"At Paradise Beach Hotel Restaurant on Villa Beach, about 15 minutes south of Kingstown, you can get a meal of local specialties like crab back, Creole chicken, grilled fish, and lobster straight from the holding tank, along with a picture-perfect view of Young Island. There’s live music and dancing several evenings a week, and the Friday night barbecue (called “Grillin’ with the Captain”) is an island tradition."

Did not stay here, but ate several times at their restaurant beside the sea. Food was great. Service a bit slow and hard to get their attention. But if you're not in a rush and want a nice meal overlooking the sunset, this is a great place for it.

I've stayed here on 2 separate occasions. Location is ideal. Service could be a lot better and a few minor upgrades could make it worth the price. It's not worth the price, in my opinion. Arbitrary rules and very overpriced but unappetitizing meals are to be expected. Below is my original review after my first stay: I usually stay at Sunset Shores next door but wanted to try a different hotel on my last visit. I had a deluxe ocean front room, which was by the pool overlooking the water. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable, and there was a couch in the corner. The room was big and spacious. I was on the ground floor, but next time, I would prefer to be one level above. The room was great, though right by the restaurant, so I was worried the noise of the kitchen and patrons would disturb my sleep. It could have, but it didn't, thanks to melatonin and my eye mask! Be mindful of that when you select rooms. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant has a decent variety. The food is okay but overpriced. While I ate most of my meals at the hotel, you are better off going to the boardwalk and having meals there. Service was good. Friendly staff. While the hotel is small, the rooms are great, though there was no kettle for tea, and the outlets/plugs are practically hidden. I would have also appreciated a brief tour of the hotel or some information about the amenities upon check-in (like hours for breakfast??). I enjoyed my stay, especially because of the location.

Don’t go to the restaurant! We sat for an hour and don’t even get to place an order while another table ordered ate & left. Walk down to the French Vernday- we did & got a table & a menu in 2 minutes!

This review is for a RESTAURANT ONLY experience!! I had dinner at the Paradise Beach Hotel restaurant very recently. The food was absolutely delicious (kudos to the chef). However, the service was very disappointing. The young woman who served us was not friendly, courteous or pleasant. Her appearance was unkempt and not a true representation of someone in the hospitality industry. There is a lot of training that has to be done especially being in this industry. Your employees are a reflection of your brand and locals and tourists should be provided a memorable experience throughout their entire stay or service.

We stayed at the hotel next door and come here for lunch. The food was great, very good service at more than reasonable price. The hotel also looks very taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

The workers need to be trained, as they lack hospitality and emotional intelligence. This hotel has the potential to become better due to the location but the service and work need drastic improvement

This is a no-frills hotel. The room was small, without a jug of water or kettle/tea. You have to pay an exorbitant price at the bar if you want water or tea. The beach is small with some black sand. The staff were impolite. Better not ask them anything. The best thing about my room was the view of the beautiful Young Island from the balcony, although a big almond tree blocked half my view. The Friday night BBQ was good. Not a place I would want to return to.

So as I was staying on Villa Beach, it was another wonderful warm evening and time to decide, where to go for dinner. My extensive homework was fed into my mental compass and it directed me to Paradise Hotel. It was Friday night and they have a feature called, “Grilling with the Captain”. This prompted me to communicate with them for a reservation. Getting there was easy, about a five minute walk on the boardwalk from my hotel, with the last bit on beach sand. When I arrived, you walk in directly to the restaurant area. The grilling aromas, mixed with that of the sea breeze, mixed with the music, the laughter and chatter of people was intoxicating. I got seated, had a beverage and got instantly disappointed. Why you may ask? It was because they sent me a picture of the grill menu, that contained lobster. It was the sole driving force for me to visit this restaurant. They said they did not have lobster today. The first thought that came to my mind was, is this a, Bait and Switch? Anyway, I opted for the fish which after inquiry, was told that it was mahi-mahi. I requested to speak with the grill master and it was not easy. The waitress had to get permission. even to take pictures I had to get permission. I made it clear that the fish should not be dry. It had to be moist and I did not mind if it was slightly raw. What came to my plate was a small portion, but a deliciously prepared concoction of grilled mahi mahi. It was moist. It was flavorful, with a complex garlic butter sauce. It was unique. Then you walk over to the table spread where service will give you the sides: parsley rice, superbly done, grilled vegetables, mainly fresh carrots and zucchini sliced at a long bias, not overdone, nice and crisp. Also spinach cakes, which were dry. In the sides department, the pièce de resistance was the vegan shepherd’s pie. The top potato covering was soft and creamy yet held its place with intense potato flavor. I have to say I don’t think I’ve had anything like this before. Then there was olive salad and tossed salad. Also few dessert offerings. Nothing to write home about. For the entertainment, there was a one man band that serenaded us right through the whole evening. It was a captivating and memorable dinner at the Paradise hotel, on Villa Beach in Saint Vincent.
