Loved the modern and funky vibe and the music. We enjoyed a bunch of dishes - simple but lovely pairings of ingredients. We really loved the snapper crudo and cappellacci. The menu rotates and each dish works really well with each other. Looking forward to be back!

LIVE LAUGH LOVE HOPE ST RADIO!! honestly this place is always amazing vibes, esp outside in the courtyard. i haven’t tried the inside for food, but their drinks and staff r so amazing. def reccomend going with a partner or a small group of friends, getting drinks on a sunny day sitting in the collingwood yards. staff r so funny and amazing with reccomendations, just amazing vibes and you can tell everyone actually enjoys working with each other.

I will always keep coming back to Hope St. I’ve been a number of times now, and somehow, it just keeps getting better. Whether it’s a date night, a celebratory dinner with friends, or just an excuse to treat yourself mid-week — this spot delivers every single time. One of the things I love most is how the menu constantly changes. It’s small and seasonal, which means everything they serve is intentional, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had a bad bite here — and that’s saying something. Their $60 set menu is one of the best value offerings in Melbourne: generous, vibrant, and packed with flavour (plus yes, it includes oysters and focaccia, which are obviously essentials). The interiors make the experience even more special. Housed in the Collingwood Yards precinct, the venue captures that perfect balance of relaxed and refined. The playful coloured artworks on the walls give it a creative edge, while the soft, moody lighting keeps things intimate and atmospheric — especially at night. There’s just something about Hope St Radio that feels effortless, but also incredibly well done. I love it here — and I don’t think I’ll ever stop going.

This is the wine bar Melbourne loves to hate. The only thing trendier than Hope St Radio is ragging on Hope St Radio. What you have to accept is that coming to Melbourne without having a drink here on a busy night is like going to Sydney without seeing the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Melbourne doesn’t have landmarks or beautiful geography like Sydney. It has ‘culture’: techno music, a party scene, lock-ins, kick-ons, weird fashion, distinctive wine bars and cafes and so on. All of this is deliberately cultivated to compensate for the lack of landmarks of the kind that God simply handed to Sydney on a silver platter. And so when you go to Hope St Radio, you are embarking on a sociological journey. You’re observing trust fund kids who spend fortunes on outfits designed to evoke homelessness, who claim to be broke while they drink like Winston Churchill, who need to be up at 11am tomorrow to get to the studio by 2pm but might not make it in at all because they’re practising self-care. You’re peering into the menagerie of inner-city Melbourne’s cliques, watching them orbit and recoil and collide and coalesce and splinter like atoms in a particle accelerator. It’s all good fun. You’re doing this while you sip excellent wine in a charming schoolyard setting with great music. The food is quite good too but that’s almost beside the point. The vibes here are high and if you can’t sit back and take it in and have a giggle and enjoy yourself then you are taking yourself way too seriously

Amazing. Went there for dinner with some wines and will definitely coming back. Prices were super reasonable for something a little more fancier. The focaccia is INSANE. I got my oasta vegan and was delicious too. Loved our orange wines. The guy serving us was super friendly and nice! Thank you ☺️

Been meaning to eat here for ages. I came once for drinks and told myself I’d come back for food—and finally did. Booked a table for 12 last Saturday for my birthday (yes, I’m that person). Honestly, I was impressed. Having worked in hospitality before, I know feeding 12 hungry gremlins is no small task, but the team handled it like pros. We got the $60 set menu. Some hits, some misses. I’m still not sure what they were trying to achieve with the anchovy in tomato water situation. I get that anchovy is salty (that’s the whole point), but pairing it with salty focaccia? Felt like I was being seasoned from the inside out. Pasta was where it’s at though. The pork rigatoni and the silverbeet one were both chef’s kiss. Cooked al dente, sauced up properly… like someone actually tasted it before sending it out. Dessert was solid too, and the wine list is stacked. The real MVP of the night was Alice. Absolute legend. Super friendly, knew the menu and wine inside out, and let us linger past our two-hour slot without making it weird. She even laughed at our chaotic table banter. Queen energy. Honestly, this place is a vibe. Food’s tasty, wine’s flowing, and if your sodium levels are low, they’ve got you covered. Would definitely come back, next time with a smaller group so I can hoard more food and try the other dishes without sharing.

We have just indulged in our work christmas party at Hope St Radio and not a single section disappointed. All the food and drink were beautiful. Very cool bar and restaurant, fab selection of wines (recommend the chilled red!) delicious set menu for $60pp and our service from Daisy was incredible - she was so lovely and attentive to our every need. It has a great vibe on a Saturday night, with a fab live dj providing background music
