The food served her was very tasty. Service and atmosphere was good. Antipasti were the Polenta chips, Calamari fritti and Piazza pizza all were awesome. For mains Cotoletta di Melanzana, Risotto Zucchine Gamberi and Mafalde Al Ragù di Manzo. This place is now one of my favourite Italian restaurants. Very hard to pick my most favourite dish as everything I tried was fantastic. Thank you Moretti.

We had a wonderful experience at Moretti Italian restaurant. Despite not having a reservation, the host went above and beyond to accommodate us and quickly found us a table. The service throughout the evening was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and professional. A truly welcoming atmosphere paired with great hospitality. The pastas are a must. Highly recommend!

Moretti in Leichhardt truly delivers one of the best dining experiences in Sydney hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Australia. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, lively, and authentically Italian. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and make you feel like you’ve just stepped into a family restaurant in Italy. The pizza was absolutely exceptional, wood-fired, with just the right balance of crispness and chew. Every bite was full of flavour, and you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. The Spritz was another highlight: refreshing, vibrant, and expertly balanced. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Yes, the prices are slightly higher than your average pizzeria, but the quality, flavour, and overall experience make it worth every cent. Moretti sets the bar high for Italian dining in Sydney. Highly recommended for anyone who loves genuine, high-quality Italian food and great vibes.

First time at this restaurant and love it so much. The food is amazing and the staffs are so nice and friendly! Even got a pizza and fettuccine takeaway :)

Nice food. Was hoping to see more Italian wines on the list... Good pizzas.. The mains seem rather overpriced. But the service is good.

Service staff are friendly, food is terrific. A good risotto and kids meals are well portioned. Modern ambience. Parking is ticketed on the street, free parking could be found a couple streets ahead near the park.

Excellent food and service, but quite noisy. The pizzas are fantastic, as are the salads. The carpaccio was perfect except for the white topping which wasn’t needed. Overall a great dining experience. Would highly recommend.

I came here for dinner before a show at the Teatro. The service is fast and courteous, the food is fabulous, everything is family-friendly… I like that it’s offering quality without the pretentiousness. Can’t ask for more.

Loud classic family restaurant great waiter very attentive and happy, pizza bevilacua brought back memories of Florence, mushrooms done in butter, garlic parsley recommend them pizza very Italian. .

DELICIOUS! This is a big beautiful restaurant with a relaxed feel, perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. Everything I ate was ridiculously good and my selected plates looked like this: Garlic bread (2 large pieces), 2 pieces of fried mozzarella pattys, moretti pasta with fettuccine (prawns and mushrooms to die for with a beautiful tomato cream sauce) and a pizza with salami and Italian sausage amongst some of the toppings. The crust on the pizza was heavenly and probably one of the best I've had to date.

This restaurant is my favourite in Leichhardt. It's the best Italian I've ever had - that wasn't cooked by my nonna. Gorgeous waitstaff, the decor is beautiful and the menu has enough variety so that everyone will be satisfied. The bruschetta pomodoro is an outstanding blend of classic Italian flavours and their wine list matches the food really well. The fresh homemade pastas are just delicious. My only pain point is that they're so popular you're rarely able to get a seat unless you've booked. It's not their fault, Ha-Ha, but it's my only downside lol.

Staff are rude. We were forced into a set menu but not advised of the extra 10% surcharge on the entire meal. If you order the set menu for a party remember to add 10% on EVERYTHING!! $643 for 4 pizza, 4 garlic bread pizza and a few bowl of salad and meatballs. Seafood pizza smelled rotten, it was so bad I had to leave the table. When paying we were advised that we were lucky they did not charge us for extra people that cancelled even though we advised them of the change. I was personally abused by the person that took our money. He told me I was at fault and that I knew about the surcharge. I wasn't the person who made the booking. This was not my first time at Moretti's but it will be my last. The personal attack was inexcusable. Avoid this place in groups of more than 11 people. In fact avoid this place all together!!!

Delicious food, cosy and lively vibes plus friendly wait staff. This place is definitely a local favourite as it's often quite busy. The antipasto board are top notch and prosciutto pizza too!!

My friend took me here cause this was his favorite Italian place. Well I can say, I understand why! From the beautiful wait staff, to the attentive staff and the epic homemade pasta. You will leave this place satisfied and as if you were part of a family while being there. I highly recommend the bruschetta, with its ripe tomatoes and crusty bread. Only thing that made me gave it a 4 out of 5 stars was the fact we didn't get offered dessert or to fix up the bill. But a very small slip in an amazing dining experience.

As Moretti's website says, the food is simple but flavourful. Crispy thin crust wood fired pizza - one of the best in Sydney. The gnocchi bolognese was delicious. Dessert was the stunning mille foglie rustico which was scrumptious. Even the simple starter, fresh bread dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, was moreish. The service was brisk, efficient and helpful (we now know how to pronounce the dessert!). Large bustling restaurant which obviously does well and thoroughly deserves to. Will be back to try more dishes and wine from the expansive menu. Can't wait!

My wife have this place a go for our date night. We ordered the lamb ragu and capricosa (spelling ?) pizza, both were great. I didn't find the service anything to write home about, but enjoyed the menu selection and flavours. We ordered one of the more affordable bottles of red wine on the menu and were quite impressed with that as well. We'll be back...

Nice decor/vibe, very spacious restaurant. Authentic Italian food which was beautiful. However, I felt that each savoury dish we ordered needed more flavour, so I was a tad disappointed but still enjoyed it. The tiramisu was huge and amazing!

A great place to go before a movie. Staff are very friendly, pizza was really good.. The prawn, tomato and zucchini pizza was nice, light and tasty.

Nice place. A bit noisey when busy. Staff is helpful and eager to please.
