Stayed here recently, was in a great location with a couple minutes walk to the metro station. I loved the self check in option was quick and easy! There was staff members also around during this time. I spoke with a couple of them during my stay and they were so friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous and had all we needed. I would happily stay here again!

This hotel was a huge surprise to us in the very best way. We took a rideshare from the train station to the hotel, and it seemed we were headed out of the city and far away from the downtown core, but that was not the case. The subway is right next door, and it's only 6 stops from the train station in a straight line without transferring. The rooms were really well appointed, spacious and clean. If you like the Jetsons, you will love the high tech features of this hotel. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet. I missed the continental breakfast, but spoke to people who loved it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The only downfall is that there is not much around the hotel with several areas being developed. Since the hotel does not have a designated restaurant you are given the choice to go to the privately owned restaurant on the top floor of the hotel which requests a dress code. There are not many choices around the property unless you like MacDonalds. A pool and gym would have been nice since there are none. I highly recommend this hotel, and can't wait to see how the area improves in the next years. Well worth making a reservation without the high downtown prices.

Decent stay, but housekeeping needs improvement I recently stayed on the 15th floor of this hotel in Amsterdam. Overall, stay was okay - the location is convenient, with a McDonald's right across the street and easy access to the city. However, the housekeeping experience could definitely be better. I had to request room cleaning almost every day, as it wasn’t done consistently. Small things like replacing dirty cups or refreshing basic amenities were often missed, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Apart from that, the room itself was fine and the surroundings were nice. With a bit more attention to housekeeping, this hotel could offer a much smoother experience.

I stayed at Ruby Emma Hotel & Bar in Amsterdam and had such a great experience. The bedroom was modern yet cozy, perfectly designed for comfort while still feeling stylish. The lobby had a chic and welcoming vibe that set the tone as soon as I arrived. What really stood out for me was the breakfast buffet — super diverse with so many options to choose from, definitely the highlight of my stay. Overall, a beautiful hotel with great attention to detail and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I recently had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Ruby Emma Hotel in Amsterdam. While the hotel is a little out of the central area, this wasn’t an issue at all. The metro station is right next door, making it incredibly easy to get into the city centre in about 20 minutes. The rooms were absolutely fabulous, with a stylish, modern aesthetic and extremely comfortable beds. The shower was a particular highlight - it was gigantic. The room had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We also had a drink in the hotel bar, which was excellent, though we didn't get to try the breakfast as we were out and about early each day. The service was brilliant from the moment we arrived; the receptionist was so friendly and helpful, assisting us with a booking query and even allowing us to check into our room a little early. Overall, the whole stay was faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ruby Emma Hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Absolutely stunning hotel, very easy check in and out system, great location a mcdonald’s opposite which is good for munchies, only downside is there was no kettle or drink options in the room/no room service(had to go down in my pjs for my morning coffee). lovely and helpful staff would defo recommend to a friend❤️

Nice hotel, shame you can’t eat your own food in the common area of the lobby. Told off like school children by the bar staff for doing so. No policy or agreement could be produced, just forced to eat in our rooms our outside. We tried to reason with the staff, noting that there were therefore no common areas available to us. They were weirdly committed to a nonexistent rule, even when we had spent almost 3000 euros there.

The hotel was nice, and there was very little noise, which I appreciated. One thing I found a bit unusual was the elevator system. Instead of standard buttons inside the elevator, there was a screen instead. It was confusing at first, and I think the hotel staff could do a better job of explaining how it works when guests check in. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Yelp
I'm so happy I booked the QO Amsterdam for our final night before traveling home. I was able to get a room with IHG points plus $70, which was a pretty great deal. The hotel is located a bit closer to the airport than where we stayed previously in the city center, which was my reason for booking at this location. This definitely saved us time with getting to the airport for our early flight. We arrived in the evening and received an upgrade due to my IHG membership. Our room was spacious and very smartly designed. There were two different types of scented bath products, plenty of space to store everything, thoughtful touches like combs and nail files, slippers and more. Everything electronic is controlled by an iPad, which is cool but comes with a learning curve. I did appreciate the many options for lighting, including around the mirrors. Very helpful for getting ready! After enjoying some drinks at the gorgeous 21st floor bar, Juniper & Kin, we made our way back to the room to relax. The (huge!) TVs can be linked with a Netflix account, so we settled in for some binge-watching and ordered room service (via the iPod, naturally). The room service menu could use some work; there weren't many options. Our order of a burger, chicken blt and fries arrived fairly quickly, but I soon discovered that my sandwich (the chicken) wasn't up to par. I reached the room service line to request a swap and this was handled fairly quickly. The burger was a little unconventional but tasty, and the fries were great. Later, when I put the tray outside the room, I selected the option on the iPad to have our tray picked up. A short time later, we received a call from guest services asking if the tray had been picked up. Huh? I thought the whole point of this iPad option was to eliminate a call. The woman waited while my husband went to the hallway to check. Nope, the tray was still there. A little later (now after 10pm), we received yet another call from the same woman again asking if the tray had been picked up. At this point, we were pretty annoyed. No one should be calling a guest room after 9pm, period. Overall, the hotel itself was really wonderful and I'm looking forward to seeing if the QO gets rolled out elsewhere. If there's a way to opt-out of in-room calls, I'd like that as well.

Yelp
We stayed at the QO for 4 nights and found the service top notch. The technology was top of the line. Unlimited water and sparkling water in the room was a nice touch. Everyone who worked in the hotel was warm and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
Worst hotel/ customer service ever!!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT WE DID! We had confirmed reservation from IHG Hotel & QO Hotel changed the rate and did not notify us when checking and they charge different rate! We paid Breakfast in advance specifically asked the front desk person in case we don't utilize it. They said there would be no charge, we used Breakfast for one day, and they charged with 280 Euros four days on my credit card when call hotel extremely unprofessional and never credited my card! The Worst hotel/customer service ever!!! Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing!!! Stopped through Amsterdam during a European vacation w/ family and stayed at QO. It was such a wonderful, relaxing hotel and was really just the comfort we needed in the middle of a long tour. Amazing staff, amazing rooms with the most comfortable hotel beds you can imagine. The decor is so beautiful and modern and we just loved the environmentally friendly Zen atmosphere. If you're in Amsterdam this hotel is where you MUST stay!!
