Apple Downtown Brooklyn

Visited the Apple Store Brooklyn, and the architecture alone makes it worth stopping by. The design is beautiful all glass, clean lines, and right along the waterfront. It feels open, modern, and very “New York” at the same time. Inside, it’s bright and spacious, and the views of the Manhattan skyline through the glass walls are incredible. Even if you’re not buying anything, it’s a cool place to walk through just to take it in. Definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing Apple Stores I’ve been to.

Emelyn was absolutely amazing. From the very first interaction, she was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. She made the whole iPhone purchase feel smooth and memorable. What really stood out was how confidently and professionally she guided me through the entire process, she clearly knows what she’s doing. I mentioned that I needed a cable, a screen protector, and a few other accessories, and she walked me through each option with patience and real knowledge. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch, it felt honest. She understood what I was looking for almost instantly, and we connected very naturally. She listened, responded thoughtfully, and made sure everything was exactly right. It also didn’t feel like she was assigned to me on purpose, she happened to be nearby and offered help when I had been waiting. That initiative says a lot about her. On top of that, she's very stylish and presents herself in a very polished way and her manicure looked incredible tho. Overall, an outstanding experience. Emelyn truly made a difference, and I’m extremely happy with her service!!!

So I came in last Thursday with an iPhone 15 that had water damage, trashed back glass and a blacked out screen. I didn’t have much hope but I work from my phone- my whole life is on there and I was locked out of my apple account bc I changed my number so I was very desperate to find anyone that could help me out. I had a 6pm appt and was taken in fairly quickly, two team members came but the one that has left a lasting impression on me was Jason. He’s a genius and he actually needs to be promoted to manager or given a weekly demo class to teach customers/staff how he does what he does. He was not only friendly, professional and prompt, but I watched him help so many other ppl during my appt and they all left looking very happy and pleased with his service. He work relentlessly on my phone and somehow was able to get into it on a remote viewing screen, unlock it, update my phone settings so I can transfer my data to another phone (all free) and it was NOT easy but he did not give up or try to up-sell me a new device. He was very compassionate and I can tell that although he was under pressure, he was consistent in his professionalism, he was tenacious in figuring out how to not only safely transfer my data, make sure my new device was working, and that I was kept in the loop about what he was able to do. He even taught me how to troubleshoot my phone in the event that it ever happened again. I think he’s the best person on the team and this location made a good call on making him a team member. I found myself asking him if he does IT work outside of apple bc, he literally deserves a higher pay, larger platform and maybe his own teaching segment at apple- idk but the guys a rockstar. While he was working on my phone, another team member came to him to show him their improvement on their own performance and cited him as inspiration. I’m lucky to have gotten him as my customer service help. Jason, you’re amazing and you should definitely be promoted to a higher position/salary. Possibly even explore other opportunities that showcase your talents. I hope this year is prosperous for you and thank you again for the crazy work you did on my phone!!

I’d like to give full start to stuff’s guiding you in store. But 1 start to the inventory manager. Scheduled a picking up at 7:30 in person, wait from then till 9:00 pm, order is still in processing. Apple support told me from their end it shows the model I ordered they still have it in stock, I don’t know why the guy who didn’t let my order to get passed. One start to show my respect to whoever did this job at least still a human being. But I believe monkey can do a better job than him or her. Respect :)

Visiting from out of town and my phone stopped working. I was helpless, everything is in my phone. Went into this location and was assisted right away. Within 15-20 minutes I was sitting down with a technician restoring my phone. Aesthetically this place is beautiful. The crew here is so put together and courteous. Great selection of all Apple products. Professionalism A+!!!! Love this spot.

They were very attentive and helpful. Customer Service and A and I'm an android girl. My son needed to charge his iPhone before the concert and I needed to get out of the heat. We are sitting on their tree seats 😆. Don't sit on the railing a nice lady will come over and ask you if you need help and then ask you not to sit on it. But she was very nice about it. This store is Kaila New York approved 🙌 👌

A great vibe all around. It was super busy, but the staff did an amazing job making each customer feel seen and taken care of. Everyone was patient, helpful, and professional despite how packed it was. Definitely a smooth and positive experience.

The staff in this location does not know the Apple product or understand the design. Me and my fiancé reach the store with a phone that is ready to burst becau5of a battery that has expanded. It is an IPhone 15 pro max in perfect condition, it doesn't even have a scratch, the only problem is the battery. First we are told by the employee that the battery is designed to expand and ruin the phone. After that the manager tells us to be careful of the poisonous fumes that the battery is going to release, refusing to repair the phone or exchange for that matter. Definitely not recommended.

I've been buying Apple products for years and have visited most Apple Stores in the metro area. The Downtown Brooklyn location has consistently provided poor customer service, from floor staff to management. They prioritize the bottom line over the customer experience. Apple is about more than hardware and software--it's about the experience from the moment you walk in to when you leave with your new product. Here, that experience is tarnished. On multiple visits, I've stood by a table for over 10 minutes without anyone offering help. When approached, staff often seem indifferent, as if doing me a favor by acknowledging me. Manager interactions have been equally disappointing--biased, dismissive, quick to say "no," and hiding behind vague policies rather than offering solutions. At other Apple Stores, I've had the opposite experience: friendly, accommodating, and customer-first service. Although this location is only two blocks from my home, I now shop online or at other stores--even if it means traveling farther. That's how consistently poor my experiences here have been.

Please to go in if you need any of your Apple products fixed. You just got to make an appointment online so you can go in and out as possible? There is always a massive wave of people that's hard to avoid. TIP: When you make an appointment just make sure you get there maybe five to 10 minutes before hand so just in case they're gonna start calling you. Check in is easy. You com in someone can puts your name down. Then you can roam in the bright and surprisingly spacious place. Welcoming bright and not obnoxiously bright like in other locations. Also, it's in the hub of downtown Brooklyn If there is a long wait; you can get something done before/after getting your products repaired. The Atlantic Mall is across the street not a lot of stores but enough to pass the time. this is my go to Spot) for the past few years since it open. Again the space is massive. This location is a preference for me.

Usually (overly) crowded and some have stated that it doesn't measure up to other locations. While I do favor other locations, this one serves its purpose. Most Apple products on display. Helpful staff and punctual appointments. Good to have in the neighborhood.

While waiting for our $25 UBER shuttle to La Guardia which meets across from the Apple Brooklyn store, I quickly stopped in for a quick question. No wait and they were able to fix my issues. Thank you!!

I am having issues with pairing my Apple Watch to my Iphone16 and decided I needed Apple assistance. After visiting Verizon and trying to pair it myself and getting nowhere.. This is my Apple Store and have been here numerous times. The service has always been consistently courteous and professional. I was immediately greeted and the greeter found an Apple employee to help with my issue. Andres, who is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about Apple products, assisted me with the pairing. The store itself is immaculate and great layout. Highly recommend this Apple Store!

Star is really a supernova in this place. She assisted my family of four; two teens and their granny and me at our 2nd stop of the day trying to buy the children new phones. She was fully service, not pushy and really friendly and helpful relatable to every single one of us in the group. Impressive. There was another guy there giving me horrible bad news and I was just like ok thanks and moved right on to Star and purchased a second phone even tho I was unhappy. I usually go all the way to Brooklyn to this location ANY time some thing goes wrong. It is my Apple Store of choice so 5 out of 5 I highly recommend. There is absolutely no parking. The service is spectacular and the wait time varies. But I hope this Brooklyn Apple Store stays here forever bc it's close to the LIRR so even tho there is no parking it's super accessible and I love that.

This location opened up some years back, but I never came inside. I just knew it would be crowded and I've always avoided this place like the plague. However, I wanted to look at some laptops and I was having an issue with some of the music in my phone. I immediately found a staffer, who was helping someone else, but still managed to assist me. He partially helped me, but had to return to the man he was helping prior to my arrival. He communicated to both of us, so we weren't just standing around. I think other business should have similar customer etiquette. Overall, this location is very neat, very spacious, and had some great staff here. I would just say expect to wait. A few minutes because all the employees are seemingly always helping someone.

Came to this location a few times, and I enjoyed my experience overall. I usually have a Genius Bar appointment, therefore, I'm assisted quite quickly. I had an issue with the audio of my beats fit pro headphones. The individual who helped me was patient and thorough when it came to troubleshooting my headphones' audio. This location is usually packed with people, however, the staff does a good job at getting to everyone. I see myself returning here for more headphones assistance as well as a laptop purchase.

Shout out to @Los! Great service. I had had major issues moving my data after my repair of my iPhone. Los took a thoughtful amount of time to address the problem. Not only did his fix it but was helpful, friendly, and patient. If his manager is reading, this guy is awesome!

Christmas season was my first visit to the Apple Store in Downtown Brooklyn. Other Brooklyn or Manhattan stores had been the sites of many previous purchases. But why not give this one a try! I'm glad my son went with me. It's a gorgeous store with the entrance a V shaped building at the intersection of two streets. Access was difficult due to the directions of the two streets. Since I didn't want to walk across other lanes downtown at dusk, it took some maneuvering to find a spot where he could drop me off & try to find parking. They were very busy. I'm not sure how many were browsing and how many were buying, I had to wait for a long time on a block at the back of the store, with packages, before being helped. My Sales Associate was extremely pleasant. Since I knew exactly what I wanted, he found it in a short amount of time. But the new Watch wanted to update before we could continue. He had me continue to wait on the block. Evidently I knew more about an Apple Watch than him because it did nothing. Finally I told him "Doesn't it need to be connected to power to update?" I pulled my block to the Watch Display so it could connect to power. But the store WIFi was excruciatingly slow. When it finally finished, the Watch didn't want to recognize my cellular connection. It took a supervisor & what looked like a village of Associates to correct the problem. By the time everything finished I was exhausted, especially with all the heavy bags. My son still needed to get the car & pull around to a spot where my unsteady body didn't have to walk across lanes. The store is gorgeous & well stocked. But I think next time I buy, it will be in one of the stores with easier access.

I met up with a gal who thought she did not stink, high & mighty. She was showing a small group of girls the ins & outs of that Apple store. She never listen to a word I had to say. I was bringing back a new phone that was terrible. And told her of a replacement that I wanted. Whatever I said, did not matter. She did not start the phone for me, she let me leave to go home & I called up Apple and had the nicest sweetest supervisor take care of me over the phone-supposedly that supervisor sent in a complaint about Miss High & mighty from the Apple Store downtown Brooklyn. I sure hope soooo.

This is the most convenient Apple store for me and when I do need to make a visit (which isn't frequently) it's more than likely to pick up an already purchased order. Apple makes the experience seamless and the wait time is almost non existent. I've always encountered friendly and helpful staff members although the location is usually packed with customers.

Rude techs with no knowledge, and the manager was very proud to announce that he doesn't know anything. Really a waste of time in a crowded place with not enough seating.

Subject: Deeply Disappointing Experience at Downtown Brooklyn Apple Store I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction following my visit to the Downtown Brooklyn Apple Store, where I went to purchase a new iPhone 16 Pro. Although I had the option to buy the same phone from a local retailer or have it delivered to my workplace, I specifically chose to visit this flagship location, expecting a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and technical knowledge. Unfortunately, the experience was the exact opposite -- unprofessional, frustrating, and, frankly, humiliating. Upon arrival, I was promptly assigned to a sales associate. While she began processing my order, she was simultaneously attempting to assist at least five other people. Throughout the interaction, I felt completely ignored. She didn't give me a chance to ask any questions about setting up or using my new phone, and it appeared that none of the other individuals she was trying to help were making any purchases. Once she completed the initial setup, I attempted to ask a question -- but she simply walked away without a word and never returned. At that point, I realized my Apple Watch was not syncing with my new phone. I asked another nearby representative for help, but she barely looked at me and responded rudely that I needed to erase my Apple Watch. When I asked how to do that and requested assistance, she told me I wasn't her customer and continued to look away, offering no help whatsoever. After erasing my watch as instructed and failing to sync it successfully, I sought help from another representative. The response was similarly dismissive -- I was told the store's Wi-Fi was too slow and that I should go home to complete the setup. This person also walked away mid-conversation. As a healthcare provider, it is crucial for my phone and watch to function properly -- especially since I rely heavily on WhatsApp messaging for urgent communication. Despite explaining this, I was continually brushed off. Desperate for help, I approached a third representative, who once again walked away while giving verbal instructions over her shoulder. I was left trailing behind her with my iPhone in one hand and my watch in the other, trying to follow unclear directions. Ultimately, my watch stopped responding entirely and became unusable. Eventually, I found a supervisor who attempted to help but did not inspire much confidence. For over an hour, I stood watching repeated failed attempts to sync my devices, being told a variety of excuses: that long loading times were normal, that the store's Wi-Fi was slow, and even that my watch wasn't updated (which is untrue -- my watch was set to auto-update). After two hours in the store -- from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. -- I left with a bricked Apple Watch, a sense of complete frustration, and a deep disappointment in what should have been a positive experience. This visit was, in a word, unacceptable. I have visited other Apple Stores and always had respectful, knowledgeable service. The Downtown Brooklyn location was the complete opposite -- chaotic, dismissive, and severely lacking in customer care and technical support. I am confident I'm not alone in experiencing this, and I strongly urge Apple to seriously re-evaluate the leadership and staff training at this location. This store is not living up to the standards that have made Apple a trusted brand.

02/05/23: Awesome awesome experience. Last minute decide to check out the Apple store as I have been wanting an IPad. Upon entering was taken almost immediately. Sales person I think Dev was his name was amazing. Knowledgeable, polite, and sooo pleasant and patient with me. When I say patient.. Yelpers take advantage of Seated App. As we dine out so frequently why not get a few $$ back for dining out. Folks it paid off, I was able to purchase my IPad fully with seated dollars. Here's where Dev's patience came into play. I basically had multiple $50 gift card purchased by redeeming seated dollars. I basically put down my phone and he access each card and scan and scan and scan until my iPad paid in full. Can you say sweeeeet. If ever in fort Greene area stop in at that Apple location if you're lucky you happen upon Dev. As for Seated download the app. Use code michelle1454.. you also can be on your way to "free" items.

Terrible experience with store manager (black male). Went to purchase a new iPhone. Totally unhelpful; unintelligent; useless. Ready to make a purchase with another employee when manager came over. Left the store and went to 14th Street in Manhattan. Pleasurable and easy experience. Would have preferred to give zero stars to Brooklyn store.

I've been waiting for at least 20 mins for someone to help me tonight. In the meantime, am seeing three Apple "geniuses" helping one customer. If you're looking for service, this is the worst Apple Store to come to.

I was there the other day and there was a rep with gauges and tattoos... he tried to fix my computer but couldn't and would've replaced it but I didn't purchase it directly from apple. Not only was he really cool but was able to multitask with other customers and when he noticed I felt uncomfortable because a man was leaning over my computer, he politely stepped away from who he was working with and stepped in. He gave me a letter that certified they tried best to repair it and I was able to return the defective device I got from a third party retailer. He even invited his supervisor to the conversation to explore alternatives for me should I want to purchase directly from apple instead. without the letter he provided that clearly outlined it was more than a hardware issue, the initial store would not take it back since the box had been opened. Please go to any other location in the city. This one is AWFUL. They are never on time for genius bar appointments, the waiting area is extremely uncomfortable, they take great umbrage when you ask them what position you are in line (40 minutes after your appointment time) and then they are truly awful at the support itself. My "genius" did not log the repair correctly in the system, I am only getting alerts that the repair is on hold with no information for a pair of headphones still under warranty. When I call apple support, they said the service member should have offered me the option of an express replacement since the headphones were under apple care. Now a week later and no updates, I'm super frustrated, have spent hours on the phone with apple support and even THEY can't seem to reach anyone at the store. Their solution? Go back to the store and ask them to cancel the repair so I can mail in a replacement? RIDICULOUS. Seriously. Go to SoHo. They seem to actually care about customers enough to do this right.

This store is very unprofessional. They gave us an appointment for a phone repair. When we arrived at the appointment they said it was too late to fix a phone. WHAT!!! Then they said you can come back (really as if we have nothing to do) without an appointment. So go back on Sunday SOLELY for a screen repair. The rep fixing the phone ended up damaging my daughter's phone (burned it) gives her a brand new phone and since then we have experienced nothing but issues with this new phone. What kind of customer service is this. Apple care 1 800 troubleshooted and now we need to get a new phone because this phone is defective. All this while going here solely to get a screen fixed. This is extremely frustrating. This is not a location I would recommend to anyone especially if you solely have a cracked screen issue.

It's clean and well maintained Apple Store. We came here to replace AirPod. Made a reservation via mobile app. We came here on time, and the staff took our reservations promptly. However, due to the high traffic during weekends, we waited like 30 mins even showed up on time which is normal for Apple Store. We got our AirPod replaced with no charge. Great customer service! I'm a royal fan of apple products. Thumbs up!

The attendant was a little rude and condescending but I got what I needed in the end. It's shouldn't be that way.

Very rude and damaged my belongings--blunt cold fast service, dont bother with Manager Kal who treats everyone like an idiot. Its really easy to call corporate to complain though** You'll walking into a place where no one is directing you, no signs, just floaty staff. I came in with a blackspot on my mac, at 215pm on September 25. I understand they couldn't offer to help me with black spot, unless I paid $500. Yet there was no reason to break my screen cover. She insisted she didn't break it, but I was telling her as she was removing it, to stop. I had blood drawn earlier I couldn't yell. She just kept talking, I just tried to point it out but not cut her off. The tear was huge. She insisted I did it, and it was already cracked. I never tried to remove it (1 year!) I sat there using my Mac while waiting. There was nothing wrong with the top cover. The screen faced her, cover towards me, and she kept cracking it and tugging from one corner away from her, to remove the whole cover. On the camera they will see my hands try to reach for my mac but it was too late. She kept talking and tearing as she got it off the mac, and threw it down next to me. The way she even handled it I would never! Did she not see my startled face and me placating over it in my hands while she kept talking? No because they are in their heads, and they lack communication competence to stop and listen--they are so impersonal! Most people would feel something and stop right? This could have been avoided and honestly apologized for. There was no reason to bring it to that level of damage no matter what. And this, they didn't even want to acknowledge. The manager Cal/Kal goes on to insinuate that I had to already have broken it. I told him i don't break things, and he pointed at my laptop and said I clearly do. The fact that the slightest touch can damage the screen on such an expensive laptop doesn't mean anything about how I treat my things. Yet he had the audacity to ask me not to question why she was continuing to allow it to crack this much as she was removing it, that there was no point and he can just offer something. No accountability, no apology. Post giving me an offer for credit, Kal continued to be condescending and blame me. This is the issue! It seems like his own personal need to feel right. This lady (managing appointments) budged in and told me to stop explaining again what happened, but shortly after Kal continued to question how I handle my Mac. Neither of them have the right, and its straight bullying to group up to tell me shut up, as I was mild natured and exhausted and only responding to his constant judgement. He could just check the cameras instead of feeling a power trip, but he refused. It was hypocritical that after both of them told me to shut up, they didnt and continued to be berate and question me. Are they really managers? He said he would give me credit that I could only use in their store when I go back there again. It's farthest from easy going there. I asked him what was in stock to which he had no response. At the very least he could've offered to use the credit right away but instead was vague about how to acquire this. It was pulling teeth. I had to return to ask about it, and had to ask 2 staff members for his name, for which they acted like they didnt know! Kal spoke to me like I was in pre-k. Kal looked at the bottom piece of the case and said it had breaks on the corner, so he said I must've already broken the top myself. Naturally, the back corner of the plastic case for the bottom chips away since the laptop sits on it, but the materials of either parts and the location of damage ARE NOT remotely similar. The prying created an obvious angle of damage, its not a chip of plastic its long tearing of silicone! There was no reason for them to continue to judge my character or try to make illogical claims like this! Covers are not that expensive. THE BIGGEST ISSUE? The amount of disrespect from the Kal, "Tech", that lady, and the total brashness and impersonal attitude--rude, blunt, cold, fast!

A disorganized mess. It shouldn't take 30 minutes of waiting to pick up an applecare repair order. I don't know who at this company decided that having a free form mess of associates milling around with no semblance of order or service desks was a good idea.

Holy Hell, the manager Dre here... how did he land his manager job??? My brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max out the box didn't work. It charged to about 20% - 30% then died, even on airplane mode, just sitting on the table. I left it plugged in all day and went to pick it up. I BURNED MY HAND. I took it in to Apple. I've never had a bad experience with any product, so I was polite, understanding, and my normal dorky self. I got help from a nice girl who was scared for my safety. She went to her manager and he sent her back to say "we are out of stock of this same phone, but we could give you a gift card then buy it online." No, I just want the refund. She said "Ok, no problem." And went back to her manager to let him know. This ass, Dre, has the most pompous, pretentious, holier than thou, body language. He's leaning/sitting on the table at the center of the floor, hands in his pockets, shrugging to his employees, sending her back and forth to me. He's playing a game of telephone rather than just walking up to me 10ft away. Finally, she resolves everything; but, I ask her about my trade-in and how I get that money. So now she has to go back to her manager. He FINALLY comes over to me and takes his open hand out of his pocket. I reach to shake it and he immediately closes it to fist bump. "Ok, covid." I think to myself. Dre then takes my working iphone with his hand, without asking, and starts touching my screen with his fingers to see the receipt I pulled up. So, he's not exactly too concerned with covid. He didn't shake my hand because he is a big shot manager of an Apple Store. Ooh wow, good job little man. I let him know I'm concerned about the money from my trade-in. He tells me to go home and wait. I ask for confirmation and he says "you could take home the faulty phone until you see the trade-in credit." Seriously? You want me to continue carrying and storing this potentially explosive phone at home? "We can give you a gift card or a refund." I tell them "Just give me the refund!" He leaves without any concern for this dangerous anomaly of an iPhone, without saying goodbye, and without apologizing. Straight up leaves and the girl finishes up the refund. Dre, a masterclass in what NOT to do in the hospitality / retail / service industry.

This apple store is not closed I was here today please upgrade the status. It's in full operation with excellent service. Please say location is open

I rarely go to the Apple store for anything but I had to make 2 appointments, one for my AirPods and the other for my laptop. I made an appointment prior to coming and was out in 25 mins. Each time, I had two great specialists that assisted me and gave me an easy turnaround. I suggest that those need in Apple support, make an appointment prior.

Didn't have an appointment but was able to make one onsite and wait time was an hour and 15, not bad since no times were showing available online. Met with Scott, Genius staff, who assisted with my iPad issue. He was pleasant, personable, and patient. I'm not tech savvy and he explained the issue and how to fix it - SUPER helpful!

This Apple location gets an A+ for taking all the right safety measures. Since I made an appointment I was able to walk right in after checking in outside with one of the apple specialist. Once I was in, I waited shortly for an available specialist who walked me through everything I needed to know about what I should consider when purchasing an apply watch. The young lady who helped me was extremely thorough and help me choose a watch that was best for me! The customer service I experienced here was really great, especially since a lot of folks on Yelp don't seem to have the same experience. They also take the extra steps to make sure that everyone is social distanced and that all surfaces are continuously sanitized. Even as I tried on different watch bands, they were sanitized each time!

Mischa ( hope I spelt her name correctly) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, thoughtful and polite as she helped me purchase my new Apple Watch. Personable and funny and made my experience fast and easy yet understanding with ALL my questions. Thank you so very much.

I've only been to this location once before for a battery replacement and that was a few years ago. This time, I needed new earphones for my laptop--the one I was currently using was shot (my fault). I ordered online and decided to pick it up rather than have it shipped. When I got there, it was a little before 10am--opening time and people were waiting outside for the doors to open. I decided to go to Whole Foods (which is next door to the Apple Store). When I got back, it was definitely full. I kind of zigged-zagged around to find the pickup area--which is towards the front right of the store. They have classes at the front of the store, if you're interested. One of the employees saw that I ordered the earphones with the jack and asked if I needed it for a Mac, to which I responded "yes." He told me that if I'm interested in upgrading my current Mac, I can come in and they can help with a trade-in. A lot of people seem to come in to hang out--I just retrieved my order and left. The service was good, I'm not sure why the reviews are so poor. When I'm ready to upgrade my Mac, I would come to this location--it's close to me and the service is good.

An average size Apple store with one floor. They have taken a lot of COVID precautions such as not allowing people without reservations to enter, having a line on both sides of their entrance, and having all their employees wear face masks and sit six feet from the customer. I visited regarding my laptop which was not closing all the way. They were very kind and the wait was not too long. I was seen probably 15 minutes after my reservation time. They gave me estimates of how much it would cost to fix my laptop, but I ended up not getting it fixed as it was only an external physical issue that did not affect how the laptop ran. Tl;dr - Customer service was great, employees were kind, however appointments usually start later than you reserve the time to be.

I have had a stellar experience both times that I have purchased iPhones from this location. I first got my iPhone 8 plus probably 2 1/2 years ago at this location and the guy who helped me was so wonderful and thorough in explaining the differences and patient and helping me get my phone set up. I wish I remembered his name. Last night I returned to get an extremely overdue upgrade. Because of the pandemic, you can only purchase by appointment so make sure to schedule one online. The process is easy, they'll check you in and you wait in line outside with spacing. The store is visibly extremely clean. My rep was Sherwin and he was so friendly and helpful. I really like the in person experience of phone shopping as opposed to doing it online and he did a great job in explaining the differences and showing me the different options. I ended up with the 256 GB iPhone 12 pro max in blue and I love it! So happy I finally got a new one.

This must be the worst Apple Store in the world. This is the short version but the 4 employees at this store that I interacted with basically tried to out do each other in stupidity. They said they would fix my computer in 5 days. Two weeks later I had not heard from them. I called the store, no answer. I called Apple Support and they tried to call the store and also got no answer. Apple support told me to go to the store. I went to the store. The store said that they had sent me an email ... unfortunately the guy at the store who took my computer input my email into the system incorrectly. I have an Apple Account which apparently he should have just had me log into when I dropped off the computer (but for some reason, he did not). My "E" key had stopped working. Appartently it was going to cost $800 to fix the keyboard in my MacBook Pro that was only 3 months old. I was leaving for Paris the next day so I took my computer with me. Made an appointment for the Paris store. Went to the Paris store. They fixed the "E" key for free in 5 minutes. IMO every employee at the Apple Store in Brooklyn should be fired.

I bought a Belkin screen protector for my iPhone and my wife's iPhone. We were definitely told there was a lifetime guarantee including cracks and scratches. Now that my wife's screen protector is cracked, we are told a guarantee is only against product defects. Why would I need a lifetime guarantee against product defects. Definitely a ripoff

New addition to downtown Brooklyn area! This Apple Store is located right near Barclays and it's STUNNING. They thought of everything from fake trees to wood paneling. Staff is a little short handed and the thing to remember is when you walk in there's a man with an iPad, if you want to make a purchase or pretty much need help with anything go straight up to him give him or her your name and they'll call you when it's you're turn. It better you know this then go around looking for help. The selection is insane and the place is SPOTLESS. Interesting useless fact: there is not one garbage can inside the store because apples big on recycling. Other than that there's beautiful benches to sit while you wait underneath the "trees." Staff for the most part is very efficient and helpful once you get passed trying to find someone to help you. It's busy as heck and they need more staff but I think once it's "up and going" it's going to be great!

I went to this Apple Store location for the first time recently and it was such a pleasant and great experience. The space is clean and huge. There were two lines outside - one for people with appointments and one for walk-ins. Luckily, I made an appointment with a shopping specialist in which my reservation got lost somehow but they were still very accommodating to me. Upon entering, they make you sanitize your hands. Long story short, I went to the Apple Store at Roosevelt Field Mall because I had a busted mic and they gave me refurbished phone that was even more busted. Literally couldn't turn it on. When I got to the Brooklyn location, I told the Apple specialist, Alicia, about my situation and she was very sympathetic and she helped me tremendously. Alicia was super patient with me as I had to make some phone calls to sort out some details. At the end, she helped me with ordering a new phone and some accessories. She also answered all my questions. My wallet hurt after the visit but I'm not stressed anymore about being locked outside the digital world.

Like all Apple products, super expensive and super cool. Loved everything and recommend it. Took some time to get inside and their covid measures are very strict. Once inside got a personal sales person who got me everything I needed. Very good store and very good shopping experience. As Apple usually are.

This Apple Store is just like me in that it's prettier than it is useful. But we are both really, REALLY pretty, which helps. The lofted ceilings in the narrow, angled room are striking, but the space is simply smaller than most other Apple Stores, which means there's a smaller selection and makes it a bit more difficult to browse at peak times. They've still got the phones, watches, tablets, and more though. I've had mixed experiences with the folks working here. Some are extremely knowledgable/helpful and just as excited as I am that receipts magically print from beneath the display cases, and others make me feel like an idiot for not being able to answer my own questions about Apple products, and are not nearly as enthused as they should be about the fact that I'm dropping hundreds of dollars on a tiny box that will hopefully make my loved ones happy. That said, I'm certainly happy to have an Apple Store I can walk to whenever I need to spend too much money on a gift, converse with a certified Genius, replace the charger that I lost, or just when I need a shoulder to cry on. Please note that they actually frown on making Genius Bar appointments solely for the purpose of crying on a shoulder, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't do it.

Kevin, the manager at this location was amazing. With a packed store, he was so kind to me and my husband, who are not tech savvy. He was so patient, an entirely different experience from a store I visited in NC, where employees encouraged me to do everything myself at home even though I said, after several years, I still didn't feel completely comfortable. Thank you Kevin; you should be running multiple Apple stores.

Welcome to Brooklyn & Welcome to the Apple Store in Brooklyn - Chaotic, Unfriendly and Disorganized - Sprinkle in some Staff that are unenthusiastic and have minimal knowledge of the products. Yeah - I would skip this location if you can. Definitely appropriate to drop in, if you want to check something out - But, you are a fool to visit here and make a purchase. Things are just way to chaotic and unsavory. Amazing location - with easy access to the LIRR - But, why would you possible come to this location? Architecture and design of the building is truly a marvel. What a metaphor! ;-) Give the appearance you are entering some sort of shrine or church. Either way - I don't trust this place to conduct any business.

I like this Apple. The customer service is top notch. At 10am, I put my name in the queue for the Genius Bar and a half-hour later, my iPhone earphone was replaced. It is smaller than the other locations though. The classes are held on the ground floor. I'm used to the Soho where there is an auditorium. Otherwise, I will come here to fix my Apple products.

They were able to treat me very well is always super busy so it was hard to find some one to help me but my AirPods

I had a horrible situation with my phone and it had been on going for quite some time. I went to this Apple Store to get assistance and they fixed the issue without a problem. Tara helped me along with a young man (I can't remember his name right now but he was also super helpful) & they got me squared away. Super professional and empathetic. Also the store was pretty busy and from what I could see everyone was receiving great service.

Went to this store because of its proximity but I might as well have gone to one in Manhattan. I was sold an incorrect power cord despite bringing in the exact version of what I needed replaced. The gentleman was kind but clearly winging it. Once I got home and realized I was sold the wrong item, I had to Uber back (time sensitive). I tried to get help from a young Black man with long acrylic nails in the front (wasn't wearing a name tag) and it seemed like they delighted in being rude AF. They kept repeating the same thing over my explanation, dismissing my needs and the fact that where they were directing me to didn't help me properly the first time. Zero stars. Kindness is free. And I've worked in retail over a decade. There's no excuse for that level of behavior.

Don't go for the sales pitch! I bought a very expensive iMac with the "promise" that I could trade in my other Mac....sure, they took the trade @ some company called Phobio and gave me a reward (????) to spend the $630 at the Apple Store....I don't call that credit!!!!! It's a switch and bait, con job. Buyer beware!!!!! Get on social media and call these guys out for what they are...CORPORATE AMERICA EATING THE LITTLE GUY ALIVE. A MONOPOLY ELIMINATING THE SMALLER COMPETITION AND EVEN EATING UP TRADE IN DOLLARS.

Ugh! I went to the store for my 5:30 pm appointment (at 5:00 pm since they said to arrive earlier than the appointment time) for a battery replacement for my mom's iPhone 6. I am waiting and waiting and notice that it's about to be 6:30 pm and I have not been called so I go up to an employee who is checking people in to complain and she is looking for my appointment, she finds me in the system and grabs the next tech support person walking by to help me; turns out I wasn't checked in at all -_- . The employee who is helping me tries to make small talk but I am annoyed because I knew it would be a simple drop off and that they wasted my time; it took under 5 mins "paperwork" and all. I made eye contact with two employees while I was waiting, the one who directed me on where to go to be checked in and the one who checked me incorrectly (both of whom looked as if they were wondering why I was still here). Whatever the problem was they should check on that because it's either something wrong with the tech or the person who checked me in. I have been to this store before and it is hard to get assistance even when making a simple purchase. Employees are conversing amongst themselves and not being of much help to customers. I am also confused by the layout of this store, it's so unorganized and confusing (no obvious place to go for appointments without asking someone for help) and I was also confused on why all the employees wore the same color when they usually have tech support in grey or something (everyone was wearing green save for one older woman who wore a grey shirt which was why I went to her initially and she told me where to go). I went in today around 11 to pick up the phone and it is different a lot less people so no waiting. I would suggest coming here if you make it in the morning. I like the Prince Street store way better (even though they never meet their appointment times, but at least they check you in correctly), but in general, Apple needs to re-evaluate their customer service and it's efficiency what's the point of appointments if you can't manage the amount of people given one with walk-ins and etc.

I got seriously terrible repair service in the Brooklyn Downtown Apple store several times. (for 3 weeks, I had to visit the store 6 times because of their horrible repair service.) My 27 inches i-Mac had a power problem. No response to turn it on. Right after Picked it up (1st repair), I tried to turn it on. but it was same as before had dropped off. They told me to bring it back. so I dropped my I-mac off again on the same day for the exact same problem. They didn't repair it perfectly. Even they didn't check before giving it back to me. When I picked the repaired item (2nd repair), I required to make sure to check if it worked or not. but the technician in the genius bar who served me really hurried to take the next customer. His attitude was like "waiting line is very long outside. just pick it up and get out here right away." After 2nd repair, I was using I-Mac. The black screen display came apart from the computer....I was sitting right in front of iMac. It faced to my face and was fell off....... it was opened. I could see inside of the I-Mac and the computer was dead. I lost my works I had to submit that day..... I tried to turn it on over and over but the screen was dead. For me, I was really stressed out and not happy for apple not to do their job perfectly. It's very unprofessional and insane. I wasted my time and expense to bring it and pick it up several times. It is 27-in iMac. really heavy, not easy to bring to the store over and over. All my experiences were seriously terrible. Generally, All the process from visiting the store to the outcome of the repair was crazy and insane.... Without a star, I couldn't post this. 1 star is only to post my review. I don't want to give any credit to them.
