On the Grid : The Gramophone

"The Gramaphone is a laid back bar/eatery that transitioned from a live music venue to a neighborhood hangout, which now serves some of the best sandwiches in St. Louis. The Mississippi Club is one of the best, and even better with a pint of local St. Louis beer. Such a great vibe and great sandwiches. Do not skip the Mac & cheese, it’s the best! Half (4 inch) and full size (8 inch) sandwiches available. We recommend the Italian yardbird and Enzo Gorlomi, but all of the sandwiches are spectacular. 10/10 for easy grab & go lunch or late night snack.

Google
Drove 40 minutes to try this restaurant and i wasn't disappointed. Had the Chicka Chika Pram Pram. (Chicken parmesan sandwich) The sandwich was tasty My wife had the Ruben which she enjoyed. Its an order and find a table type place which is fine for me. Its located in the Grove and has a eclectic alternative vibe .Great beer selection .

Google
This place was recommended to me by a handful of friends, and it did NOT disappoint! I had the Frenchy and Homemade Mac n Cheese - both were VERY delicious! 😋 A half sandwich was enough to fill up little ole me, so proceed with caution. You do order from the bar, so don't make the same mistake I did and wait for someone to come to the table🤣 Otherwise, super clean, super friendly staff, and super speedy getting orders out of the kitchen! Highly recommend you give it a try!

Google
On a whim, I Google searched, sandwich shops in st Louis and this was the second search result. The pictures sent me here. We were not disappointed. We brought a 4 top on a Sunday afternoon on Labor day weekend. We each got different meals. •My 10 year old got the 1/2 meatball sub. It had two large meatballs that seemed to be hand made with marinara and lots of cheese. Tasted great. Her only problem was, she ate her entire bowl of mashed potatoes first and the sauce had made the bread a little soggy and she couldn't eat the whole sandwich. But still ate the meatballs. •My 17 year old got the 1/2 Danimal. Which seems to be their take on a Dagwood. Big ole stack of all the meats and toppings. It was an impressively thick sandwich of turkey, ham, roast beef, salami, and bacon with toppings on a whole grain toast I believe, loaded with flavor and definitely filling. She was not able to finish. •My girlfriend got the 1/2 Italian Yardbird. It's like a mushroom chicken Alfredo on a baguette. She said the Alfredo flavor wasn't overwhelming but overall the sandwich was delicious. Lots of cheese and mushrooms and the chicken was cooked just right. •I decided to get the Mississippi Nights Club. Partly because I'm nastolgic for the old Mississippi nights on the landing, but also because I'm a sucker for a good club sandwich! And this one was delicious! I got the full sized. It comes with turkey, roast beef, and bacon, lettuce and tomato, chips and cheese and a spicy red pepper sauce. I actually decided to swap the sauce for their avocado spread although I am interested to know how this spicy red pepper sauce tastes. •Sides •Mac and cheese My teenager got this and I tried a bite. It was large bowl, very cheesy and used real cheeses. They also load all their sides with bacon bits and broken up potato chips. She ate some Mac and cheese first thing and then went to the sandwich, then went back to more Mac and cheese and said it was definitely better when it was still hot. But all the stuff is that way I suppose. •Loaded Mashed potatoes Two of us ordered this. From what I could tell, completely from scratch home-made style mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. Cheese, real bacon all over it, big scoop of sour cream on the side. Still lumpy with chunks of potato in it because it's made from scratch •Jalapeno popper soup It had excellent flavour, but as a stand alone soup, it was just a creamy liquid. Not much going on with it. But, the guy ringing up my order, advised me to dip my sandwich in it, and HOLY COW!! Game changer. Get the jalapeno popper soup and dip your sandwich in it. Trust me here. It isn't overwhelmingly spicy. Just flavorful.

Google
We we're looking for something good in the area that was affordable, and this place blew our minds. The sandwiches we're Delicious, the Mac and Cheese was perfect and their Jalapeño Popper Soup was to die for. Plus their wide selection of drinks helped us have a perfect night!

Google
After years away the sandwiches of The Gramophone have only gotten better. With prices that let you mix and match plus late night hours this is a must stop late night option. The food is richer and more Panini driven than I remember, the atmosphere is loud but you have multiple seating style options and a great back patio. The service is helpful and quick and they designed it to require little interaction aside from needing to make it clear that you seat yourself and order at the bar. All in all really good.

Google
Recently, MJ and I went with some family members to try out this place. Her son-in-law recommend it. The food was good. However, you do have to go to a counter to place your order. It is kind of a bar environment. Lively with a lot of people and live entertainment. Kind of loud. It is worth trying out.

It was a good first experience. Cool atmosphere. Craft beer was good Bathroom decor unique.

Yelp
I just moved back to STL and as soon as I had the chance to hit up this place, I was there, baby! The sandwiches are always top notch, I had a Love Gun beverage which was soooooOOooo good, and the atmosphere was full of greatness! I went on a cold night and sat near the door, which was not the best choice as it seems no one but the staff know how to close the door! But still totally worth it. Can't wait to take some friends because this place is always a bragging point.

Yelp
Our work ordered from here for lunch. I got the Italian yardbird, and it was delicious! Toasted bread was nice and not dried out. Fillings tasted fresh and wasn't overboard with sauce. Looking forward to having more soon!

Yelp
Had a great time with the fun music and bingo although we just ate at the bar, the vibe was great. Order at the counter and get a number, take a seat. Since it was so busy we were only able to snag 2 seats at the bar, lucky for us! The bartender was great, I had a few samples of draft before picking the Piney River Black Walnut. Very smooth. He was knowledgeable and very nice. Our food came out quickly, The clam chowder was just the right size and came with oyster crackers on top. It was good, a nice choice on a super chilly night. I decided on the half size Enzo Gorlomi minus the cheese. It was warm on a toasted sesame seed baguette. It was STUFFED with ingredients. So much flavor, a little kick of heat with the spicy giardiniera. So good! I have been here several time and tried a few sandwiches, each one better than that last!

Yelp
10/10! Amazing sandwich I have to get this exact recipe it's soooo good! This place is often pretty busy. They have a bar and seating area. They're also open a little later daily until 130 am. Great for late nights. I'm always greeted and helped immediately. There is street and parking lot parking available. The sandwich itself was very flavorful and you can swap out ingredients and bread as you see fit. Recommended.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite sandwich places in St. Louis! There is so much variety on the sandwich menu and they always have specials. My favorite is the BBLT because it's a classic but the sauce they add is a little spicy, creamy and delicious. I've tried so many other sandwiches and they are all really good! Their mac and cheese and jalapeño popper soup are also pretty good! They also have a good variety of beer and other drinks. Service is always good despite it being busy. They also sometimes have music and bingo. The patio in the back is super nice when it's warmer outside and the inside has a fun vibe too! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
I was completely blown away and never saw it coming. The Gramophone's sandwiches are some of the best I've had in my life. The location is The Grove neighborhood of Saint Louis. Parking is by nearby paid lot, or off street paid meter. The day I parked the lot had security. Signage is good. My son and I arrived on a weekday around 11:15 to a small line. But later a line to the door after we ordered at the bar. Paper menus are plentiful. There is a lot to choose from on the menu, so knowing the selections in advance is a good idea. You can go to their website. The tap beer variety is very large with locals. They also have local fountain sodas. Staff were friendly and helpful on confirming choices. I went with a roast beef, can't recall its name. Prices seem fair with today's pricing. You can tip on the machine. Gramophone is in an old three story building that's in great condition. The atmosphere is ideal, like saloon. High ceilings, wood floors, bar and even live music. Decor is music related. They have a pinball machine in a corner. Patio seating is in the rear. My son and I split lunch they are large. We absolutely loved our hot roast beef and cheese sandwich. I have no idea how it taste so good, but it's not ordinary by any stretch. I want to return next time in town. Gramophone is one of my top casuals in Saint Louis.

Yelp
The Gramophone, is a must-visit spot for sandwich lovers and late-night diners. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and quirky charm, this venue serves up an inventive and ever-changing menu of gourmet sandwiches with fresh and unique ingredients. Favorites include the "South Austin Melt" and the "Mississippi Nights Club," (the veggie version may be better than the original) showcasing bold flavors and creative combinations. Open late most nights, The Gramophone also offers an impressive drink selection, making it a favorite for both casual bites and nights out. Whether you're exploring their signature sandwiches or enjoying live DJs & music, it's an unforgettable spot in St. Louis dining.

Yelp
The service is at the counter, but the man we spoke with offered good suggestions and was very friendly. The food was delicious! French dip and chicken bacon ranch - both excellent. The sides were equally tasty - Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We enjoyed the patio because it was beautiful weather and lots of space. The inside had live music and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Yelp
I have heard nothing but great things about this place so I was excited to finally try it out! If you're looking for a chill place to grab a great sandwich and drink, you have found the place! They have a great selection of food and drinks for any pallet. The seating is limited, but the vibes are great and the people are friendly. I was a little off put by the 45-minute wait it did take to finally get our sandwiches, but it was worth it in the end. I will be back to try this place out again though! There were many other sandwiches I wanted to give a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. I always come late night for a sandwich and they never disappoints! The service is quick as always. They sometimes have live music there which is nice but at times it can get a bit loud. My favorites has to the Mississippi Nights club and the jive! You also can leave without grabbing the homemade mac n cheese
google avatar

Yelp
I went back this month and I will say that I do need to update my review from last year. I got the Mac and Cheese again, and two different half sandwiches. The first half sandwich was the Boy Howdee and the other was the Mississippi Night Club. I will say that these two sandwiches were amazing! I wish the Boy Howdee had a little more jalapeño Krunchers, but overall still had great flavors. The Mississippi Night Club was great, I'd probably get this again. And the Mac and cheese was much better this time! Staff was great and it wasn't crowded on a Thursday night. The vibes and crowd was nice and relaxed.

Yelp
Somehow dinner time slipped by us without us knowing and we were faced with that decision to grab some late night bites or just go home and try eating again the next day. We decided to give the Gramophone a try. We'd been here years ago before their sandwich program was so well renowned. The late night bites scene here captures the tough, gritty, soulfully spunky, diverse spirit of St. Louis so well. I can't believe it's taken us so long to come back. I ordered their most famous sandwich, the Mississippi Nights Club. Boy was it tasty. It hit the spot. There were just the right amount of flavorful fillings and the bread was fantastic. We shared the Mac and cheese. We didn't leave any morsels behind; it was delicious--loved the chips on top! Absolutely I'll be back. Eating on back patio was great experience, however I do wish it could be a smoke free patio, we just got lucky that the smoke wasn't blowing our direction from some of our fellow tobacco using late night dinner goers. Yelp
TEN stars for this place! First of all, the cocktails are DELICIOUS and the food is FANTASTIC! Service wasn't the fastest, but it was well worth the wait. The place was HOPPIN'. I ordered the special of the day, the Big Bubba G, which was cornmeal breaded cajun shrimp, lemon pepper aioli, Old Bay hot sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno krunchers on a toasted baguette. My daughter ordered the Boy Howdee. We gave each other half of our sandwich. I actually liked hers better, and she liked mine better? Anyway, we had a side of Homemade Mac N Cheese which we BOTH loved! They sure know how to do sandwiches here. And they've got a really neat patio area out back. All around, a place I'll definitely come back to...

Yelp
Finally got the chance to try The Gramophone and it didn't disappoint amidst the hype. I was starving and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a side of a Mac and cheese really hit the spot. It seems like a trendy, casual spot in the grove to hangout with friends in the Grove. The service was pretty quick, and they have a pool table and some board games. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
This is a vibe at any time of the day that they are open. I have been waiting to try one of their highly-spoken sandwiches for a while. I wasn't surprised the quality lived up to the hype. If you're looking for a place to grab a beer, a sandwich, and to sit with good company then l recommend it. You should allow time in your schedule because depending on how busy they are there can be a wait.

Yelp
Simply one of the best sandwhich shops in Saint Louis. Best part they even open late for them late night munchies. Service always is top notch and make sure you get taken care of. They had a dude playing guitar when I was in on Saturday. Always good give some live music with your food and drink. Do yourself a favor and get the Mac and cheese. Too hot outside for me right now but in the cold I always get the popper soup too.
google avatar

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
Stumble upon this Bar in the Grove because they serve food late nite. So glad we did. The bartender was friendly and gave us great suggestions. The vibe was music, drinks, food and fun. We. Ordered two different subs roast beef and meatball, both packed and served with a crispy sub bun. We got cookies and cream cheesecake to go. Love the funky bathroom murals. This place is on the list for my next visit!

Yelp
The best place for a late night sandwich; quick, easy to order, plenty of options. The service is good as well, everyone is usually really helpful. This time we got the danimal and a cup of the jalapeño popper soup. Both items were really good; the sandwich is loaded with meats. I just wished the soup was a tad bit warmer for this cold night.

Kacy B.

Yelp
Walked in after a trip to the ER (everything was fine) on a late Wednesday night and they had bingo! Two big tables having a great time! Brought my spirits up after hours waiting. Bartender was super cool and asked what he recommends, got the Mississippi whole, Mac and cheese, and jalapeño cheddar soup. All was great! Mississippi had 3-4 kinds of meats, onions, cheese. Mac and cheese was creamy and had ruffled chips which was amazing, the jalapeño soup was creamy and ended up using it to add to the Mac and cheese and dip my sandwhich.

Real Experiences, Honest Reviews ..

Yelp
The food was mid. The service was mid. The woman w/ glasses that took my order didn't seem like she was having a good day and it showed. Still, I wasn't there for the service. Like any place that I visit, I was there for the food. I had high expectations after reading the reviews for this place. The vibes were nice and the overall rating of this place is good. However, back to my food. For the size of my sandwich (Austin melt, Mississippi Night club), the price, and taste, it was not it. It was a disappointing experience. I hope it was just an off day for them. As for me, it's a one-and-done situation.
google avatar

Jami M.

Yelp
I don't go here regularly but I have very satisfied with each visit. Definitely worth the money because the sandwiches are delicious and hearty.

Joan W.

Yelp
First time at The Gramophone. There were four of us and we all had different sandwiches which we all enjoyed; the sides too. Would certainly recommend this place.
google avatar

Zach R.

Yelp
The Havana is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Alcatraz is a close second. My wife and I have driven all the way out to The Gramaphone from 30-40 minutes away when we crave a great sandwich. It took a while to get our food because it was packed, but we loved the atmosphere and the calm vibe combined with the perfect crispy sandwiches.

John C.

Yelp
Reviving. Business district. Ordered takeout sandwich. Good enough to return. Bar. Confused wait staff.
google avatar

Deyna J.

Yelp
Finally dined in at the Gramophone. I really like the vibe and atmosphere. We sat inside but they do have a patio out back. The service is friendly and quick. My boyfriend got his favorite sandwich, the Mississippi Nights, so I decided to try the Vegetarian version. I liked it. I normally wouldn't get a sandwich with chips on it but it added a nice crunch. I don't think the sandwich was bland but I really love pickles and banana peppers and it was missing some acidity or heat for me. I still liked it but I wouldn't order it again. The Mac and Cheese was pretty good. Without the red hot riplets it would've been bland but I mostly enjoyed it.
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go for a sandwich. It is almost always busy so if you see an empty table, grab it. Ordering is at the counter for both food and drinks. They have a nice beer list with a lot of options. They also have a full bar. There are a lot of food options if you want something spicy. Having Red Hot Riplets (a St. Louis classic chip) on a sandwich takes me back to my childhood. I've never been disappointed by anything on their menu. There are only a few options for sides. The mac & cheese is probably my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any other choice.
google avatar

Jonquil B.

Yelp
I do love a good sandwich and this place delivers! There are so many options that I couldn't choose one lol. You can change the sandwich into a salad or wrap. A while variety of options. They put popular meals on bread lol. The service was wonderful; you order at the front and then they bring the food to you. You can play pool or just chill with friends. Great place that stays open late to have drinks, wash it down with a sandwich.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
I came here after a huge event in the Grove so thankfully I was dropped off because street parking is tough in this area. I've heard nothing but great things about The Gramophone but was always turned off by seeing how long the lines are. Upon arrival the line was INSANE but moved really fast so I stayed this time. There was also live music playing. I ordered the Italian Yardbird while my friend ordered mac and cheese topped with red hot riplets. For my sandwich, just imagine taking some chicken alfredo with mushrooms and spinach and topping it with bacon to be served in a garlic bread baguette. It was messy but super delish! They wrap it in foil to keep it warm. I hear they have new sandwiches all the time so I plan to return soon. They truly live up to their name - Sandwich Kingz!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I stopped by on one of the few days of winter (it was snowing), so I ended up ordering my food to go. I didn't pre-order and there were a few ahead of me, but it only took maybe 10-15 minutes to get my food. I'd heard some rave reviews from others about this place, so my expectations were high, but they were exceeded. I had the 1/2 South Austin melt and the loaded mashed potatoes. The sandwich was great, but even had I not had the side, I don't think I could eat a whole sandwich in one sitting. The potatoes were fine, but I think I would try a different side next time. I don't know that I'll be able to try a different sandwich, though, the South Austin is that good. As for the atmosphere, it being a weekday lunch, it was mostly people picking up take out orders, but looking around the place, it seemed like your best kind of dive bar. I will definitely return!

Yelp
This is a must stop in St. Louis. Amazing sandwich shop with live music and a patio out back. Full bar with local beers on draft. Super friendly staff and quick service, this place ticks all the boxes.

Yelp
I've been dying to try this place for a while. I must say, this place is a definite place to try. Service was fairly quick, even during peak hours. My husband and i decided to try multiple sandwiches from the menu. We each got half of a sandwich of our choice and one whole sandwich to try together. I opted to get The Havana. I loved the tender pork and crispy bacon. The garlic citrus mustard gave it a sweet and tangy taste. The bread was soft but not soggy. It was by far the best Cuban i have ever had. It was defiantly my favorite. My husband got the Philly Cheesesteak. He opted to get his on sourdough bread. I tasted his sandwich, and it was delicious as well. The meat was tender, and cooked to perfection. Seasoned just right. I think it would've been better had my husband not opted for a different bread. We chose to get the Mississippi Nights club. It was delicious as well. The meat was tender and piled high. I was not a fan of the chips being on the sandwich as they got soggy, especially if you don't eat it right away. The spicy red pepper spread was not notice. I would have loved to tasted more spice. Other than that. I would definitely go back for the Havana sandwich and to try other sandwiches!

Mathew S.

Yelp
Friendly staff, monster portions, former music venue turned appetite buster. Sandwiches vacillate between novel and traditional. Up and down the menu, a both confusing and intimidating prospect, I narrowed the choices down to the Alcatraz and the Fight Club. When I pressed the barkeep (ordering at the bar) into service for his recommendation (and a semi-brief aside here: this is what I do, nearly always, at places I haven't been to before. I narrow down the choices to what sounds good to me, usually to 3 or so completely disparate choices, and then ask someone who works there for their guidance between those and what they consider to be the best single offering is. Complicated? Sure. Effective? Damned right.) he offered a novel solution - and this I CAN'T RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH - get a half of EACH! So I got both...each very good. So... ...my recommendation: the Yogi. It's like a survey of the hot Italian panacea sandwich landscape , but melded together and fused with bread. The jalapeño popper soup is delicious, novel, and the texture of it being cream based is rich. The spicy but rich thing might be what had me so taken by the soup. Definitely worth a try. Actually, worth two tries. I bought a Yogi to go, drive it back to Memphis, and, hours later, unfrigerated (allowing for the flavors to meld, quite nicely), had the best sandwich of 2023.

Yelp
This place has a good late night vibe. The place was super busy when we came here around 1030pm on a Saturday night. Music blasting and not a lot of seat left so it took us a moment to get a place to sit after ordering. This place has great sandwiches with prefect seasoning. The Mac n cheese was great. The Mac n cheese came with the chips on top, which bring in the prefect combination in flavor, crispy and creamy. The drink menu has quite a lot of beers variety if you are a beer drinker.
google avatar

Pash W.

Yelp
Came in on a busy Thursday afternoon at lunchtime. I got the jive sandwich this time around and the bacon on my sandwich was absolutely uncooked & RAW!
google avatar

Emerine C.

Yelp
I've been working my way through the menu here and can confirm that everything is great. I specifically love their sesame baguette and they can customize any sandwich how you like it. The mushroom mississippi night's club is my favorite at the moment. Love their weely specials too.
google avatar

Parker B.

Yelp
The Gramophone is hands down the best sandwich shop in STL. They have so many different options to choose from. My go to is the Alcatraz. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They typically have live music on the weekends. My only complaint is that it takes awhile to get your food but it's always worth the wait. Don't forgot to try the homemade mac n cheese.
google avatar

Marisa P.

Yelp
After sight seeing it was time for a quick lunch and I wanted to check out the Grove neighborhood. The Gramophone offers up an array of sandwiches in an order at the bar type setting. Plenty of local draft options, and lots of chips to choose from. The half sandwich is still pretty large, and a full sandwich could feed two people. I tried some kind of Italian grinder style and it was delicious. The chips I had were rap snacks, which tasted like a honey bbq cheese puff. It was really yum. Very cool place to stop in for lunch or a beer break.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
I do not know what took me so long to come here. I've seen posts for years, but I'm not usually a sandwich person. We stopped by on a whim and the place was packed on a weekend around 1:00. You order at the counter and then find a seat. There was live music while we were there. The space inside is small and cramped but lively. There is a billiards table next to where the musicians stand. We ordered the Mississippi Nights Club and the Alcatraz along with a side of the mac and cheese. The sandwiches were unbelievably good! We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Money F.

Yelp
I'm gonna start off saying pretty much every sandwich is $14! My husband and I ordered the Buffalo Soldier and the Fireball. The buffalo soldier was tasty but not enough toppings! It needed MORE EVERYTHING. Again, for FOURTEEN DOLLARS my sandwich should be stacked!! The fireball was OK. I expected a spicy kick from the jalapeño soup but I guess I didn't get any jalapeño. The fireball was way too cheesy for my liking and not enough spice. I needed a side of hot giardiniera peppers. There's a parking lot next to the restaurant which is convenient and the inside is just tables with "free for all"seating.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
A staple in The Grove, Gramophone never disappoints. There is truly a sandwich for everyone here and kid meal options as well. They have an extensive beer list and self-serve fountain soda for convenience. I've never had a bad bite of sandwich here and my favorite I've tried so far is the Frenchy with chicken, bacon, swiss, grilled poetabello mushrooms, onion, aioli, and fresh herbs served hot and toasty! Sandwiches are worth the price you pay and I like that there's a half & a whole option. My only complaint is charging $2.5 for a little baggie of chips. If they were house fresh chips, I get the price, but otherwise I think it'd be nice to be able to add on a bag of chips to any sandwich order for about half that price.
google avatar

Dale L.

Yelp
The food was incredibly good after a few cocktails down the street. Super friendly service and welcoming. Not pictured is the meatball sandwich and the huge piece of Oreo cheesecake for $4. The bathroom had some really cool murals that I didn't get pictures of.
google avatar

Cherie B.

Yelp
Loved both sandwiches and the mashed potatoes were garlicky and delicious. The walk up ordering service is nice but there is limited seating so better to have more than one person to go ahead and snag a table when available. The guitarist for the night was incredible and really set the vibe. There is a pool table and pinball machine, there are also board games to choose from. Definitely will be coming back to try more sandwiches. (4.5 stars only for seating).
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Love love love! As someone who is gluten free I love the option to make anything into a salad. Always an upbeat vibe and the service was quick as expected.
google avatar

Jensen W.

Yelp
The Gramophone in The Grove is a one of a kind experience. It's just not a sandwich shop. They've got Mac n cheese with red hot riplets that just add that extra punch & crunch to the Mac n cheese. You'll find their specialty Sammy on the wall but you'll be torn between all the choices you have to pick! When we went, they had live music so it was a bit loud for the smaller space but it was still a great time nonetheless! Order your food at the bar! Our food came out super quick & it was fresh & hot! We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food! Everytime I go it's a whole vibe you want to enjoy. 10/10 if you want great food, this is your spot.

Yelp
Wow what a place!! This was recommended by several friends so when I was in the area I had to stop in. I was not disappointed!! It is an order at the bar place, but we found a table and decided on food and drink before we went up. All three of our sandwiches were awesome. On impulse we got the Mexican Street Corn and Mashed Potato sides, SO glad we did. Those were perfection!! The beer selection was extensive and the soda choices were great(Lucky Cola). I will most definitely be back!!

Yelp
It was amazing! There was great live music and probably the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've had! The food came out very quickly too!

Yelp
Bless The Gramophone for being open so late because it was a really good drunchies spot. It's got lively, easygoing bar vibes and was quite packed for a Thursday night. The menu felt overwhelming because there were so many options and they all sounded good. I settled for Big Willie's Meatballs, which was a really nice, warm, decadent meatball sub on sesame, AKA the best pairing. It was really filling, and it's great that they offer the option to do a half vs. whole sandwich. A solid spot for good beer and carbs? I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of their menu.

Yelp
Awesome sandwiches, large selection of craft beers, and great atmosphere. Nice live music, but not so intrusive that conversation was difficult.
