IZAKAYA TEN (TOKYO DRINKING STYLE)

[내돈내산] I came here late at night, simply because I didn’t know where else to eat or what I was in the mood for. The food was a bit salty and overall quite average, nothing particularly memorable. But to be fair, food doesn’t feel like the main focus here. This is more of a place to drink beer, sit for a long time, and talk with friends. Not a place I’d come to for the food, but if you’re looking for somewhere casual to drink, talk, and kill time late at night, this place makes sense.

Packed with customers every night. This place offers japanese izakaya style cusine and other notable japanese food. I especially love their yakitori and their cold serving of beers. As this place is packed, you got to get use to the crowd and small spaces. Other than that, everything was good and had a pleasant dining experience.

Best izakaya in Saigon! Cozy Shinjuku vibe, smoky yakitori straight from charcoal, super-fresh sashimi, and cheesy takoyaki that explodes in your mouth. Matcha mochi = heaven. Will be back weekly!

The Mog Champ sends his regards. My last night in Vietnam and we checked out Izakaya Ten just outside Japan Town. The price is a little more expensive than your average Vietnamese restaurants here as I believe they cater a lot of foreigners and Japanese customers especially. Came back to Izakaya Ten after 3 years, and wow, still hits just right. The vibe’s still lively, the food still packed with flavor, and the memories came rushing back with every bite. Felt like I never left.

This cozy little izakaya is tucked away in a basement, giving it a hidden gem kind of vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for unwinding after work or catching up with friends. The food is delicious with a great variety, especially the grilled dishes and small plates. Everything is fresh and well-prepared. On top of that, the staff are super friendly and attentive, which really adds to the experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Izakaya style, good to have a quick drinks and catchup with friends/colleague to warm up. Savory food items. The portion is okay, the food quality is 90% of the price range. My visit was interrupted and not pleasant with customer who’re taking 30mins straight photos with flash, very disturbing. Suggest to set a signage to aware customers not to use flash or limited the usage during the dining. The restaurant should provide free of charge parking for bike as the parking lot (at Pizza hut) is 10k for each time. Value is low but unpleasant for customer experience.

It’s a good place to hang out after work. Lots of good food especially Japanese food. We loved the squid salad and pork grilled here and so many more No reservation in advanced needed but if you go with big group, a reservation is suggested Parking is not really convenience as this is crowded area, better to grab or bee
