La Combine

I really hesitated writing this review since I don't want to have to wait in line any longer for ice cream... La Combine is soft serve at its creative best. The young ladies that run the shop are also very welcoming.

This is the best ice cream in Paris. Not only is the location fantastic, by canal St Martin, but the ice cream is original, 4 flavours changing every week, in unique flavours. It’s soft serve, and you can swirl two of the flavours together. The first time I went I swirled coffee with cardamom… I was hooked !! I went yesterday and they have mirabelle (the sweet plums in season right now) swirled with… ROSEMARY ! Sounds weird but it was incredible. I can’t wait to go again.

After seeing quite a few recommendations on this place, I had to visit this place. Conclusion: disappointed that it was all marketing. - Two soft ice cream machines offer four flavors. The texture was rather watery with ice crystals than creamy. I would not come back to pay the same price for this quality. - The "original" flavors were rather somehow disturbing than savory. - The concept of selling ice cream and wine would have been better if it was conceived to offer a pairing (as does the other famous ice cream shop). Here, it is more like another option for customers who do not want ice cream.

Delicious and tasty! They were out of strawberry! The hazelnut and the coffee did the job! Highly recommended

You need to try this place ! A new take on the Italian-style ice cream with an explosive combination of flavors. I love the concept, it is so delicious & refined, and made with local products. I will definitely come back :-)

Best soft serve ice cream I’ve had. The apricot and almond swirl was so good. Can’t wait to go back. Hidden gem on Rue de Lancry!

Soft serve was on point. Very creative flavors. The texture was perfect and portioning was great. Service was great too with very friendly staff ! Would definitely go again.
