L'Orient d'Or

This Chinese restaurant was recommended to us by a Chinese friend, and it was indeed a great address for Chinese food! Everything was tasty, even their stir fried noodle was so good. The duck roll portion could/should be shared, so big to finish on your own. In fact, it’s much better to go with a big group and order many different dishes and try together as how a family meal is eaten. Services were quick and friendly. Totally recommend!

As someone from Hunan who's been living in Europe for nine years, I can honestly say this is the most authentic Hunan food I've had in over a dozen countries here. The ingredients are super fresh, every dish has its own unique flavor, and the staff is really friendly. I also have to mention that the restroom is surprisingly clean, which isn't always the case in Chinese restaurants around Europe. All in all, I totally recommend this place to anyone craving some real Hunan cuisine.

This is an incredible authentic Chinese restaurant, besides the food is so delicious, the service is also excellent, we felt really well welcomed and served. They took care of our 10 month baby. Their are specialized in Hunan cuisine, the hometown of Mao, spicy and hot, but even the non-hot dishes are so good. By the way the price is really reasonable for this excellent level of quality. You must have a try and you will not regret!

Good traditional Chinese cuisine place. Variety of dishes and affordable price of 30-35€ per person with drinks. Interesting duck dish with sesame on top and Beijing-style sauce and crepes

Food was not good. The service was very nice and the restaurant was quite full. We didnt expect a michelin star food, but the minimum from a chinese restaurant. We actually got this place recommended by friends. Maybe we came at a wrong day. Saturday lunch. We ordered: - gyozas that were not crunchy, and with no meat inside, sauce was tasteless - duck pancake - we had to leave the whole plate cause it was not good in terms of taste, the sauce was very salty and too thick - crunchy chicken - it was ok cause it was fried. But the sauce was too sugary and you could taste more the sauce and the fried than the chicken - fried rice - it was good and its the only thing we would recommend reordering

Authentic Chinese food in Paris is so hard to find. L'orient d'or is one of the few in the city that serves proper Chinese dishes. Always consistent and delicious!

I've always loved Hunan food. It's Chinese but so much lighter and finer. The seasoning is delicate but so flavorful. The plates are refined and beautiful to see as well as to taste. The service is impeccable. The restaurant itself is very nice and cosy. You can come as a group or enjoy an intimate lunch/dinner.

Super friendly owners run this cozy restaurant, which fills up quickly during lunch hour. The Dong Po meat was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
