Cute interior and very friendly service! You order at the counter and then pick up your food to sit down. It took a little while to get our food, but that's how you can tell it was fresh - and when we got our food, it was very, very hot! The side of fries were delicious and I would highly recommend the ranch which was very seasoned. The mac & cheese was just OK for me. It's pretty standard mac & cheese. The sandwich itself had a huge piece of chicken and was very filling. I went with the classic with one star spice, but I wish I tried one of their other fun sandwiches! The classic was good because the chicken was good, but other than that, it was just a plain chicken sandwich. For the price I kind of wish I ventured out. Overall, a pretty pricey sando, but you do get a lot of food! Would definitely return! They serve alcohol too!

Hands down best chicken sandwich in all of Seattle. I got spice level 2 with cheese added and it's PERFECTION. Little bit of tingly, HUGE piece of chicken, and a fluffy bun. Seattle food scene often disappoints, but in this case, it's so fantastic. I'll add that I've also tried their chicken tenders in the past, but they use breast meat, so I feel like it's a bit too dry - definitely not the case with the chicken sandwich. Give it a try!!

Taste: 5/5 Price: Fair Chicken was good. The breading was nice, seemed fancier than other fried chicken I've had which is admittedly not much. Portion size was quite generous, more than I expected. Mac and cheese was good. The Sassy Sauce was as abstract as its name. I liked the chicken decorations. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

This is the place my fiance and I order from when we don't know what we want for dinner. Why? Because Cookie's Country Chicken *consistently* delivers amazing food. The variety of dipping sauces, each loaded with flavor, perfectly complements the chicken. They offer different spice levels for the batter - levels 1-2 are our favorites. The sandwiches are delish, and the chicken tender meals are my personal favorite. Comes with a TON of fries, plus you pick an additional side. Ordering takeout food is a breeze, and dining in is an offers plenty of seating. We've always had great experiences with their service! A must try for chicken lovers near the Ballard area!

This place makes a good ole fried chicken sando. It was crispy without being greasy and the chicken was moist. They didn't overdo it on the sauce and the service was quick and friendly. There isn't always seating so be prepared to order to go if you can't get a seat. Overall a good place for a quick bite.

Update... Please be aware, I got salmonella from this location. It's been about a week since I've ate here & I haven't been able to keep any food since. I hope this grabs their attention to speak to their employees about cleanliness and the proper way to cook..

So I wanted to like this place. The reviews gave me hope. Plenty of street parking out front, lots of People inside eating, things were looking good. The restaurant looks great when you first walk in. The cashier had a great personality and was helpful. It was all downhill from there after I placed my order. I got the 3 piece meal and selected two strips and a leg with the cayenne pepper seasoning. The food took forever to come out and when it did I took one look at the basket and was completely underwhelmed. The chicken was very greasy which is a bad sign at a fried chicken joint. The strips were entirely too big and looked more like boneless skinless breasts cut into 3rd and then called chicken tenders. When I say big I'm talking both too thick and too wide. The chicken leg was undercooked, tasted rubbery and i didn't bother taking a second bite of it. Both the strips and the leg had a nice spice from the cayenne but was under seasoned beyond that. The French fries tasted like basic grocery store frozen seasoned fries that I make in the air fryer at home- half of them were stuck together which is a no no. Where is the quality control ? The collard greens had a nice spice to them but I struggled to understand why they were so sweet. I've never had greens that were so sweet. You are supposed to add a little sugar to cut the bitterness of the greens but good lord. They added cups of sugar to this pot. No thanks. All and all I was very disappointed in my lunch and I will not be returning here. Also, i am concerned about the undercooked chicken. After going through the comments this is not the first time someone has been served chicken that wasn't cooked properly. Like chef, owner, whoever needs to hear this come on now you are running a fried chicken joint. You have one job.......

The best fried chicken I've get tried, the sandwich at 3 stars was perfect! Perfect balance of spice & a tasty chicken. Austin provided great service. 100% the only fried chicken place I can go to now

Am I missing something?! Why do I feel like I was bamboozled?! Overall, I feel this place is mediocre at best. First time I tried coming here I walked in and waited in what I thought to be the line to order. However 10 minutes in and people kept passing through the front desk but no one to acknowledge the people in line? Asked around and everyone seemed to be just as confused as I was. Needless to say I left. Fast forward and figured I'd give it another shot by ordering online. Order said it would be done in 20. When I got there in 20, it was busy so it was an additional 10 minutes or so to get my order to go. No biggy. Ordered an array of things to try...the chicken nuggets, a thigh, fries, pot of gold (mashers, gravy, and corn) and plenty of sauces. I only live 3 blocks away and by time I got home the nuggets were already soggy. I ordered it 1 star spicy...but somehow they still lacked flavor? Fries were overly salty and somehow my chicken was not salty at all. The thigh was the saving grace, but certainly nothing to write home about. The pot of gold was simply meh. Again, didn't feel like it was well flavored and simply mediocre. The sauces...the sweet and sour tasted watered down. All others were OK. For $30 there was more food than I could eat, but it wasn't very good. I don't think I'll return.

Came in for the first time tonight and my only regret is not stopping in sooner! I got the chicken tender basket with fries and mashed potatoes, and then for sauce- ranch and honey mustard. The chicken was SO GOOD. Extremely moist with a wonderful crunchy exterior. The fries had a great crunch to potato ratio and I loved the mashed potatoes- only wish there had been more gravy. My boyfriend had the slawsome sandwich with level 3 spice. He loves spicy food and said it was fantastic flavor to heat combo, and especially liked the pickles. The service was friendly, efficient and very fast! Can't wait to come back!

Family meal is a great value - was able to feed 6 of us with some leftovers! Chicken is pretty good - hot and juicy. But the sides are better - fries, mac n cheese, and the mashed potatoes with gravy and corn. Yum!

Came today with a group of 7. We got a mix of sandwiches, bowls and bone-in chicken with most of the different sides. The guy taking our orders was very friendly but honestly doesn't help too much when they love everything on the menu and can't point you in a direction. Barn Burner Sandwich, Chicken Sando, 3 Piece Combo, fries, pot of gold The food is great and if we are in the area we will come back! The restaurant is bright and cheery with music playing a bit louder than I would prefer but a great selection. There are about 8 tables in the place so even packed it wouldn't feel too crowded.

YUM! Hubby was craving a fried chicken sandwich one night when we were in the Ballard area, so we searched the internet and found Cookie's. We both really enjoyed our chicken sandwiches. Juicy chicken inside and crunchy outside! They also have really good fries and a ton of tasty sauces. We ended up getting one of each sauce to try them all! Wasn't impressed with the Mac n cheese. I'll skip that next time. But the sandwiches and fries/sauces are bomb!

We were excited to see a new highly rated chicken restaurant to get some family to go food from but they don't have a full menu! While a little dark meat is nice , our family likes the breasts and wings more! This place does not fry whole parts on the bone beyond thighs and drums. The cheaper parts. We would pay more for a variety. We didn't order because the staff member was in a rush and it seems like the lazy boneless diners have won out here! If you are the boneless type you might love this like my kids. But we like actually good fried chicken and great sides around it. I think this owner is trying to do the simple and more profitable menu items. His rent must be stupid I'm sure so it's understandable but just not for us after this attempt to order. We had planned to stop by and pick up a called in order but didn't get past the hurried person on the phone. So we grabbed some Ezells since we can count on that having a variety of bone in chicken. We went from excited to try a new place to not caring to. If you are afraid to eat around the bones and crispy skin then this is probably your joint!

Solid place for chicken items. Initially I thought everything was on the pricier side (ie 3 tenders and two sides for $16). I ordered for take out through their website (note that the Uber Eats menu is missing a lot of items from their direct site). Tendies combo with fries: 3 pieces that comes with fries and an additional side of your choosing. The chicken tenders were juicy, crunchy, and had flavor by itself. The fries were super crunchy and my other side of Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious (still can't beat Beecher's in my opinion though). Overall although pricier, there's a lot of items. Poutine: I couldn't pass getting an order of poutine. The dish is pretty salty so be sure to portion and drink lots of water. The poutine is topped with a lot of chicken - almost 3-4 tenders that are cut up so it was a meal in itself. Overall, a pretty solid spot for good chicken.

Amazing food and great customer service. Left my belly really full and satisfied. Great sitting places and free water. Morgan was a really good help for our first time being there. And was really nice to us.

We stumbled on to this place and it was a happy accident. The base is a thick chicken breast, exactly the way I like it. I was a bit chicken and just to the level two spice. Next time I'll try the level three and see how it goes. The place was a bit slow for a Saturday but they had plenty of takeout orders. I must remember to skip the sides. The fried chicken is bad and good enough. The sides are nothing to write to yelp about.

We stopped here for lunch after hitting our favorite comic book store, per their recommendation. Holy cow we are so glad we did! I got the 2 piece tenders with spice(level 2/cayenne) with fries and my boyfriend got the 2 piece dark meat with the pot of gold(mashed, gravy, and corn) Service was friendly and our food came out piping hot 15-20 minutes after ordering. It was so delicious! Really juicy and great spice level. The habanero ranch was a little thin so it drips off the fries when dipping but the flavor was great, just personally prefer a thicker dipping sauce. Everything was seriously so good. Fries and chicken still tasted good left over hours later when I had them for dinner. Can't wait to go back. We have found our new lunch spot when we come to town.

Alright, let's talk chicken sandwiches. Found this killer spot in Ballard, Seattle. Man, it's like they sprinkled some magic on their fried chicken or something, 'cause it's top-notch every single time. Doesn't matter if I'm chilling there or getting it delivered to my place, which is a good half-hour away, it always looks and tastes on point. Now, inside the joint, they've got these cool paintings - Trappey's Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ. Yep, you guessed it, that's their sandwich's secret sauce (literally). Makes me think they're doing a high-end Shake Shack kinda vibe. The way they wrap these sandwiches, though? Pure genius. No mess, no fuss. The veggies look fresh, the bun's solid, and everything just... works. Even went for their spicy "level 3" once, and guess what? Ate it right before a big meet-up and didn't even need a napkin. If you're looking for a comparison, think Popeye's but like, ten times craftier. Only tiny hiccup? The place itself could use a bit of a makeover, especially the bar. But hey, when the sandwich is this good, who's looking at the decor? For me, hands down, best chicken sandwich in town.

Came in on a whim and based off of the pictures already posted in previous reviews. As soon as we walked in Austin greeted us and talked us through the process and was very helpful! The chicken was soooopo juicy and had so much flavor! We got a side sauce of ranch but Austin suggested two other sauce flavors and he was absolutely correct. Glad we were able to try the different flavors they had because it complemented the chicken well! If I lived in Seattle I would most likely be here once a week. Thanks Austin and cookies!

Staff was friendly and atmosphere was comfortable. Chicken cooked to order so the wait is accordingly. Chicken arrived piping hot, fresh and smelled wonderful. Collard greens were very sweet. Never have experienced sweet collards. Mac n cheese was gorgeous but didn't have any flavor. Fresh chicken, freshly fried and huge prices of chicken arrived. The batter is spot on but unfortunately the chicken was ultra salty. Couldn't finish more than one piece. Place was busy for a Friday afternoon!

Had my first experience with this place through DoorDash today and I'm thoroughly satisfied. I ordered the 4-piece strips and a small Mac and Cheese, both of which were delicious (so much so that I couldn't resist starting on the strips before taking a photo). I'm a big fan of crispy chicken strips, and while I have a favorite spot, Cookie's is now a strong contender. The only potential drawback is a bit more seasonings than I would like (such as paprika, and I love seasonings) on the chicken, a matter of personal preference - I think a bit less would be better (again personal preference as others very likely like a lot of seasonings). Nevertheless, the chicken is remarkably tender and juicy, surpassing the tenderness of my other favorite strips. The overall quality and size are spot-on, and the ranch complements it perfectly. It's evident why people rave about the chicken here. Keep up the excellent work! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

All we wanted was mac and cheese. Actually it was my companion who wanted it. And not many places offer it, so we came here. They gave us mac and cheese, a good quantity at a good price, and fast. The ambience was lacking but fine. My companion enjoyed his mac and cheese and ate the whole thing. I should add that my companion is not a very discerning eater. But we got what we came for, and that was good.

Came on national fried chicken day when they were having great deals and it was SUPER busy and very hot outside and inside but person at front counter was running food/ working register was KILLING IT! Around 7:00, peak grub hours- he was very friendly and efficient , we see and appreciate you!

I love having this in Ballard. Every time I've had fried chicken here it's been moist and not dried out. Orders take awhile to come out (5-10 min) which to me is a good thing, I don't want my chicken under a heat lamp. I recently went for national fried chicken day which meant specials during lunchtime, but all the other times they've been equally kind, clean and delicious. I do spice level 4, I'd equate it to right around the Bul Dak (fire chicken) noodles. Pretty spicy but no pain. 5 would be pain. Owner says he can also do a 6 but it's not on the menu.

Cookies country fried chicken! Every time I mention this place, friends ask, they have cookies?! I have to disappoint them breaking the news that Cookie is the presumed person this place is named after. That all aside, this is some good eating here. Cookies seems to often have "Too good to go" food from here, food at a discount, probably bound for garbage. I've scored large bowls of Mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese on a couple visits and they make excellent sides. The Mac & cheese isn't the most flavorful I've had, but it's good and most importantly cheesy. The Mashed potatoes you best believe is soaked in that delicious gravy. Last visit I they gave 3 scoops! It was soo good and for only like $5! You can't beat it. How's the chicken? Well, it's crispy, it's country, it's Cookies Country Chicken! It's quite good and welcomed as there isn't a wealth of fried chicken places to speak of. There isn't even a Popeyes around here that I know of, so thank you Cookie! I haven't had the pleasure of trying their spicy, so that will be next on the list, but thus far, the chicken and sides have kept me coming back for more. Anytime it pops up on the "Too good to go", no question about it, I'm there!

Excellent chicken, crispy skin, tender and juicy, fantastic dry rub flavors and nice and spicy. Lots of dipping sauce options and especially good crispy French fries. Thumbs up. We'll be back!

Just trying to write this review is making me drool... I met up with a friend for lunch, and after going through a long list of lunch options, we settled on Cookie's. I love spicy, crispy chicken sandwiches, and I have had my share of great and not-so-great ones in the area. Today, I got the slawsome chicken sandwich at a 2-star "cayenne heat" level with a side of mac-n-cheese. It may be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The food is made to order, so it came out piping hot. The outside had an unbelievable crunch, and tender, juicy chicken awaited inside. The tangy slaw and zingy pickles were the perfect compliment. Next time, I may go up a star in heat. The Cayenne heat offered a very mild heat, but I didn't want to overdo it on my first try. The mac-n-cheese was creamy and cheesy, and quite tasty. I had to add a little salt and pepper to my taste, but it was a solid side. I wish I had taken a picture of the delicious sandwich, but I had no idea I was about to enter into a long-term relationship with Cookie's. If you are in the Ballard area, or even just the Seattle area, do yourself a favor and head to Cookie's. Parking is never easy in this area, but if you give yourself time and check the side roads, you'll probably find yourself in luck most times. It only took me about five minutes to find a spot on a busy Saturday afternoon. I would like to say I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu...but why lie? I can't imagine getting anything other than another slawsome chicken sandwich!

For my fellow Austinites: this place is better than Gus's and Lucy's fried chicken. You have to check it out! If that doesn't mean anything to you, Cookie's chicken is truly out of this world. I highly recommend getting the spicy slawsome with extra pickles -the slaw helps cut through the spice. The breading on the chicken is amazing; not too much to where you wonder if you're even eating chicken and not too little to where you can't taste the spice. The fries are incredible too, they have the perfect crisp on the outside and that chewy inside that enhances the seasoning. And how could I not mention their creamy Mac & cheese? It's exactly what I picture cartoon Mac & cheese tasting like! (In a great way ofc) The staff is super friendly too! We hadn't realized we were missing a side but the cashier came running out after us in this 35 degree weather just to give it to us! TLDR: go to Cookie's already!

Ordered online and went to pick up, my 1st time trying Cookie's. I didn't realize it's right on Market until en route; that's convenient overall but I worried I'd have to park blocks away. Happily, plenty of open spaces right in front at noon on a Wednesday. Service was prompt and very pleasant. My order was ready (I was 10 minutes later than their estimate so I wasn't worried about it being ready). Sandwich, fries and my side all remained hot and fresh until I got them home to eat. All were delicious. Sandwich was perfectly breaded and juicy chicken. A little "messy" which feels right for these but not such a sloppy mess that I couldn't put it down or enjoy my drink. So it was ideal. I'll be back; it was fantastic. I'm only disappointed I didn't find any cookies in the shop....

Our chicken and fries were served piping hot. We all got different things and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was great and I enjoyed the cool music being played. We will be back!

This place came up on my radar last year when a new location in SODO was announced, At that point, I wasn't sure if I would make the drive or just wait until they came closer to me. That said, a good piece of fried chicken is worth the drive, so I headed out today. Although there is plenty to like, this place is not without flaw and I can't come close to giving it 5, let alone 4 stars. There are several places in this area that have amazing food, but the lowest common denominator is the horrible parking. I got lucky and only had to circle the block once before finding a space. Once inside, I witnessed what was a gross misuse of space. At present, it doesn't appear their bar is functional, but what could be 16 seats easy is now reduced to about 6. Also, when space I limited and you are popular, I think you should politely post notice that it's appreciated if you vacate your seat when done dining. I watched a family pull out a deck of cards and play games for at least 15 minutes after finishing their meal while others are waiting for a table. That is rude in my book and unacceptable. The music inside was also obnoxiously loud. My first thought was my parents might want to check this place out, but I know they couldn't take the noise The music either needs to be turned down or the speaker needs to be elevated so it's not pointed face level. I couldn't even have a conversation with my partner. My last knock would be the heat scale. I believe it was 1-4, I went with3 just to be safe. I can handle the heat, but what many fail to do is increase the flavor when they increase the heat. Heat without flavor is pretty much trash. In this case, the heat doesn't come from marinade, it appears they have a dry rub they toss the chicken in after frying to achieve this effect. I dug the heat and appreciated it wasn't a wet mess, but it was a peppery bland experience. It would have greatly benefited from some salt or seasoning. Now that I swung on this place, let me break down why you should check them out. My meal was hot and fresh Those are two things you don't see at Ezell's much anymore. Rarely is the chicken either there. The portion was large. People sitting next to us immediately said they needed a box when their meal was served. Once our meal was served, it was clear to me that I was likely going to tap out close to halfway done and that is exactly what I did. That said, the pricing was really fair. I didn't feel the least bit slighted or cheated and that is a sensation I rarely have dining out. How does this place improve, well I already stated it. Control the population by not allowing valuable real-estate to be monopolize, I'm fine with taking a few minutes to let a meal settle, but anyone customer or management who allows others from sitting down to enjoy a meal after a few minutes is a jerk. Turn down the music. Having a meal is a great time to have a conversation, especially while waiting and I couldn't hear myself think in here. Last, after serving a hot fresh plate, ensure those pieces of chicken are infused with flavor, so if you add heat, add flavor to complement the heat as well. I certainly would not drive back to Ballard for this experience and honestly probably wouldn't drive to Sodo either. I'd assume the thought of Ezell's intimidates some, but from a flavor perspective, they are tough to beat. This place is better than any other chicken place with the exception of Ezell's. It may not always be hot, but at least Ezell's is full of flavor and 5 minutes in a piping hot oven will bring that chicken back to life. The flavor here did not impress me and the sauces they offered didn't do much to improve the flavor of the chicken. I can recommend this place in general, but not for me. I need more flavor in my meal and this place would benefit from true southern recipes.

Inconsistent but sometimes really good I live nearby in Ballard and the first time I went I was blown away with how good the chicken was. I lived in Texas so I have some idea of what fried chicken is supposed to be like - Cookie's knocked it out of the park. I was keen on making this my go-to spot but the second time around (both times I got the spicey slawsome) the quality definatley took a dip - mainly just bland and not as generous of a portion. The amount of spice (both times I ordered 4 our of 5) was also inconsistent. The $1 charge to place on online order also seems like an odd move, that's a new one on me. Overall its not a bad place but I can see why some reviews are glowing while others are less favorable. If you're lucky you'll get some amazing chicken but otherwise you'll just get something that's so-so

The chicken is very tasteful and well prepared as are the fries. Cole slaw is tasteful and fresh. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is relaxed but tasteful. The portions are large. The prices are reasonable and economical. The service is very expeditious and courteous. I highly recommend this Ballard restaurant.

This is more like a 3.5 but rounding up. Service is simple. Go up to the counter and order, they will bring your food to your table, and at the end you bus yourself when finished. What I tried this time: Barn Burner Chicken Sandwich (spice level 2- cayenne): This was pretty good! The spice level was perfect for not wanting pain on my tongue, but wanting a kick of flavor. The lettuce, mayo and pickles complemented the crispy juicy chicken well. Chicken Bites (spice level 3- habanero): This spice level builds as you chew. It's good when you want the kind of spice that'll give you a bit of a runny nose, but you can still continue to eat and enjoy your food without stopping to pant. The bites were meaty, crispy and juicy. However, the seasonings were unevenly dispersed- it would've been nice if it was more balanced. Fries: These fries have the best texture out of any fries I've had in Seattle! Super crispy on the outside, nice and potatoey on the inside. They could use a bit more salt or maybe some spice seasonings to take it up one more notch. Mac & Cheese: This was nice and creamy, lots of cheese flavor... but it didn't stand out compared to other mac & cheeses I've had. I don't like that the small extras (like sauce, spice) didn't come with the meal, but overall this is a good place to stop by for fried chicken in Ballard!

The reviews of this place were awesome, so I just had to try it. If I have to sum up this place in just one word it wouldn't be too difficult to do. Drum roll please! Popeyes Two words? Popeyes knockoff. Three words? Overpriced Popeyes knockoff.

Solid chicken, large portion sizes, good sides, and tasty sauces! I enjoyed our dinner from Cookie's. We both tried the tenders as well as the fries, coleslaw, and Mac n cheese. The tenders, fries, and coleslaw were very good! I also enjoyed the dipping sauces. They have a good selection of options. The mac n cheese was just okay, I would probably skip that in the future. You can order online for pick up easily. Prices for the portion sizes I thought were fair. Worth a try!

We stopped in here again a year later and everything was consistently great as last year. We had two orders of the 2 piece fried chicken with a side lunch special and an order of Poutine. The 2 piece is a thigh and drumstick and we each chose mac n cheese for our side. The Poutine is a large bowl filled with their crispy fries and topped with bite sized chicken nuggets and gravy and cheese. All of our items were very tasty. The star here is the fried chicken. Very hot and crispy and juicy inside. I like the minimal spices as it doesn't overpower the chicken. Great staff, we got served by Corwin again (Go Tide!) and the place was pretty steady with business. I recommend Cookie's Country Chicken for a great meal.

The food is phenomenal!! I've had their classic sandwich 5 days in a row now. 5!! My only feedback is the size of the chicken breasts used on the sandwiches. I waste so much food. A junior sandwich would be fantastic and make the restaurant a more suitable choice to feed kids or small eaters.

My husband LOVED his Barn Burner sandwich, so that was a plus! The fries were salty and delicious, too. The chicken bites were pretty good, but not fabulous. We were bummed that they were out of poutine! Their sides were pretty meager for what they cost. I did rather enjoy their clearly-fake-cheese mac and cheese because I love the creaminess sodium citrate lends, so customers, know this: if you're in the mood for fake cheese Mac (which I definitely was!), you'll love this. If you're looking for homemade roux-based a la Beechers, this isn't it. Service was decent, I guess. The person who took our order seemed a bit unenthusiastic, but customers are often difficult to deal with, so who knows what she was out through before we got to the counter? The one thing that kind of left me unsettled was the gentleman who walked in with a dog on a leash, which he then dropped off behind the front counter, and then walked out of the kitchen 2 minutes later with our to go order. I'm a dog lover and not a huge germaphobe, but the whole of King County sure seemed to be for the last few years, so I have to wonder if he even washed his hands. I dunno, that rubbed me the wrong way, I guess. All in all, my husband will likely want to come back for the Barn Burner. I'm hoping poutine is available next time because the fries were delicious and I imagine the Beechers curds on top would be chef's kiss. I would only hope the next experience there wouldn't be so odd to warrant a multi-paragraph review, like this experience was.

Fantastic chicken sandwiches! They were so juicy on the inside perfectly crisp on the outside. Three stars had the ideal amount of heat and the sides were great too. Wish this place was closer because we'd be there all the time!

Loved our experience at Cookie's! We got both bowls and the classic chicken sandwich with fries and Mac and cheese. Each of the bowls were smothered in rich, flavorful gravy and plenty of big chicken bites. The sandwich was perfect. Crispy, hot chicken with plenty of mayo and crisp, cold veggies! Their fries are super crispy and freshly fried. I loved their honey mustard sauce- it was sweet and paired perfectly with the sandwich. We also got some Mac & cheese. It was soooo cheesy, like that good coats your mouth and velvety cheese. We can't wait to go back and try their bone in chicken!!

Happened to be walking by after eating at a Thai restaurant down the street that didn't quite satisfy. We got the Barn burner sandwich with fries and a Strawberry Crush pop. Habanero spice level delivered, fries were crispy perfect and service was excellent. We definitely want to come back before our holiday trip in Seattle is over.

Had some big chicken pieces from here recently along with some coleslaw. The chicken was great! very crispy and juicy on the inside. I liked how filling it was and very flavorful. The coleslaw left a little to be desired though. I liked that it wasn't overly mayonnaise-y, but it needed more salt and sweetness perhaps. The staff was friendly and the inside looked very nice. They have a bar area separate from the chicken counter. They also have some TVs showing sports games. Plus there's a bit of sidewalk seating in the font if you want to sit outside.

I really like both the fries and the chicken sandwich. For the sides there, you gotta get the fries, the seasoning is top tier. And for the sandwich when it came was hot juicy and crispy!

Best fried chicken sandwich around! Have loved them since they were a pop-up down in Georgetown. The sandwich somehow stays crispy & delicious to the last bite, unlike some that get a bit soggy from the sauce etc. I just wish they still had breasts & wings, but the sandwich is amazing, so I'm never disappointed. I'm also really glad to hear they're opening another joint closer to us, down in Pioneer Square.

The best fried chicken in Seattle! You should try the bowl or the bag o' bites. We drive from West Seattle for Cookies.
