GENERAL STORE RAILYARD 秋葉原

Small but mighty! This little store has SOOOOO MANY amazing train themed things. They have magnets of almost every stop on the Yamanote Line - train replicas - train station pens, paper, magnets, toys, keychains, glasses cleaning cloths, SOOO MANY THINGS!! All the things! Absolutely a great place to get souvenirs. Don't skip this adorable store!

Packed during peak hours, but that should've been expected on a weekend. Stuff sells out quick so be here as early as you can. Staff is really helpful and constantly organizing shelves. There was also a limited edition line of products there.

This is a cool store just like the Tokyo station store I visited back in Jan. However the merchandises are different between the 2 stores and imo this store has much more variety than Tokyo station. Perhaps it was the rain that deter visitors. I’m the only customer about 7+pm and it can be quite hard to find as it’s tucked at a corner but I’m happy to get the melody keychain I wanted.

An extremely rude staff, completely unlike the polite Japanese people you'd expect, I don’t think he deserves this job, he totally ruined my Tokyo memories. I even saw him took the ¥100 from Gashapon, you’d better already gave it back to company👎🏼 The shop itself is cute, but the space is too small. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip there; it's okay if you're just passing by.

Quaint store with iconic train memorabilia. Along with other reviewers, we really struggled to find the store as it is not where originally labelled on Maps. Unfortunately, can't remember the directions we ultimately took to muddle through to the right spot but other reviews helped.

Be careful when planning to visit this store. Google Map didn't point you at the correct location. It is near Showa-dori Gate, and not as those pointed out at Google Map at the moment I dropped this comment. After all, this is a good store to visit!

Very cool store for Japanese train enthusiasts such as myself. However it was very small and quite cramped with many people in there. They had a lot of merch of the Suika penguin which I was happy about. There was a good range of products however the station song playing keychains that I came for were sold out, so don’t get your hopes up for them being there. The store is in akihabara station itself, but the google maps directions sent me around in circles several times trying to find it. The shop also had some train related gacha machines with some pretty good quality stuff.
