Museum Restaurant

It's located in a very touristy area, almost at the entrance to the Vatican Museums. But it's not touristy at all. It's incredibly warm, welcoming, and homey. The owners are very nice and greet guests, explaining everything on the menu. We placed our order, took one pizza, one pasta, and two glasses of wine. When we finished the wine, they immediately poured us more as a gift. At the beginning, they brought bruschetta with tomatoes as a compliment, and at the end, dessert and limoncello were also free. Amazing Italian hospitality. And most importantly, the bill was only €30. Earlier that day, we bought a bun and a cappuccino for €20 in the Vatican Museums garden, and here we had a real feast for only €30. But more importantly, there is a real homely atmosphere here. Everyone is incredibly cheerful and kind, which, to be honest, is not something you often find in restaurants near tourist attractions. We didn't want to leave. A delightful place.

Food here are delicuous! The owner is very warm and welcoming, no wonder his restaurant always full with diners compare to other restaurant in neighboorhood. And he is so generous, gave us a dessert as compliment. The second time we eat there, he gave us 2 portion side dish for free. Price is reasonable and could say cheap, consider their location is like 200m from Museum Vatican - very strategic location

Super friendly staff! The carbonara was pretty good, I like the seasoning but not the best spaghetti. Amatriciana pasta was pretty average, I feel like its something I would be able to make at home with pasta sauce. 5 stars for welcoming and friendly staff. Enjoyed the atmosphere here!

Superb. Fun place to have a delicious Italian meal. Friendly staff, generous servings. The owner has so much passion and pride in his job. A special lunch we will remember for a long time. His sister is an amazing cook and hostess too. Lasagna, sausage and potato recommend 😋

We came just before closing after spending the whole morning in the Musei Vaticani. Julio and his team were just such an amazing host, even though the pizzas and tiramisu were finished, they made up for it with some tapas. We had a great time and definitely recommend. Portions were huge and everything was delicious. Even though they keep saying the tapas and dessert are on them, at the end you pay for everything. We just ordered ourselves 2 pasta plates and 1 pizza, and ended up paying 100€, which we did happily as it was all delicious and we had such a great time!

까르보나라 너무 맛있고 주인 아주머니랑 아저씨 너무 친절하시고 서비스라고 계속 사이드 요리랑 디저트로 먹으라고 포도까지 주셨음! We came here just before going into Vatican, honestly didn’t expect a lot in the beginning since it’s really nearby Vatican (tourist attraction), but coming to this restaurant was the best decision we’ve made for this trip! We went in the morning, but the inside was fully reserved so they’ve set outside tables for us! While waiting, there were so many people coming by to say hello to the owner, (including priest!) and the service was very quick, the food came out less than 10min of ordering. And when we were having food, they kept on giving us some food like side vegetables or grapes for dessert as ‘present’, which was lovely! After food, the lady recommended us to have a coffee and we said sure, then she recommended us to share one instead of ordering two! (Which I appreciate a lot cause we were really full from all the ‘present’ they got us). The price is really cheap but the food was great. And people were so lovely !

True Italian dining experience. The thousands of positive reviews met my expectations. Service was very friendly and they really tried to make things fun with some passionate arguments (aka discussions) in the kitchen and greeting all customers with the same energy. Food was super tasty and well priced considering it’s located right near the entry to the Vatican Museums.

Fun family feeling atmosphere. Service was prompt and welcoming. It felt like we had the authentic Italian food experience.
