Blimey, I'm utterly disappointed with the Starbucks at Antwerp station - it's a right dump, if you ask me. The place is a mess, with tables that are stickier than a glue stick and a general air of grime. To make matters worse, some of the homeless folks seem to have taken over the chairs, snoozing away and disturbing some of the customers. It's a bit of a nightmare, to be honest.
And don't even get me started on the coffee. The cup's never full, and if you ask them to top it up, it's like pulling teeth - all for the price you pay, it's a bit of a rip-off. The only bright spots were Gigi and Jim, who seemed to be doing their best amidst the chaos. Just a heads up that Jim is gentle and pays attention to your order.
But the real kicker is when you order a large coffee in a mug - either you get a cracked one or they just don't bother bringing it out. It's a bit of a false economy. All in all, I'd give this Starbucks a wide berth - it's not worth the hassle.

Starbucks has been tweaking some incremental enhancements in its customer care and cleanliness. It has become a best spot for social snacking.
I had an honest conversation related to my first review with the manager, Elisabeth, who reacted so positively and professionally. The staff makes your day bright and unforgettable.
Bear in mind, there are also people with their dreams, and good and bad days. Let's be kind towards each other.
