What a place! Just returned from a 7 night stay. The tower has everything you could need, beginning with a small gift shop on the ground floor, single rooms on the first floor, double rooms and suites on the second floor, a communal dining room and large seating area on the third floor (with a comprehensive library of bird and wildlife books) and a wonderful 360 degree viewing platform up top. There are a lot of steps but all perfectly manageable. Dependable and free Wi-Fi. Each floor has filter water machines to fill up your bottles and ear plug dispensers if the jungle sounds bother you. Our second floor double room came with soap, shampoo and towels and was perfectly clean and comfortable. A torch and alarm clock is also provided. No air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which worked well. Laundry service takes one day and is very reasonably priced. From our window we regularly saw sloths, howler monkeys, tamarind monkeys, kinkajous, hummingbirds and toucans- bliss. A night drive just down the hill from the Tower saw anteaters and armadillos. The food is great and thanks to everyone for making special vegetarian meals for me. The Tower is a very special place with exceptional staff - highly recommended.
