Initially, I placed a call to order flowers intended for delivery on Saturday or Sunday during Mother’s Day weekend. I am uncertain whether the representative had difficulty understanding English or was simply inexperienced, but I spent 45 minutes on the phone repeating my order multiple times before ultimately hanging up and opting to order online instead. The flowers arrived on Friday, which was not my preference, as I specifically requested delivery for Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, the presentation was disappointing; the flowers appeared carelessly arranged in the vase, failing to resemble the online display. Some flowers were wilting, others were dead, and the succulent that was meant to be centered was instead placed at the bottom. I cannot recommend this service. I understand the challenges of Mother’s Day weekend delivery, but the presentation was unacceptable. The first image shows the arrangement I expected based on the online photo, while the second image depicts the result after my mother-in-law attempted to rearrange them due to their poor appearance.

I ordered flowers for a specific occasion with guaranteed delivery on May 9th. They arrived a full day late, after the occasion had passed — and only after I pushed for a refund through customer support. Even worse, the arrangement looked NOTHING like the photo: wilted flowers, sloppy presentation, and definitely not worth the price. Support initially offered just 50% off for the delay, despite the order being useless. Only when I mentioned PayPal dispute and attached the full chat transcript did they issue a full refund. I'm a ProPerks member and have ordered before, but after this experience? Never again. Photos attached so you can see the reality vs. the promo images.

The photo with the sunflowers is what I ordered WELL IN ADVANCE for Mother's Day. And the other two photos are what showed up. I called customer service and they could not offer timely replacement flowers. I'm waiting for email confirmation of a full refund and will be calling back to follow up. So disappointing. 1/5 flowers in the original website photo are what showed up.

When I called customer service to complain, they asked me how dead were the flowers, and asked if I would like 30% my next order. I ended up having to tell them that I wanted my money back, and that I’ll never order from this company ever again.

Terrible company. Ordered Mother’s Day flowers, received email they were delivered. Checked in with my mom and nothing! I called the company who was willing to give a 30% refund. 30% on an $100 order that was never received. After complaining he kept raising the refund by 10% until I demanded a full refund or to resend the order. Stick to your local florist because this company is a joke. Customer service guy could hardly speak English, which is a pain since we are in America.

The worst…I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and while I received an email they were delivered, they were in fact never delivered. I had to call “customer service” twice, which is a call center with heavy background noise, a lag, and extremely thick accents. The first time I called, the customer service rep said the email was an error and they guaranteed the delivery would be by 6pm the next day. It obviously was not since I’m reading this review. The second time I called, they said that they would “redeliver” the flowers a day after Mother’s Day. I said that doesn’t work so they told me they would put a credit on my account I asked for a refund which they did give me (takes 3-5 days). So now I have to try to find a nice bouquet of flowers on Mother’s Day. Cheers

Maybe some have had a good experience but I did not. Ordered flowers and berries for my daughters 18th two to three weeks in advance. Day of the delivery they deliver to the incorrect address. I call customer service and they say a mistake was made, which is understandable, and then they offer 20% off and a delivery the next day. My first thought was 20% doesn’t even cover the $19.99 delivery fee, they then say 30%, which I was good with. Come to find out the 30% is not off the entire order but only the bouquet, a very sneaky tactic they use and not customer friendly. They then send an email after that stating they can’t find a local florist and give me a full refund. Would not recommend this company to anyone, for any special occasion, where they actually want something delivered to someone

I purchased two bouquets for Mother’s Day arrival on Saturday or Sunday and they weren’t delivered. I then tried to resolve and the best their lack of “customer service” could offer was a discount and delivery by Tuesday AFTER Mother’s Day. They DID NOT arrive on Tuesday either. They then tried to insult me with a Wednesday delivery AFTER Mother’s Day. This company used to be good but they are complete TRASH now. Do not use they do not value their customers AT ALL.

Not happy. I was supposed to have gotten the "exquisite bouquet" for my mother in laws birthday. While the bouquet sent was beautiful it was way smaller than the one pictured and the flowers were completely different. ​

I ordered a beautiful bouquet for my mother's birthday. The flowers arrived a day late, and in absolutely terrible condition. When I called to request a refund, they were willing to resend the flowers, but no refund (even partial) was offered. I'm sorry... I spent $80 so that my mom would have nice flowers on her birthday. You failed to deliver anything on her actual birthday, and then what you did ultimately provided was in such poor condition it went right into the trash. This is unacceptable customer service, and I will never order from this company again.

3 days beforehand I ordered a bouquet for my wife's birthday which is today. Last night got notification that it will be delivered in Houston tomorrow. I contacted customer service and got this snarky response: "Thank you for your reply. Once again, please accept our most sincere apologies for the disappointment with your order. Your order is scheduled to be re-delivered on July 18th. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to resolve this issue, and feel free to contact us if we can be of further assistance." They shipped from Dallas which is more than 200 miles away, why not from somewhere here in Houston and what made them ignore the requested delivery date? I will NEVER use them again!

I fo not know which florist in Kentucky shipped this piece of garbage to me in upstate NY for Mother's Day, this is a review of ftd.com. Shipped upside down!! Address label put on bottom of box! Pathetic flowers- none opened. Buds browning, leaves drooping and falling off. I will let the sender know in a day or two. But DO NOT USE FTD.com, unless you want to be embarrassed and make the recipient cry - NOT happy tears.

Flowers were delivered to me and 1/2 dead, brown, sent a 2nd shipment of same flowers and 2nd day they were brown! The fruit basket had 4 pieces of molded fruit. Flowers were shipped UPS lol to FL in 95 degree heat. Fruit was NOT on dry ice either! They are reshipping fruit hopefully will not be molded too. Zero stars if I could. Flowers were beautiful, customer service is a joke. I got an email after I placed my order stating they weren't going to send the order until I talked to them. I called, and answered the same questions repeatedly, all of which were on the order form I'd filled out. After they were satisfied, I emailed customer service merely wondering why I'd had to call, and received a nasty response saying I had to call (I'd already done so), and any further emails would be rejected until the order was delivered. I mentioned on the survey they emailed me later on I had an unresolved issue, and clicked on the place to give them permission to contact me, and provided me contact info. I never heard a word.

Ordered birthday flowers with a ten day head start. The arrangement wasn't delivered on the day I requested. They rescheduled for the next day and they weren't delivered that day either. They wanted to reschedule again for a third attempt but I requested a refund instead. They grudgingly agreed to a refund. Don't use FTD for flowers. Call a local florist directly instead. You will get better results.

I wish I had read the reviews of this place, before giving them my money. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Will never order here again and will write a review on every platform. It is such a disappointment, that this business has such horrible customer service. Ordered it on 5/9 and was suppose to be delivered on 5/10. Today is 5/11. I did not get any update on the delivery status. I checked myself this morning and it didn't say anything. My husband had to call the company and get us a refund. I'm more sad, that my friends who were to receive the flowers, never got to feel loved on there day.

Never again will I patronize FTD. They fraudulently advertise online as a local florist and then divert the order to some unnamed florist. They will not provide you the name of the florist so you can follow up on the order. Don't do it. Carefully check to make sure you are selecting the website of the actual local florist where you want to place your order.

My flowers cost $118 with delivery. This is a boquet that I could have gotten for $50 or $60 locally. They are pretty but for the cost I feel ripped off. The boquet is small and very unimpressive. Won't order through FTD again.

On mothers day, I get an email saying that my order has been cancelled. This place is an absolute joke.

Used FTD Florist for a funeral arrangement. It was the With Grace Bouquet-Deluxe. It was pretty when I saw it at the funeral home but I ordered the deluxe and paid over $100 for the fuller bouquet. It barely had any flowers in it. I was disappointed to say the least. It barely had what they show for the basic. Lesson learned never again. I don't mind paying but I want what I was expecting to see. It was sad.

I figured that I would be smart and order an anniversary bouquet early as a surprise for my wife at her work. On the day of our anniversary, I received a note (via email) that my $120 plus order had arrived and was signed for. Being an idiot and figuring she had them on her desk, I asked my wife (via phone) how she liked her bouquet... whoops, surprise, they weren't there. My fault, I guess I should have known that FTD sent out arrival receipts before the recipient actually received the flowers. The arrival note had literally ruined the surprise. Obviously upset, I called customer service, which of course, was farmed out overseas with a heavy accent et al. Honestly, this always leaves me feeling like these companies just don't care to handle their own customer service issues. Anyways, after trying hard to understand the rep, I asked for a supervisor, which had an even worse accent. Of course, she kindly apologized and told me the flowers would arrive sometime before 5pm. I had called at around noon, and couldn't imagine making my wife wait in anticipation for something to arrive... so i insisted they make things right by giving me an exact time. Supervisor finally agreed, called the florist and promised to have them there within an hour. Although close, it didn't happen on time and the flowers looked like they were yesterdays. No delivery refund was offered. Flowers are personal and most often sent during sensitive occasions. You would think that FTD and their contracted "local florist" would understand. Not so. Therefore, I can not in good conscience recommend FTD or any of their florist affiliates.

Absolutely disgusted with my order! My boyfriend is absolutely the sweetest and sent me an expensive bouquet of flowers from FTD and was super excited for me to open them. I received the flowers and opened the box to find they were standing up upside down for some time. Ok whatever, mistakes happen. I took them out of the wrapper and ALL the flowers were severely wilted, half the stems were rotten with a horrid smell, and the box was infested with gnats! Stay local, this place is trash!!!

Apparently delivery of FTD flowers is optional for the florist. The flowers just don't arrive and their only remedy is to say sorry and send it eventually. But you have to sit on hold and wait to speak to a representative for that to happen. Beware that they also own FromYouFlowers and flowers never arrived from them either, their service is just as horrible.

Service - They do not speak English, no matter how many times you ask to speak to a rep that speaks clear unbroken English. No one I our office could understand their reps. What I ordered is NOT what was delivered, see picture below. It was supposed to be a Christmasy festive arrangement, it was not. Paid $90+ for the Deluxe arrangement and what was delivered was more like a $15 Walmart arrangement. No value to this. FTD reps have called to address this but can't seem to find someone that speaks clear English.

Ordered a large spray for an out of state funeral. Paid over $200 for it. Received an email it had been delivered. What they didn't know is i flew to the funeral and was on-site to see they clearly never delivered the flowers. I called customer service and they requested to speak to the funeral director. They confirmed no delivery. I was furious. How horrible. Imagine if I had stayed home thinking my flowers had been delivered when they never where. They said they might be able to still deliver. I gave them a 2 hour window. No flowers ever arrived. The next day I called customer service and they did give me a full refund. I asked which florist contracted to deliver my flowers they said they could not tell me. When I said I wanted to submit a formal complaint against this florist he hung up on me. I am glad I got my money back but it seems pretty unethical to me. This all happened in a small town in Texas with one funeral home. It makes me wonder if they took my money and never had a contracted florist in this area and figured since I live in California I would never know. And grieving families don't always know who or what flowers were sent. Never again.

I ordered an upgraded flower arrangement to be delivered to Bend, OR. today for $104.99. My daughter-in-law sent me a photo of the flowers she received. There were not the flowers that I ordered from the FTD website. It appears that several flowers were missing. I contacted FTD's online customer service. They only wanted to refund me 30% of my total costs. I informed them that what I really needed was for them to make this right and redeliver the "correct flower" arrangement that I bought. I sent them photos of the flowers as advertised on the FTD website and the arrangement my daughter-in-law received. Looking at both photos it was clear that there was a large discrepancy between what was advertised versus what was delivered. They responded with the the same phrase - to refund me 30% with no further communication on my request. Won't be using FTD again - lesson learned!

They don't even deserve 1 star. My Loved one passed away, which is one of the hardest things to deal with. I told my parents that I would order the flowers from our family, for the visitation and the funeral. As soon as we received the date and location, I placed the order for the flowers (At least 5 days in advance). The service was starting Saturday at 10am. The flowers were setup to be delivered on Friday, this way we knew they would be there on time for the service. Saturday morning, I receive an email at 7:14am stating that they are sorry but they couldn't find a local florist to make the arrangements. Are you kidding me?? Why in the world would you wait until a couple hours before the funeral starts to EMAIL ME, why wouldn't you CALL ME? They obviously knew the flowers weren't coming on the 6th, which was the delivery date, but they wait until the 7th to email, and not call me directly to avoid this huge screw up. Then to top it off, they acted like it wasn't a big deal. They kept saying "we can just send them to the house after we find a florist". How dare them act like this can be fixed by sending the arrangement days later and missing the funeral. This can't be fixed. Not only are we dealing with a tremendous loss, and incredible sadness, we have to deal with telling our family "so sorry the flowers didn't make it". After all the crap they put our family through, they refused to refund the full purchase amount. They only gave me back $60, which made no sense at all. After contacting my bank and submitting the emails, I finally received the purchase amount. During the conversation with my bank, they brought up the point that the charge was put through on June 7th, and posted on the 9th. With everything going on, I didn't pay attention to the date, just wanted to see if I was charged. So considering the flowers were ordered on June 1st, and not delivered on June 6th, why do they think they have the right to charge my card on June 7th, when they never even made the arrangements. After reading several other recent reviews, I'm surprised this place is still in business. I'm not trying to take away the importance of receiving flowers on time for other events and special days, but missing a funeral service is completely unforgivable.

In a recent order, I chose and paid for Same Day Delivery only to receive an email later in the day starting that the delivery was rescheduled for the next day. I did not receive a refund for the extra $$ spent on the Same Day Delivery fee. I also filled out a note card with a message to the recipient, which was never included in the flowers - so the recipient had no idea who they were from. Next time, I'll just stick with 1-800-Flowers where I've never had this experience.

The next day...same excuse. Their customer service is bad and they can apparently accept orders but getting the order actually delivered seems to be a problem. Trash company. I placed an order on 2/9 to be delivered on 2/14. Paid $25 for Valentine's Day shipping. They sat on the order until late in the day on 2/13 when they finally had it ready for UPS. UPS tracking is now showing that it will be delivered on 2/15...FTD is of course not taking any responsibility and is placing all the blame on UPS ("they must have high volume today, sir"). What a joke. FTD had one job and still failed. Never again.

WOW! Just WOW! I ordered flowers which were said to be delivered on 3/17 for my wife's birthday. The day past and no flowers and no communication. I spoke with customer service on the 18th and they said they would be delivered on the 18th. I was given a small refund. Guess what? No flowers again. I am appalled by the lack of communication. A simple email saying nobody can deliver in the area, would have been just fine. What happened to customer service? Booooo!

Then when I complained, they offered to refund me 1/3 of the price. I told them I was willing to forgo the shipping & tax but they have to give back the product cost since it was not what I ordered. Never heard from them again. Should have done a quick background check before I ordered.

If I could give them less than a 1 star I would. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered to my sister in PA for the ridiculous price of $75.43!! But it was special so I paid. The amount was immediately deducted from my bank account, but the item was never delivered. I contacted customer service 7 times and just got the run around. They kept asking for the same information over and over. I tried using chat also and they were even worse!! At one point they just stopped talking to me with no explanation. Needless to say, I'll never order from them again, now I just want a refund!

Called Tuesday evening to complain and the operator could not speak understandable english or understand what I was saying. Wednesday it was promised to be delivered...it wasn't so I called again at 5pm and they promised ot deliver the next day bu NOON. I get an email at 8pm on Wednesday saying they were deliverd to my wife work....that was impossible as they closed at 5pm. I called Thurday rather upset and demanded a refund as they were now lying about delivering the flower arrangement. AVOID FTD at all costs!

They asked me to call their customer service 800-Number. I cant magically teleport into the States for making the call and then teleport back to my country. No other form of communication was good enough. I will dispute the payment on my credit card.

I ordered 20 peonies.  I received 10 wilted peonies.  I was offered a 30% discount.  I declined and they offered 50% off.  I was using the bouquet to test a tablescape, so they offered to resend.  When they resent, they sent 9 out of the 20 peonies.  They again offered a 30% discount and I declined.  They offered a 50% discount and I declined.  They finally transferred me to a manager.  She spent 5 minutes verifying information.  I explained the situation - less than half of the stems were sent. She told me she had to track the order and put me on hold for a few minutes.  She came back and said the peonies would take a few days to bloom because they were delivered by UPS.  She clearly was not listening to anything that I told her.  After being on the phone for a half hour I was refunded.

I have looked at several different sites about ftd reviews. They all rate them a 1. I ordered a valentines bouquet which was supposed to be delivered Val. Day, Friday 2025. Saturday Sunday, nothing until I was told they could be delivered Tuesday if I still wanted them. I said yes but on Tuesday they informed me that there would be no delivery and to find another florist. Who does that ? I actually created the order so quickly that I thought I had picked another florist. I never would have picked ftd intentionally.

I ordered flowers for an important birthday. They canceled the order without trying to call me. The payment cleared my bank. They refunded. I find this out on the eve of the birthday. Too late to get the order reinstated and I don't even want to. The employees speak such horridly accented English I can't even understand them, then they talk so fast and won't slow down. I have no idea why the order was cancelled. The email did not say what the problem was. I was so furious because I really wanted the item I ordered. So they ruined a benchmark birthday. I won't call them again and I will repost this story on every review site I can find.

Ordered some flowers for same day delivery for my sick granddaughter. I got a voice mail from someone that barely spoke English and said something about my order for "next week". I called back and talked to another person that barely spoke English and they said that the computer was down and they didn't know why they had called me. Later, I got an email stating that the order would be delivered the next day even though I paid for same day delivery. They refunded $5 of the $20 same day delivery fee! Had I known this wasn't going to happen same day, I would have just stopped at a local florist after work, paid half as much as FTD charged, and delivered it the same day myself. Never again FTD!

Bait and Switch. This was the second time I've ordered from FTD and the arrangement wasn't what I ordered. Both times the flowers were cheaper and a smaller arrangement with the wrong vase/box. This second time I paid for same day delivery and actually received an email they were delivered but were not delivered until the following day. I had to beg to get same day delivery fee reimbursed and they offered 1/2 price reimbursement but policy says full reimbursement. They don't care that what you order is not delivered. I will never use them again.

Do not recommend this service. I am extremely disappointed with FTD, I placed my order a day ahead of time and the delivery never showed up even though the online tracking said it was delivered. this was a business delivery and I was told the delivery was made at 7:56 PM which was 3 hours after closing and there was nobody there. I am not in the habit of paying over 100 dollars and not have ANYTHING to show for it Basically in a nut shell I was SCAMMED by this so called company and I will NEVER use FTD EVER AGAIN.
