Pretty busy! I'm not a fan of crowded places, but it wasn't too bad here. Relatively short wait time for our orders to be taken. Refills came often and just a great meal and service!

This was my first time trying Buckeye Pho. I was really craving a Banh Mi sandwich. I asked the girl to give me some suggestions. She was SO sweet & helpful, even though they were were super busy. I got my stuff to go because the restaurant was pretty small & packed! Of course, it was on a Saturday....maybe the week isn't as crazy. I had to park in the parking lot in front of Micro Center since the parking lot in front of the restaurant was super small. I ordered 2 different Banh Mi sandwiches, one pork (cooked) & a cold cut Banh Mi (served cold). Since I got pork on my sandwiches, I went with chicken for my pho. The Pho broth was packed separately from the toppings to keep it fresh. My husband & I split everything. EVERYTHING was delicious! Highly recommend!

Super friendly service, and our food came out so fast!! We forgot to take a picture of our pho, because we dug in straight away. Great spot, the summer rolls were delicious and the bahn mi was out of this world. 10/10 would definitely visit again when we are back in Columbus! Thank you!!

What a great find for my drive back to Cincinnati. Delicious chicken pho!! Amazingly fast and friendly service. 3 TV’s and a clean restaurant. Glad that some of the jalapeños pieces on my vegetable plate were deseeded. Thank you! 🙂

Visited for the first time today and was not disappointed. The whole experience was great. Staff was friendly, speedy and efficient, with the food served being excellent. Not a single complaint from the whole experience. Too bad I don't get to the area very often since I'm closer to Dayton. Zero hesitation if I have the opportunity to eat here again.

Signature Pho was amazing, broth was very flavorful. Only bad thing there was two of us, and he only brought us one thing of side, vegetables have to pay for an extra. He wasn't that friendly either

I try not to leave “bad” reviews - our experience here was just average vs bad. The food was fresh but the pho had very little flavor. Our most liked item was the crab Rangoon and our least enjoyed were the vegetable egg rolls. The service was honestly our reason for posting a review. The staff were conspicuously “busy” - too busy to greet us when we approached the counter, too busy to ask if we wanted to place an order, too busy to thoroughly answer our questions (about which menu items contain MSG) and too busy to thank us for our $50 pho order. We visited on a Saturday afternoon towards the end of the lunch rush. The restaurant was busy but there was no line. We decided to take away as we were in between appointments. With the food just being average, there’s not much incentive to return. I do want to thank the gentleman who did tell us that any item containing soy sauce has MSG. Unfortunately the menu doesn’t list details in this granular fashion so we chose fried items and the bland soup. If you’re a huge pho fan, consider a different restaurant. If you’re looking for hot, fast casual Asian dishes, this is the right place. Just don’t expect smiles, courtesy or gratitude. 🤷‍♀️

One of my favorite noodle spots in Columbus! Perfect for a quick lunch. My go-to is rare steak pho and a grilled pork banh mi. That was my order today and it fully delivered, as always! I love the pho broth - it's really flavorful. The large size always has a ton of noodles and the steak was generous and tender. Banh mi is my favorite sandwich of all time. I love this version and the bread is perfection. I could eat 50 of them! Service was as friendly as ever. Good came out quickly and was fresh and hot. We love sitting at the bar top, too. 10/10, no notes. One day maybe I will try something else off the menu!

Friend of mine took me here last week, I tried their meat ball Pho and also their Spring Roll, their Spring roll is okay, nothing so special, I actually can make it better. lol For their meat ball pho, to me their soup is not strong enough, maybe need to it more msg, I dunno. lol Overall, 4 stars Will I go back? Probably not, I need a stronger soup base If I do go back, I will probably tried something else

By the reviews I assume this was a pretty good place. It was decent. Would I go again, sure if nothing else was open. Some reviews stated it wasn't flavored enough. I like to make my phó my own. They provide your basic bean sprout, lime wedges, siriracha, hoisin sauce and basil. That phó broth was so salty. It was difficult to eat. The meat portions were great and fresh. I also got an order of pork spring rolls. The service was quick and handled well. Inside had plenty of seating. Other people seemed to enjoy their banh mi. I go to Vietnamese restaurants for their phó. But this is a pass for me.

10 out of 10 Broth was hearty plenty there was plenty of meat.This was some of the best pho i've ever had.

This place is an institution. It's been around forever and serves pretty consistent quality food. The service is...efficient. They're not there to kowtow to your needs and sensiblities, but are polite enough and efficient. They're usually very accurate with your order and quick to bring out your food. Often when they get busy, they're a bit brusque though. The food this time (weekday afternoon) was a bit salty and lacked the meat quantity I remember, but the quality of the food was still fresh and hit the spot for our pho cravings. It's still a solid choice for those cold winter nights or a casual summer lunch.

The food was amazing! Best pho ga I have had in years. The staff was friendly and efficient, got the verbal order right and it was hit and fresh on time. Perfect experience. I liked the veggie summer rolls but thought the tofu could use a little more flavor. I will be back and bringing friends!!!

Live in Blacklick and ran errands all morning with my last appt Bethel Rd., so I thought I'd stop in for a bowl of hot-n-steamy pho. I ordered the shrimp pho...it was a 3 on a a scale of 10. In all fairness I have only have beef and chicken pho but I'm sure the broth at best should have had more depth of flavor. I added all of the veggies and most of the condiments on my table and still mid. It takes a lot for me to give a mediocre review. Maybe spend more time developing your broth would be my only suggestion.

I simply love Buckeye Pho, they do have great bowl of Pho. It's quick and easygoing. I have been coming here for years. They have some great Pho and freshly made egg rolls. Service is quick and reliable. The place gets very busy on weekend nights. Ambiance is casual

Not bad, got the cold cut banh mi and the portion size was a bit disappointing. It was pretty solid otherwise though. Vietnamese coffee portion also seemed small at first but turned out to be super concentrated so I was able to dilute it multiple times and ended up with an enjoyable amount.

I went for lunch with my two friends to Buckeye Pho. I really wasn't that hungry, but they were. I got two spring rolls with pork and shrimp. We also got fried egg rolls to share. Buckeye Pho is a small Vietnamese restaurant. The waiter was very fast and efficient at serving the whole dining room. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in my spring rolls. The rice paper was very stretchy like rubber. I understand it should be stretchy to hold everything, but it was difficult to bite into. Also the peanut sauce was very, very watered down, I couldn't taste any of the peanut. These are typically my favorite thing to get at a Vietnamese restaurant, but these were unfortunately a let down. The fried spring rolls were better because the duck sauce was more flavorful, the egg rolls them selves were very bland. I wouldn't recommend getting egg rolls from Buckeye Pho.

Oh my. This pho was tasty! I got a shrimp and pork summer roll for an appetizer and then a large combo pho. We came in on a Sunday for brunch with friends from Cincy. Def recommend calling in for a reso. We did wait about 10-15 mins for a table. Either way, staff was friendly and service was quick! Def recommend if you're in the area.

Food came quickly and portion sizes were generous, especially the amount of meat that came with the pho and the cold cut pork slice sandwich. The bread in the sandwich was also so delightfully crispy--definitely will come back for the sandwich! The flavor of the broth was light and decent, probably would rate it 9/10. I also enjoyed the rice noodle bowl. Good flavor and good proportion of veggies and meat to noodles. Lettuce wraps were yummy as well. Overall, enjoyed everything I had here and would come back!

I had only have pho a few times before moving to Ohio and was introduced to it by my Indian friends who had Asian friends from New York...so that part. But coming here, my friend likes pho and I like dim sum so we switch with trying new spots every once and awhile. This is a well known OSU student spot and I see why. Besides being ultra friendly, the prices are reasonable and we were able to get Salt & Pepper calamari, Tofu Sub Veggie Pho, and Vermice with Tofu for me all under $50 dollars! The fact that we only eat seafood mainly made me cautious with trying new spots, but they were accommodating with the menu items. The ambiance reads like an in and out spot with typical student fare so nothing special but it is doable. Will return again when in a pinch for the pho jones.

Had to stop in to Buckeye Pho for lunch. Exceptional food. Went with a nice hot bowl of won ton mein (with egg noodles) and a pair of shrimp and pork fresh rolls. Love the dipping sauce for the rolls. The won tons are full of flavor and they don't cheat on the filling. Fresh veggies, char siu pork, plenty of won tons and a tasty broth. The fresh rolls are wonderful and they can be a meal in itself. Service is always great and I love coming back for sit-down or take out.

My vermicelli was so good! I also was very impressed by the spring rolls; the mint blended so well with the shrimp and pork, then I dipped them into the yummy peanut sauce. The biggest surprise was delicious crème brûlée for dessert. Yum!

If your Vietnamese. Dont come here. Nothing about any of the dishes is Vietnamese. It's not even own by Vietnamese people. Please never use this place as an idea of what Vietnamese food is like. If I could give it 0 star I would.

This is our go to pho place. Food is always good, this time I decided to change it up and try the seafood noodle soup with egg noodles. Would def get again. It has scallops, squid, shrimp, and imitation crab

I grabbed a quick lunch here while on a road trip. The Pho was surprisingly good! The broth had a great balance of beefy and herbal flavors. I was in and out in no time, which was perfect for a quick bite.

Buckeye Pho is the best and has been for years-- the food is always consistently delicious and my friend who lives in Vietnam and has tried multiple pho places in NYC and LA even swears Buckeye is the best in the US!

Great, friendly and fast service! Foods came out quickly even on a busy night and tasted good and authentic. The salt and pepper calamari was delish as well as the shrimp and pork summer rolls for our apps. We got a couple of Jumbo Signature Beef Phó and they were huge bowls you better be hungry! The Grilled Pork and spring roll vermicelli was quite refreshing lots of veggies and really enjoyable,Cold cut pork and Grilled Beef Banh Mí were awesome. We finished our meal with Crème Brûlée. I'd eaten in this restaurant several other times and had a better experience than this was with carry-out. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Pork Summer Roll which didn't have much taste but the peanut sauce was good. He also ordered the Beef Stew with Rice Noodle. It did have a good flavor but it was watery and I'd call it a soup, not a stew. It didn't look like the photo at all, even when he added the noodles and sprouts. Also, a lot of the beef was just hunks of fat, not meat. One surprise was that it arrived lukewarm. Luckily we were home so we could re-heat it. My grilled pork with vermicelli was good and as I expected. The minced chicken lettuce wraps were very good - no surprises. It was ready on time and the service was efficient and polite.

Overall a great choice. The menu is slightly more expanded than you would typically find, and for being in a low-viet populated state, this impressed us. The food was decent and so was the decor. Our server was a witty fellow, and we enjoyed his service. I gave 4/5 stars because the bun thit nuong felt like they ran out of the typical grilled meat so they gave me marinated pork belly sliced meat instead...which was good but it certainly wasn't the same and was not grilled.

Everyone talks about Buckeye Pho as some of the best in town. I came with my sister on a Friday evening close to 7 and it wasn't busy until closer to 7:30/8! They food comes out fast and they try to get you in and out. There are a good number of tables but once it's full, ya gotta wait for a table. My sister had been here pre-COVID and told me she got to sit at the bar. It looks like the bar doesn't do seating anymore. We got the minced pork spring rolls. They came pretty fresh and hot! Delicious. I got a large rare steak pho with fried dough on the side. Yum! The broth is the star of the show. Really hot as well! Everything must've been on the stove already. My sister tried the grilled pork banh mi and that it was alright. I will add that the portion sizes are generous. The large size for pho lasted me 3 meals! Lots of noodles! And the prices are good too. I'm used to paying a lot more for pho. Staff was really nice! They try to be quick. They also package up your leftovers for you which was nice. As a note, they don't take American Express! I've had that same issue at another Vietnamese restaurant. Thankfully, I had another credit card with me. Parking isn't too bad until it gets full. The hot pot place is next door. But there's tons of parking nearby even if you don't park right in front of it. Overall, I'd come back and order for lunch!

Came in on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Server was so kind and very attentive. I order a chicken sub and it was delicious! I was in a rush but will definitely be back to try more soon!

Get the jumbo signature noodle soup pho and never look back. I can't comment on anything else at this place because the signature pho is just that good.

Always solid, and their fried rice is the best in Columbus. We usually get the pho; this time I asked for it with tofu and they happily accommodated. The space itself is nice and the service is friendly.

I would like to say Asian Cuisine happens to be a top favorite so everyone I knew had nothing but great things to say about Buckeye Pho! I was itching for spring rolls and ended up with a beef stew with rice noodles! This Vietnamese family owned restaurant was packed in its limited seating! So get here early if you want to dine in. This place is nestled in the plaza on Bethel Road next to the Taylor House and the bright sign was easy to find. I had my mask in tow and went to the door and a couple was ahead of me. There is sanitizer in sight and plenty space. I got to the counter and noticed the menu was amazing so it was a lot to choose from. But I knew I wanted the stew so I ordered it and I could wait 15min. for my meal! I chilled out in the car and went to get my order in 13 mins... and it was all ready!!! I gave them a tip for that and headed home. The food was hot and looked beautiful! Those spring rolls mimicked gems in their fresh beauty! My stew was so much I had to pour the broth in a mixing bowl. Regular bowls will not fit it all! Very subtle spice and you could choose how much! The best! Check them out!

I redownloaded Yelp just for this review. My family and I have been looking for some good Vietnamese subs. The subs here were perfect! The bread is big, not hard enough that it shreds your mouth but still get that crispy crunch. Vegetables were fresh and the meat was good. The pho noodles and broths were delicious unlike any before. Even after dinning in my stomach was full, my heart content and my family happy . The staff here worked fast and efficiently. Greeted us and treated us with a smile. Very kind people Definitely coming back

I ordered takeout for the first time from Buckeye Pho last week. I went for the banh mi, lettuce wraps, pho, and an avocado bubble smoothie. The pho was good considering I see this place as slightly more commercial than other pho restaurants. Lots of fixins' came with it, and I ordered it sans tripe or tendon. The remaining meats that came with were good, good cuts, and had the right flavor and texture. The broth wasn't bad at all, but could have been slightly more flavorful. I also always wish there was more broth and more noodles, but thats the case at most places for me. The banh mi was ok. It needed a little more sauce and had too much fish sauce in it for my liking. It also was a lot of bread compared to the contents-- could have used more toppings. The lettuce wraps were solid, standard lettuce wraps. The avocado smoothie was satisfying, albeit thick, of course. It would make a decent light lunch all on its own. If I were in a group of people who all wanted pho to go, this place would be a good option. I may also stop again for bubble tea if I am in the area.

This place delivered on taste big time! We ordered shrimp summer rolls and a couple pho bowls. Everything was delicious. Those summer rolls tho......dang!!!!!! So good. The pricing was very reasonable and I can't say enough about customer service. I went inside to place my order. The gal who took it was very sweet. I only waited for a few minutes and had to take a phone call outside. While I was on the call, a nice guy brought my food out instead of waiting for me to come back in. Food and service was above our expectations. Thank you!

It was good! I love all the options for my fishy pho peeps and my vegan pho folk:) service was quick and on point. This will be a great place to visit for Pho every time!

Hands down my favorite pho place in Columbus. My favorite is the bo kho with egg noodle the beef is so tender that the fat parts melt in your mouth which is just savory and good comfort food in my opinion. Broth is hearty and has a hint of lemon grass which i love. i recommend trying the egg rolls. Staff are awesome and friendly, this place is always packed.

Seeing all the positive reviews here, I'm sad to give this place 2 stars. I drove 25 minutes from work, very excited to try their pho only to find out I couldn't dine in. They only serve dine in on Fri-Sun. The service was quick and straightforward though. My food was ready in 5 mins. Given that I was only there for pickup, I couldn't say much about the ambience. The chairs were stacked but if it was a normal dine in day, I would say the place is pretty ordinary. I ordered the Jumbo pho with all the meats. To my dismay, by the time I got home, I realized Jumbo is just normal serving at other restaurants. The broth is also not that rich. I rarely finish an entire serving of pho but I was able to finish this one and I think I'll be hungry again soon. I wonder how small the regular serving is. In terms of flavor, there was nothing exceptional about it. I was missing that sticky, slimy, tendon but all I got were chunks of cartilage. There's also not a lot of noodle in there

This lovely establishment is one of our local faves, so it's only fair I finally leave them a review. I'm pretty picky about pho and man does this place know how to deliver. After coming back from Vietnam, I searched for years for something that could compare and found this place randomly. Do yourself a favor and order your pho with quay or fried dough sticks. Such a good way to soak up that amazing broth. Also, reward yourself with a delicious iced drip coffee and you'll be so grateful!

One of the best Pho restaurants in Columbus! The pho is savory and filling, perfect for a cool day or if you're feeling under the weather! The rare steak cooks perfectly in the boiling broth so it's not overdone. Just the right amount of noodles provided and all the usual toppings! I appreciate that they offer both small and large bowls of pho. I've dined in previously, but currently the restaurant is only open for dine in Friday- Sunday, so I had to take mine to go when I picked up lunch during the week. The pho traveled well and tasted just as good at home!

This is by far the best pho in the area! Always fresh, hot and extremely tasty. Only took 5 minutes for a carry out order. Yum!

Best Pho in the area. I have tried multiple other Pho spots in the greater Columbus area, and I'm always disappointed when they're not as good as Buckeye Pho. The service is amazing, the Pho comes out super fast, and the pho itself is SUPER flavorful. Order the raw steak pho, its the most popular dish and you won't regret it. (The steak cooks in the broth.) The place is always busy, which really speaks for itself! I even have a T-Shirt from Buckeye Pho (its really comfortable).

I love this place! Hands down best fried rice in town - chicken or shrimp. I usually get the Vermicelli & haven't found any in town that can compete. My husband loves the beef stew & orders it every time.

First time here and loved it. We walked in for lunch, were greeted immediately and shown to a table. We had great service, and oh my, the food was excellent. I will absolutely return. I had the Vermicelli with shrimp (V-8 on the menu). It is a big bowl of noodles, shrimp and veggies in broth. It was so good; tasty with an abundance of vegetables. Tip: Dine-only is on weekends right now.

Having tried pho all around the country and world, I was happy to stumble across buckeye pho during my time in Columbus. It's a mid sized fast paced restaurant that offers good service and good pho. I personally was pretty impressed by the pho here because of the flavorful broth, large portion size, and carefully curated assortment of meat. The one point that I personally felt detracted slightly from the experience was that h the broth has a little bit more of a sour tanginess to it. While not bad, not my personal preference for pho. Overall tho, one of the best pho places in Columbus and somewhere I'll definitely come back to!

I gave Buckeye Pho a try based off of a friend's recommendation and reviews on Yelp. This place is very clean and there is plenty of ventilation. The staff were very friendly and checked in with us multiple times while we were present. They all wore masks which helped make us feel at ease. The place is not very large but the tables are spaced adequately to allow for distancing. I had the pho ga (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) and my wife had the banh mi with chicken. My soup bowl was huge and was filled with very tasty broth, chicken, noodles and all of the ingredients which come with pho. A friend of mine joined us and also had the pho ga. They provide a dish with bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, basil and cilantro for the pho. My friend asked for an extra plate so we didn't have to split it. They provided the extra dish without charging us. The broth had a complex and very flavorful taste which worked well with the noodles and the hot jalapenos. You need to have good jalapenos with the soup! I managed to finish my bowl and noticed someone at a different table ordered the jumbo size. It looked big enough to feed two people! My wife commented that her sandwich was very good and recommended I try it. I will be back!

I've been a fan of Buckeye Pho for some time, and have enjoyed the friendly service and good food. Today we ordered a number of pho dishes as well as a pork roll. The pho was pretty average, but I was shocked to find undercooked pork in the rolls we ordered. While an occasional visit can be inconsistent and still be ok, food safety issues are very concerning and not acceptable. It is safe to say I won't return.

Sometimes you just need pho, and yesterday was one of those days. Unfortunately our typical spot for pho (Huong's) was closed by them time I got off work, but I just knew I wouldn't be satisfied until I had my pho craving satisfied. I checked Yelp for some spots and settled on Buckeye Pho. I ordered the large pho tai (rare steak) and was not disappointed. The carry out packaging is nice; all the noodles, meat, aromatics, and sauce in one container and then a separate container with the broth. I could not get over how delicious the broth smelled while I was assembling my bowl, and it tasted even better. I felt like the portion of meat and noodles was perfect and I was given a good amount of aromatics. I prefer my pho to be on the spicier side so next time I'll ask for additional sauce and jalapeños. Overall this was a good experience and a solid back up for when my og spot is closed lol.

It's was koo. Had pho ga, cream cheese wontons, shrimp and pork fresh summer rolls and the pork spring rolls. Food came out quickly, service was very polite. Only thing I didn't like was how runny the peanut sauce was. I like mine thick.
