Very good, service, food and everything. I eat there when it isn't crowded since the space is rather small. However, even crowded, that place is still lovely ^-^ Food is really good, but may get expensive quickly if you add drinks, desert, etc. In addition to the main course of your choosing. Despite its price, I still recommend it. The food is delicious and worth it.

Gorgeous location in the heart of the buzzling walkways. Charmingly tucked into a corner, offering outside seating, opposite a treelined avenue. You really couldnt beat the location neither the delicious options. Traditional english breakfasts, the best poached eggs. Sublime!!!

Excellent food (really lovely banana bread toast!) , coffee and service in a pleasant location. We sat upstairs in the mezzanine overlooking a small square and thouroughly enjoyed our time at Cafe Fiance. Would definitley recommend.

After travelling in France and Italy I finally found a great coffee. Gorgeous husband and wife team, best coffee in Toulouse.

If you‘d fancy a coffee, very good choice. Hungry? Better Look for another Location. The pancakes are Very dry and 100% not fresh. Can’t Tell anything about the Toast. The staff is very friendly.

This is one of the best brunches I have ever had in life and definitely the best I’ve experienced in France! Customer service is top notch, everybody is super friendly and the food also came out really quickly. Pro tip, arrive early, it gets busy early.

Very good espresso drinks and professional (manual) machine. They are super nice and accommodating with customizations, which make the drinks excellent!! My main customization: not too hot / pas trop chaud. I found that *many* cafes burn the milk, so with this little tweak, the lattes are amazing. The staff I interacted with is super nice!!

They had a really delicious lunch special today for only 15€---marinated mushroom salad was exquisite, croissant sandwich with ham, cheese and pesto and a green side salad--also fantastic and savory, and a cold drink. It was perfect, sitting in the shade in a beautiful and peaceful section of downtown Toulouse. The coffee also perfect, as others have noted. Highly recommend!

We had the pancakes and fruit with granola and yogurt. The food is your simple and small portioned for the price it is. The coffee with good.

Delish!! Stopped here for brunch and it brought me back to a good ol high quality American brunch. Absolutely adored the food. If you can get one of their cookies! The dark chocolate hazelnut is to die for!!

Good coffee is surprisingly hard to find in Toulouse (indeed, in France). La Fiancée is a refreshing exception. They nail a cafe au lait, a cortado, an espresso... basically anything that involves coffee and/or milk. Good food is of course not hard to find, and La Fiancée is no exception. Try the granola if you want something sweet and don't hesitate to get the eggs if you prefer something savory. The chocolate chip cookie here is to die for. $500 reward to anyone who can convince the proprietor to reveal the recipe ;) Update: $1500 reward. A friend asked me to add his thoughts to my review: "Not everyone who runs a business runs it with such pride and enthusiasm, making the best out of their job, the food, the relationship with customers--running a cafe as best as one possibly can. A "virtuous" cafe, in the Aristotelian sense of the word."

I was brought here by a friend who raved that this place takes coffee very seriously and: they do. The coffees are roasted to a mildly bitter perfection. The multilingual (English, French, Spanish) staff were patient and friendly. Order and the bar and wait for some first rate coffee. I was told that the brunches are amazing too, but was here for the amazing coffee. The art of coffee in Toulouse!

This is the best coffee shop in Toulouse! If you want a "Portland Feel" this the only place in town to come!!!

Amazing little place in the heart of Toulouse! Incredible espresso and coffee, which is a bit rare in Toulouse in my experience. It's what you would think of as "craft" coffee in the states, aka your average hipster Seattle place. The food is amazing as well, the pancakes I had were unbelievable. The server dude is friendly, funny, speaks English, and perhaps a bit flirty. Win-wins all around.

A lovely little place for breakfast. Staff were really caring and spoke English to us which was a great help. I had the special de jour which was a toasted brioche sandwich with chorizo, roasted tomato, mozzarella and a fried egg, which was absolutely lovely. My girlfriend had the Granola which she said was just perfect which came with natural yogurt, banana and kiwi. We are so glad we found this place, there is also a wide range of homemade cakes and pastries that also looked lovely. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was that went two days in a row...because it was so good, but on the second visit the granola was made ever so slightly different...still really good but not as good as it was made the first time most likely due to a different chef or cook. Either way I couldn't recommend this place enough for the excellent food quality great coffee and amazing staff

I was there with my girlfriend for breakfast. We took 2 espressos that were good and short (must have been about 12 milliliters), they cost 1.9€ a piece. We then got a scrambled eggs and potatoes, and granola with yogurt and fruits (8.5€ each). Food was good but quantity is quite small and the food is really simple, so it is hard to justify the price you pay. Our waiter didn't remember our order correctly, so since it was quite small, the eggs were finished by the time granola arrived. Overall a decent breakfast experience.

Had an absolutely wonderful time in Toulouse with La Fiancée as our go-to coffee spot. I hate to say it, as much as I love France, that the average quality level of the coffee is low. The quality of coffee and all food items is of the highest level and would rival anything in San Francisco. In addition, the staff/owners are incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming. The main guy treated us like an old friend each time we visited and even gave us a list of good coffee spots in Paris for the last stage of our trip. I can not recommend this place highly enough. It was one of those memorable parts of a trip that you never forget. Merci beaucoup, mes amis!

WOW great food and great service. The waitress spoke perfect English and was so nice and patient with us. She accommodated our group of 7 and translated the entire menu into English for us. The food was absolutely incredible as well. The savory pancakes were to die for, and they had some of the best cookies i have ever had. 10/10 would recommend

My favorite coffee shop in Toulouse. Nice staff. Their brunch is also really good. And that's coming from a person that lived 10 years in Brooklyn!

I have been coming here during my lunch break to finish some work. The chai latte and regular latte I have tried have been great. Make sure you order a cookie with your drink, they are delicious. Going to continue to come back and try their other drinks (and pastries too)! The baristas are friendly and welcoming :)

Best coffee in town, by miles and without a doubt. I just wish they wouldn't automatically speak English. We want to practice our French and want smiles and encouragement!

This is a rarity in France: Seattle style coffee house (no, not the mermaid from pikes place). Vacuum coffee, drip, espresso, and great lattes. It's a cozy place with seating above the bar.

Coffee was delicious and the two owners were a delight, however it was a bit pricey. Still, worth a visit if you're craving a decent cup 'o Joe.

The closest thing to Australian coffee in Toulouse. Quite expensive compared to what you'd pay in Oz - $21AUD for two lattes and an espresso. Friendly and helpful baristas.

Excellent coffee! Friendly service! Gracious with non-French speakers! Go! Now! Ordered the latte and carrot cake. Carrot cake is not sickly sweet and the icing is buttery and delicious. No outside seating but there is a loft inside and some right up by the ooen window. They take credit cards, too!

This place has a good brunch by French standards and a fair number of things were tasty. However, it is extremely uncomfortable and the set menu, while relieving in one sense, in the end does limit options. So probably the best Brunch place in Toulouse if you are craving brunch, but certainly not a "must-visit".
