We went for lunch whilst on a 4 day stay on Bruny Island. We thought the wines were very good, I really liked the Chardonnay. However, the food wasn’t so great, especially for the price. I had the seafood chowder which was nice, and packed full of fresh seafood. However my partner had the lamb rack, which was chewy, not very tender and hard to cut off the bone. We found the service was little rushed, I guess most people don’t stop long there as many are on day trips, whereas we like to stay a while for winery lunches.
Overall it was generally a positive experience.
