure it’s 5 star, but feels more than 4. We would definitely go back.

Great location with stunning views at sunset. There are also sun beds on offer but we didn't look into that yet. It wasn't quite a 4 star for me, my wife's food in particular was disappointing. My catch of the day "Red Snapper" was very nice though. We waited a while to order, at least 15 minutes, at a time when there was only 3 tables seated. I noticed our neighbours were also "given ample time to consider the menu too". I'd visit again for sure, as 3 star is still good in my ratings world.

This is my favorite restaurant on the island! The sunset views are breathtaking, the service is wonderful, and the food is absolutely amazing. I can’t emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our experience. The coconut bread pudding is the best dessert I’ve ever had... its an absolute must try. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Has a great dinner for 4 here. Didn’t have a reservation but luckily a party had just cancelled and we had the private table area. We shared the Scorched Burrata starter. While it was delicious it was tiny. Essentially 1 bite per person. For dinner we had the Catch of the Day, Fish & Chips, Thai Curry & the Barramundi. All were good selections. The service was wonderful and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

A long way north - Speightstown and keep going for another 1 mile and more. Very attractive spot and nice location on the sea. Very busy (Wednesday evening in January). We arrived early, so waited for the table on a nice platform overlooking the harbour/beach. Servers were lovely and helpful. Wine order was missed, as they were busy, so reordered. Food was excellent. The Fish Cioppino was described as " so good it makes me want to cry!" My red snapper (fish of the day was very good. Starter od soft shell crab was tasty too. Wine is expensive, but it is everywhere on Barbados.
