If you are with Chase Reserve choosing an Edit property, avoid this one! Despite the comfortable bed, beautiful historic building, and nice restaurant, our stay was pretty bad. We stayed for a January weekend when very few people were checked in and did not get the typical room upgrade or early check in/late check out. Attached is a picture of your terrace room view (mostly roof top and other guest’s balconies). But no biggy, wouldn’t normally give those things a second thought. What was a big deal was that our toilet didn’t work upon arrival, and instead of moving us or fixing it we had to use the lobby bathroom. The second strike was between 10pm-1:00am there were loud banging noises and yelling, as well as someone ON OUR TERRACE shining a flashlight in our room. I was frightened and too scared to leave the room. When I tried to call the front desk multiple times I got no answer. I explained what happened early in the morning to the woman at the front desk and said she’d make a note with security. It was so odd. It felt like a sketchy motel stay with upscale amenities. We had planned to stay a second night but checked out to stay at a nearby hotel, Las Palomas that was less than half the price and darling!
