Henry Moore Studios & Gardens

If you haven’t visited this place you must! It’s wonderful. The setting and the art is truly outstanding. The scale and elegance of the sculptures will take your breath away. Your tickets are good for a whole year so great value too. Friendly and informative staff. The place has a cafe and shop too.

Beautiful gardens. The tickets are valid for the year so you can always come back here. We got very lucky with the weather but super place for a date or a weekend getaway from London. Alot of amazing works there and the studio spaces are great. There are even sculpting activities for kids.

A tranquil spot in the Hertfordshire countryside, with a fascinating story about the sculptor and artist Henry Moore. Tickets are valid for a year of unlimited returns which is utilised is great value. The cafe offers hot drinks and cakes. There's a nice gift shop too. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Very nice area displaying some amazing bronze and stone conceptual art from one of if not the most noted sculptor of his generation. Set in 70 acres the exhibits are well distributed allowing for a wander amongst sheep and rolling countryside. A warm welcome from the meet and greet team, a good selection of food, cakes and snacks . Very relaxing experience , thoroughly recommended.

It is great day out. The park is not too bid. The sculptures are stunning and spread around. There is a little cafe. The staff is friendly. The ticket is giving option for a whole year free visits.

Fantastic exhibition, beautiful art sculptures and tapestries. It's a wonderful day out visiting Henry Moore's home and get insights into how his wonderful mind worked and the thinking behind the shapes and formations of his sculptures from natural materials and the mastering of his skills honed over the years. There's a lovely glass house cafe and picnic areas if you want to bring your own food and drink. It's accessible but they're very large grounds so be prepared to walk or explore!

The Henry Moore Studios is definitely in my top five places I have visited. I went on a Wednesday outside of school holidays. The grounds are serene and peaceful and the sculptures are simply beautiful. No photos can really do justice to the sculptures or the surroundings. The staff are excellent and ‘Will’ who I found in the Maquette Studio was a mine of information. I also visited Henry’s home ( £6 extra ). It’s an absolute treasure trove of art and a 70s/80s time capsule.The tour guide Ned was excellent with an in depth knowledge of nearly every object on display. The main entry fee gets you access for a whole year and I will definitely return to see the sculptures, maybe under as Autumn sky. The Cafe offered excellent value for money and the shop has some lovely items to buy. Overall a wonderful visit and highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful space with beautiful gardens and art. The space is so vast that it never feels crowded. Getting there without a car was somewhat tricky but not hard - a train from London Liverpool Station to St. Margaret’s (less than an hour) and then an 18 min Uber ride (there is a bus but it involves a 30 min walk, which for those with limited mobility is difficult, especially as the road is one lane only with no sidewalk). The one thing that could improve is the cafe - it has a very limited selection of savory items, so bring your own food for a picnic.
