Starbucks

I loved this place, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious (though if you order dessert you might want to watch out for the sugar level), and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. I’d be happy to come back, also because I still have a voucher for a free drink haha!

The Asian guy and his staff are so nonchalant. I think he must be the “shopmanager” but he is not even professional like a Shopmanager needs to be. My problem was solved but a “hello” Or “have a good day” ? It’s not that hard to communicate right? I showed my student card for a discount and the cassier girl was looking at my card but didn’t give me the discount, also I told her that I have my cup and she didn’t give the discount there too. Also the hot chocolate milk is trash, you just using syrup inside instead of real chocolate? How are people working there if they are so disrespectful? Starbucks teach your staff that they need to communicate. Even OpenAI greets bro

A very nice Starbucks location located inside the train station. The vibe is very nice, I love the interior. The personnel is welcoming and helpful. There are 2 entrances, the one inside the train station has a stairs so is NOT(!!) accessible by wheelchair. You can enter via the entrance on the outside of the building. I visited on a Monday morning around 10.30am. It was quite busy already for a Monday.

This Starbucks outlet is pretty crowded I guess because of the people taking trains in the Antwerp train station. Interior looks nice and whenever I passed by there is always a long queue. I been wanting to try the Strawberry Acai since I never seen it before in other countries but always put off by the queue but finally decided to queue one day when the queue didn't seem long. Was kinda put off by the Middle Eastern cashier who kept talking to this group of Middle Eastern women trying to order drinks and was literally hogging the queue because they didn't seem to know what they wanted. After the order was completed he continued talking to them and kinda forgot about the rest of the customers in the queue. Queue was short but still a very long wait and finally I got to order my drink. Quite disappointed the drink didn't really taste good, I thought it would be fruity but it was quite diluted. I didn't know if it was supposed to taste like that I wanted to give a 2nd try but eventually decided not to. Customer service is pretty lacking in this branch and seems like not being able to handle the volume of customers.

My cappuccino was half empty with weird foam on it. I brought it to the attention of the barista who challenged me and said that’s how it is. She should not be working at Starbucks. My visit was on 9 March at 6 pm.

Blimey, I'm utterly disappointed with the Starbucks at Antwerp station - it's a right dump, if you ask me. The place is a mess, with tables that are stickier than a glue stick and a general air of grime. To make matters worse, some of the homeless folks seem to have taken over the chairs, snoozing away and disturbing some of the customers. It's a bit of a nightmare, to be honest. And don't even get me started on the coffee. The cup's never full, and if you ask them to top it up, it's like pulling teeth - all for the price you pay, it's a bit of a rip-off. The only bright spots were Gigi and Jim, who seemed to be doing their best amidst the chaos. Just a heads up that Jim is gentle and pays attention to your order. But the real kicker is when you order a large coffee in a mug - either you get a cracked one or they just don't bother bringing it out. It's a bit of a false economy. All in all, I'd give this Starbucks a wide berth - it's not worth the hassle. Updated review (7th December 2025) 🤩; Starbucks has been tweaking some incremental enhancements in its customer care and cleanliness. It has become a best spot for social snacking. I had an honest conversation related to my first review with the manager, Elisabeth, who reacted so positively and professionally. The staff makes your day bright and unforgettable. Super convenient location at the train station 🚉. Service is always on point and very friendly. Food is fresh and very tasty. Great variety of coffees, ice coffees and more.... Best location to meet and start your day in Antwerp

This is located inside the Antwerp train station and they have ample seating inside and outside. The service was quite fast despite the lines. We stayed outside and people watched and soaked in the atmosphere of the bustling area which was nice.

Consistency is key & we can always count on Starbucks to deliver a consistently decent cup of coffee. After trying our luck at a few local places & being sorely disappointed, we knew Starbucks would be the preferred choice going forward Tall lattes with an extra shot for me, the coffee is creamy & bitter from the extra shot just like I was expecting Lines were also consistent but they went quickly & everyone was in masks, & given this is right inside the train station, this place will get you caffeinated & back on your way in no time......perfect to jumpstart our sightseeing

Average starbucks location within the train station. Cleanliness is not a high priority, but there traffic is crazy here, so that may explain why. As for the service, it was so so on the multiple occasions I had visited, but the drinks were great as usual from the chain. Seating can be tricky though, they do have a lot of tables, but they fill up quickly. Also beware of baggage strewed all over from people heading to their train or just getting off. There was also a couple who hot robbed, but honestly it was their fault as they left an iPhone unattended on the table as they went and got their drink. All and all a decent location for a quick coffee, but a tad too busy for a relaxed sit down.

As a true Starbucks addict, I came here 4 times over the course of 10 days mainly because it was THAT time of the year when they serve my fave drink: a pumpkin spiced latte. This Starbucks is conveniently located in the beautiful train station of Antwerpen Centraal. Unfortunately this is where the positives stop. In these four visits they managed to serve me an incorrect drink every time, yes: every time! I ordered a venti iced pumpkin spiced latte with non-fat milk and no whipped cream: man, this seemed mission impossible for the staff. I received: - a PSL frappuccino (twice) - a warm PSL - a iced PSL with cream Not.the.same.thing!!! The only reason that I came back and gave three stars instead of two (although I would award 2.5 if possible) is that they were always apologetic and immediately gave me another drink. Oh and offcourse they have Pumpkin Spiced Latte which is also a huge plus (I live in a country where there is a Starbucks on every corner but for some mysterious reason they do not do PSL! WHY?) but Starbucks, honestly, look at the service of this branch!

It still amazes me how people find themselves in situations which they don't enjoy and invertible affecting other people. In Starbucks case it's customers. I know customers can be difficult sometimes but take the sting out of it, smile and deliver service with a smile. Our coffee is easy black no milk no sugar, water with coffee, and still you manage to get it wrong. Worst part when I ask nicely to get it done right I was given that no so impress look. Sorry team not so impressed with the service this morning

Stopped by before having to catch a train and got a coffee, a big cookie and also an Antwerpen Starbucks coffee mug for the collection. I ordered a caffee macchiato hazelnut, which they were advertising with a poster but was told that they were all out of the hazelnut stuff. Then get some more or take the poster down!! I ended up with a vanilla one, which was good but not what I wanted. Ah well. The coffee mug, which is a large one and one like all the other Starbucks sell, is really nice albeit cost 12 Euro. That, to me, is a lot of money for a coffee mug. There are a lot of good coffee shops in Antwerpen but for some reason Starbucks with their more expensive coffee is very popular. For me, its just a chance to support an American establishment that makes good coffee. When I'm in the USA though, I rarely hit a Starbucks.

Fantastic take-out coffees and muffins. Only 3 (?) Starbucks in the country so I gladly take a detour to pick up a chai latte and lemon& poppy seed muffin. Only thing: there's a killer queue every single time.
