Cool place, solid selection. Unpretentious and unassuming, chill vibes, with great music playing while you shop. Prices were affordable and fair and I had some great pulls from the punk bin. I appreciated the dedicated Rockabilly bin. Staff were nice, attentive without being overbearing: sometimes just a nod or eye contact as someone walks in is enough to say “I see you, I work here, let me know if you need help. Like this place a lot and will come back next time I’m around Cambridge.

Most days, you’ll even find free records, tapes, or cool vintage odds and ends out front. It’s a vibe, a treasure hunt, and a conversation all in one place. Dig deep — it’s worth it.

My favorite record store nearby. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the store maintains a consistent great selection with even better prices! You would be foolish NOT to shop here.

The best record store in the Boston area by FAR. The selection is amazing, the prices are better than anywhere else, and the atmosphere is the best I’ve ever experienced in a record store. The owners are super chill and friendly and really make the place special. For Vinyl, CDs, Cassettes, and even 8 track tapes, there is no better place. If you haven’t been to Big Dig you need to go!!

Great CD selection, fair prices, good variety. Best indie section of any of the record stores I've hit so far. Will be back.

Very nice store … good selection of Indie / New Wave original records (Smiths from UK, The Cure on PVC, etc) … got also some 12”s … great selection of cassettes … Will need more time for next time

First trip here, most enjoyable, great music playing in the background, very good selection across multiple musical genres, dropped about $130, my bank manager might be calling me in 6-months!

A great place with a wide array of media! Was able to find a large selection of cassettes and vinyls to choose from, and was even able to get a decent in-store credit for some vinyl collections I didn’t need anymore. They were honest, helpful, laid back, and professional during my visit, and I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Great new-ish shop in North Cambridge. Nice vibe, good selection, great staff. Most certainly worth a visit.
