Verve Coffee Roasters

Modern coffee joint that we stopped off at during our walk from Minato City to Roppongi. Definitely more catered to a younger crowd, the vibes here are very hip and laid back. The drinks were pretty good as well. There are two floors but the place was packed when we went.

The cafe is quite unique that they provide coffee samples for customer tasting. This is excellent for me trying different flavours of the coffee before making any decision. I choose their signature coffee, Latte Valencia. The barista shaved some orange peels on top of the latte giving extra citrus flavour. I impressed with the coffee taste pairing with the orange peels. Latte Valencia is an excellent latte. Next time, I would like to try their breakfast with freshly made Waffle and also their pastries. It is worth noting that this cafe can overlook Tokyo tower and some outdoor seatings.

Very good coffee, the shot pull was smooth, the drip coffee was lovely too! The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great too. My only complaint to the staff is not ensuring that all customers are taken care of. I wasn’t comfortable with having a customer bring their pet inside the cafe while placing an order and in the pickup area since they didn’t carry their pet but instead allowed them to move freely without adjusting their leash. I am trying to work on my cynophobia and I’ve never experienced this at any of the cafes here in Japan… I did notice though if the majority seems to be alright they don’t take any action or dismiss how the other customer would be treated… Hoping this improves or maybe it’s a Roppongi thing… but yeah great coffee!

Very fancy looking coffee shop in Roppongi. But it is less fancy than just good. It comes with high quality (and slightly higher prices too). The set up is beautiful. Lots of light which makes it a good place to work. They also have plenty of seating (on two floors plus terrace). Coffee was delicious and the sandwich was too. Great place to start your Roppongi day.

Lovely Coffee shop in Roppongi, very high quality. The lovely waitress was very kind as I stepped in to order two Americanos with the roast of the day and two chewy cinnamon cookies in my limited Japanese and celebrated my success enthusiastically. Coffee was lovely and the vibes were warm and welcoming, don't miss it!

Wowwww Verve is so damn gooooood. Every time I visit Tokyo, Verve is A MUST coffee shop on my list. For me it’s an everyday coffee, also a simply place to have a quiet morning by myself, and also a great place to grab someone out and have a good coffee talk in relax hours. i love Verve. Love their coffee, love their bakery, love their atmosphere, love their staffs, and love their locations.

Went there for my breakfast. Had their signature latte. Was good, but too sweet to my liking. Avocado sandwich was tasty. Atmosphere is great to enjoy a cup of coffee and people watch.

Pour over coffee is good. Varista's technique is spot on and the flavors really come out. You can also sample before you order. Beans also available.
