Yankee Tongdak

Loved both types of chicken we ordered (original and pepper) and the unique vibe of the place. Would definitely go back to try everything on the menu. There is usually a wait, so I recommend doing one of the following: -Get here early -Put your name on the list and explore other spots in the neighborhood -Go to their second location nearby with a smaller menu

This place is located in Mullae. It was my first time going to Mullae and I was so impressed by the unique renovation of old buildings. Yankee Tongdak is one of them. It looks quite small from the outside but once you get in, it’s totally different. It’s totally a good hole in the wall. Original Sigeumchi chicken (Spinach chicken) is the most famous. I tried pepper cream chicken and it was so delicious too. You should try if you get to visit Mullae. I’ll definitely come back here to try Sigeumchi chicken next time.

Here, you can have a plate of chicken. Actually, there are many Korean chicken restaurants in Korea. What is special here is they serve chicken with something you might never have seen in Korea: spinach. I'm a huge fan of spinach and I have wondered why chicken restaurants in Korea always just serve marinated reddish with chicken. The spinach was really tasty with grilled chicken. One drawback: since the place is usually very crowded, you might have to wait for, say, more than half an hour. Not a good place to go in rainy days.

One of the most famous, beloved hot place in Mullea. Opens at 6pm but you have to be in there before 5:30 if you do not want to wait more than a hour. Cozy, Retro-style interior feels nice and comfortable. More than anything else, this place's main dish is great. Juicy and tenderly roasted chicken matches well with the veges. Drinks are ok and price is reasonable.

Very nice vibe and yummy chicken. It id quite different from normal Korean chicken such as fried chicken. Rotisserie chicken and very tender. The source is really good. Highly recommended.

Just like an average level of restaurants hit on instagram. Worth visit when you have a small trip to Mullae area especially feeling like baked chicken.

Noticed the crowd outside when it’s just opening and got curious. Glad we did as it was really tasty ! Do come by to try if you are in the area!

Searched a few places regarding rotisserie chicken in the area and decided to come in. The queue can generate a long wait time. The host is amazing and speaks fluent english. He was helpful especially due to my phone number being out of the area (foreign); the host will message when table is ready. Food is amazing and one dish can be shared by two people. Best chicken! Thank you!
