Lee Lo Mei

This restaurant's decorated has the vintage Chinese look probably around the 1970's. Food are Cantonese food with a modern twist. Several dishes was highly recommended, such as the seafood clay pot rice as well as dessert dumplings. Price is definitely at the high end.

Pretty funky interiors. Interesting take on local street foods. It didn't taste bad but nothing really stood out. A bit pricey. Service was attentive. If I came back, it would be for the drinks and atmosphere. Tip: Have a look upstairs too.

Lee lo mei is a Cantonese restaurant opened by a company that runs Ee da le. This is not traditional Cantonese cuisine but a fusion. The menu wasn't so vast but each dish was delicious and innovative, and apparently the dessert menu is the most popular. The pork cooked on the iron plate was really juicy and delicious. This place was a bit more expensive than I expected and the portions are on the smaller side so I ordered a lot. This restaurant is probably better to come with friends rather than with a date. I felt that the staff service could be improved but the restaurant manager was really sincere throughout my dining.

I tried only drinks, which is wonderful. Ground floor is decorated in open air Old-Style Hong Kong theme. I have special cocktail that comes in Traditional glass, which is nice for photographing, and the taste is wonderful and unique. This place also serve local beer as well. The staff/bartender here are very nice and friendly that provide such a nice recommendation to you.

A new bar that thrives on 80s hk nostalgia, serving up local beer and some creative cocktails, while 80s cantopop music drowning the place. Snacks are so freaking expensive for what they are I wouldn’t pay for them. Come here for the refreshing environment and the fairground like vibe, and a few drinks of course!

A surprising delight from the hk local western fusion restaurant!! Not much praising needed, all I want to say is that I’m coming back for more to try new dishes! P.s. personally think the fried rice and 銀絲卷 are must try, while the cocktails are just mediocre.

We went there because there was an Eatigo discount (30% off at 19:30pm) and we wanted somewhere with fun drinks as well. We ordered the “signature” fried rice and the “innocent lamb” (Not entirely sure about the names, there were all really funny names). The food was very very good and enjoyed every single bite. However, we thought it was a bit overpriced especially the fried rice. There were barely 3 bowls of rice and it costs more than 200 HKD. It didn’t have any very rare ingredients in it. The lamb was phenomenal. My ordered the Hung Jo Mojito (red date mojito). It didn’t taste like red date. Was a bit disappointed for a drink that costs 128 HKD.

Stylist vintage decor with cuisine with a modern twist. Prices are on the high side, but definitely worth a try! Be sure to order the sweet dumplings for a surprise explosion. ;)

Not sure of what to make of Lee Lo Mei bar. It looks like a retro Hong Kong dive bar, decorated in the wet market style just for the expat crowd. I was not aware that they had upstairs seating for their restaurant. This is a review for the bar area only. It was our first stop in bar hopping since we were in the Lyndhurst Street area and stopped in for a drink. SO (who is Caucasian) was totally fascinated with this place with its white tiles and wet market look. I ordered Lee's Spritz (Peach Puree/Soda/Baiju/ Prosecco) and it was bubbly and refreshing. Service was attentive since we went early. We sat at the bar with my friend and had a great time people watching and enjoying our drinks. I think this is a great place to start bar hopping since you can walk to SoHo easily from here.

This restaurant and bar is awesome. I would definitely make my way over here everytime I visit Hong Kong! The ambience is super hip, and the crowd is mixed with locals and foreginers. I love how it's a modern type of restaurant, but they used an old school Hong Kong theme. We tried about 6 different foods and a few drinks and everything was very satisfying, minus the turnip cake swirl. That one tasted a bit off and won't be in my recommendations. The drinks there are very unique and all have some sort of Chinese twist. The ones we tried had tea in it, while some had rice wine and dates. One of the best things that we tried was the stuffed chicken wings. I forgot the name of it, but I can still remember the taste of it. Crispy skin of juicy meat with a special surprise of stick rice and half an abalone if you're lucky.

Lee lo Mei was the first stop for our reserved dinner on our HK trip, and boy did it disappoint. First up the atmosphere , nothing bad to say, it was hip old school Chinese super cool place! For the service it's there, people are friendly. We arrived a little earlier and sat at the bar until our reservation came and had some happy hour promos. Let's talk about food the reason why we came here. We ordered 5 things and 2 HH drinks. HK fries- served with cheese and salted egg yolk, side truffle mayo. The salted egg yolk can't be tasted but you could see the crumble, eating it by itself didn't taste anything at all. The truffle mayo was the star of the dish. Nice and pungent very addictive. Lemon grass shrimp- a play on Viet snack with sugar cane. Shrimp mixture was like a fried fishball though the mixture needs salt. Was served with a side of vinegar mixture, you'll need more than what they gave cuz there barely any taste. Squid stuff dough fritter- highlight of the meal, crispy exterior nice interior, sauce matched Grilled scallop- rip off. A play on bacon wrapped asparagus, but instead of bacon they use scallop. How ? Probably made a thing paste roll it up and grilled it. The scallop flavour is close to nothing might have just used fishball paste ... uni sauce was for color can't be tasted as well. Truffle sauce was good. Not worth ordering this dish. Almost a price of a large dish. Mini char Siu buns- delicious moist patty good chutney. Overall I was hoping for Lee Lo Mei to be a winner with exciting food options but it was barely there. Very disappointing food option . Though for cocktails and drinking different story. A vintage style canto restaurant that aim to bring back some old school dishes. Taste not bad, a bit salty for Cantonese food. Short staffed hard to get services. Ambience and decor not bad. Overpriced for sure. If you are a foreigner and want local canto tried other famous restaurants around the area.

My gf and I are on vaca in HK. We stumbled across Lee Lo Mei when we were walking to Man Mo Temple. It has a very heavy 70s/80s Hong Kong decor/feel. I was very skeptical with them using the term "mixologist" on their menu, but my assumption and perspective went away very quickly. They use very Hong Kong/Chinese ingredients to create some very different drinks. I was very impressed with the creativity and how original the drinks are. We spend most of the afternoon/evening trying out most of their speciality cocktails on their menu. I was very impressed with the Lee Chi and Tai Chi. And their service was amazing, very attentive. I would definitely come back the next time I visit Hong Kong. Don't pass them up!
