9 Best Hotels in Aruba, From Adults-Only Resorts to Family-Friendly All-Inclusives

"The Hyatt Regency Aruba is home to one of the best pool areas on the island, with both a beachfront adults-only pool as well as a family pool, complete with a two-story water slide and swim-up bar—one of the few on the island. The hotel’s open-air lobby is complimented by the island’s signature, ever-present breeze and overlooks all 12 acres of the beachfront property. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better-manicured grounds, with bridges that traverse a freshwater lagoon stocked with koi, cascading waterfalls, and tropical birds. The hotel allows guests to reserve a palapa the day before, avoiding the pre-sunrise wake-up call that some neighboring resorts require. If relaxing by the water gets old, the Hyatt also offers a wide range of complimentary activities for guests, from aerial yoga to an aloe scrub-making experience. The rooms are clean and bright, most featuring pops of Caribbean-inspired decor and floor-to-ceiling windows." - Jacqueline Dole

"You won’t find a better pool than the one that awaits at this 357-room family-friendly resort situated on the powdery sands of Palm Beach. With cascading waterfalls, a swim-up bar and grill, two outdoor Jacuzzis, and a two-story waterslide, the 8,000-square-foot stunner is every kid’s dream. If more adult-centric diversions are on your wish list, the concierge can arrange catamaran-sailing excursions, deep-sea fishing trips, and snorkeling and scuba-diving expeditions off nearby shores, as well as spa treatments that utilize local ingredients like red mud, seaweed, and aloe vera. The resort’s 10 dining options provide plenty of atmosphere for winding down after a jam-packed day: sample seafood specialties like scallops a la plancha in a setting inspired by the island’s plantation ruins, or watch the sun set over the water, rum punch in hand, from your perfect perch at the pier bar."

Hyatt Offers Free COVID Testing at Mexico, Caribbean Hotels - AFAR

"Through May 31, 2021 this resort is offering complimentary on-site COVID-19 testing (PCR or rapid antigen) for up to two registered guests per room to help travelers meet the U.S. CDC's pretravel testing requirement of a negative test within 72 hours. Complimentary tests require a minimum length of stay that varies by property and additional on-property tests can be purchased. If a guest tests positive and must delay travel, participating properties generally allow extended stays of up to 14 additional nights at a travel-delay rate of up to 50% off the standard room rate and up to 30% off food and beverage (excluding alcohol). Complimentary testing is only available to guests traveling to the United States, and the company says it plans to expand testing availability across the Americas and globally." - Michelle Baran

I recently had my wedding at here at the Hyatt and it truly was the most magical time of my life. Every single detail from the whole week, not just the wedding day, was absolutely perfect. Service was amazing, each staff member was so friendly and were greeting us by name by the end of the trip. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, we almost never left the resort! The rooms were beautiful and had the most amazing views.||The water slide and daily bingo was the perfect mix of fun in the most relaxing environment.||A true 10/10 experience, definitely recommend

The Hyatt property was beautifully maintained, with carefully groomed gardens and very pleasant common areas. The staff were consistently courteous, kind, and welcoming. ||||Smoking in the common areas, particularly cigar smoking, should be more carefully monitored. Some guests were lacking in courtesy and consideration, and should have been redirected more readily by staff. ||||In some areas, the music was loud and percussive, and not conducive to rest and relaxation. I would suggest that Hyatt think more carefully about what sort of musical backdrop they have in their dining and lounge areas in particular. Driving dance music isn't always a pleasant accompaniment to a meal. ||||Though the property itself and the beachfront are beautiful, the nearby commercial areas are garish and loud in the evening, with bright lights and a great deal of noise. It's unfortunate that so-called development and a tacky casino culture have marred this lovely island.

The Hyatt Aruba resort spa and casino is my favorite place. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Best on the island. The staff is amazing and the Ruins for dinner is one of the best restaurants in Aruba. I go every year and will continue to stay at the Hyatt as long as they keep the beautiful grounds and great staff . I highly recommend this resort. It is situated in a perfect location to shopping and eating.

What makes this place so special is the attention to detail, personalized service, and the “welcome home” feeling you get when returning. Over the years, we have become friends and kept in contact with amazing people. It’s always a pleasure to go back and meet again in person. Fany, Willy, Beatriz, Glena, Debbie, Margarita and many more always make sure we start the day the best possible way, with a hug. We just left and can’t wait to return back; in fact my wife is already asking to book our next trip to Aruba, and she only wants to stay at the Hyatt Regency. This year Enrique, the new restaurant manager made a point to check in with guests every day, and I could see how proud he was of the relationship his team has created over the years.

My member level gave me a nice upgrade to ocean view room. Housekeeping had room done every morning by the time we got back from breakfast. Many complimentary activities including cooking with the chef, mixology class, wine tasting event.

The resort was absolutely stunning. The staff was always super helpful and kind from the check in desk to the cleaning crew. A special shout out to the bartenders! Danny and Raul were absolutely amazing. The best cocktails on the island. The Danny special needs to be added to the cocktail menu immediately!! when I come back to Aruba I will be coming back here.

We love Hyatt resorts everywhere we go. This one had outdated rooms and looked worn out. We started out in room 311. It was right above the outside bar and was so noisy that at 11:30 pm we had to go to the lobby and ask for a new room. We were moved to room 364 and it was nice and quiet. The next day we woke up to a soaked floor. The ac had overflowed. They took care of it asap. The staff was great. Very friendly. Food on the property was great. Just the hotel itself was a let down after staying at so many other Hyatt properties. Also, the pool chair situation is not good. We were at the pool to get chairs by 6:45am waiting for the 7am opening. The good chairs were always taken up and we were stuck in the back with no view. Beach chair prices were rediculous. We got spoiled by the Secrets resorts having great seating pool and beachside. Overall we always love Hyatt but probably wouldn’t stay at this property again
