Lovely historical building in a central location. The rooms could really do with some redecorating, as it seems like nothing has been updated in decades, but they are very large, clean and have a nice small inner courtyard if you get one of the rooms downstairs.
The hotel’s courtyard is centred around a pool, and very pretty. It is quiet, and the front desk staff were helpful. Breakfast was not included in our case, and it’s a shame that they made us pay even for some hot water. The food we bought from them on one of the mornings was not great, so ultimately we were happy to go elsewhere for breakfast.
All in all there is a shell of a lovely place, it just needs an uplift in order to become a real gem. The price they charge is right for what you currently get, I would recommend staying here if ever in Valladolid.
