One of the best brunches I have ever had! My boyfriend and I came to Lakehouse for Easter brunch and were not disappointed! The decor inside was upscale but still sea based, which was appreciated given the water view. The service was surprisingly good for such a busy holiday, which I also appreciated. Finally, the food and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious! The veggie panini changed my life! It was the perfect blend of pesto, goat cheese, and veggies. The belini was the best I have ever had. It had grapefruit juice in it and was a crowd favorite. I will definitely be returning!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary today at The Lakehouse. Everything was perfect beginning with the drinks/appetizers all the way through desert. We received excellent service from our server, Brian, and enjoyed some beautiful ambience eating outdoors. If I could give 6 stars, I would do it without hesitation. I am already looking forward to a return trip with our daughter and boyfriend. Thanks to all who made this a very memorable occasion.

I stopped by Lake House Restaurant in Bay Shore for a fresh seafood experience, and it did not disappoint. I came in craving clean, raw oysters and raw clams, and they were absolutely delightful—fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled. I enjoyed a dozen of each, savoring every bite, and finished my meal with a simple yet delicious garden salad drizzled with olive oil. It was the perfect way to round out such a fresh and satisfying meal. Even in the freezing cold of February, the atmosphere inside was warm, inviting, and elegant. The service was attentive, and the ambiance made the experience even better. I would definitely come back again!

The Lakehouse menu showcases a broad spectrum of superior culinary offerings. The time taken to place our orders was slightly extended due to the mouthwatering presentation and enticing flavors, which made choosing rather difficult. An exceptionally recommendable spot for a dinner date!

Had a birthday celebration here and had a great time. Food was great except for their evening special - wagyu. Overall it was a great experience. Our server was very patient with me since i needed to be careful about what to eat cause of pregnancy. Their halibut and venison entrees were really good. Lakehouse salad, smoked salmon, and calamari were good apps as well. Never miss out on the lakehouse cake - looks sweet but its not too sweet so give it a try.

Food and drinks were delicious, staff is so nice we had a great time. Water view was everything and indoors is nice for a romantic dinner or just a nice amazing dinner! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at The Lake House in Bayshore. The atmosphere was perfect, with a charming fireplace adding a romantic touch. For our appetizer, we enjoyed the Lightly Fried Calamari so fresh and delicious. My wife loved her Steamed Marinated East Coast Halibut, which was perfectly prepared. I had the Grilled Brined Double-Cut Berkshire Porkchop, tender and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, making great recommendations from the menu. We ended our meal with the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, creamy and delicious.

Too bad you can only give 5 stars cause this was an amazing experience for our first time visit. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here based on a Facebook recommendation and it was spot on. The wait staff is top shelf with 5 ⭐️ service. We practically had the place to ourselves the day after Thanksgiving. Too cold to enjoy the outside deck but needless to say we’ll be back in warmer weather. *Note seating on the deck is first come first serve basis but you can have a seat at the bar until it opens up during the busy summer months. We had the fireplace all to ourselves for an intimate anniversary dinner. The food was deelish from the burgers to the fish tacos were just delicious from the brunch menu. And don’t get me started on the calamari.. it literally melts in your mouth. The pistachio cake dessert along with the chocolate cake were mouth watering good. Highly recommend but bring extra cash cause all this goodness is gonna cost ya. But well worth it for a special occasion. Thank you for making our day so special.

Yelp
Fantastic! Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed entire dining experience. Ambience throughout is warm, welcoming, comfortable yet chic. Bar area well stocked with plenty of tap beet selections and wine choices, cocktails. Dining room seating choices include fireside and water views. Brian, our waiter, attentive, well informed about food choices. We were not rushed. And the FOOD! Spectacular. Tuna tartar, calamari yum. While unusual to be charged for bread, well, not your usual bread basket. Included sausage roll and herb crusted. Well accompanied the clam chowder. Venison, chicken, steaks & scallops. All ordered, shared and delicious. Thank you Brian and your talented, exemplar chef! Henry thoroughly enjoyed his birthday dessert (grateful he shared). Gelato and the pistachio "soufflé" delicious.

Yelp
Food was 10/10, my favorite was the fried oysters for appetizer. The crispy duck confit is my go to when I visit for lunch. It's served over a salad, perfectly balanced. Also honorable mention for appetizer the doughnuts are delicious not too dense cooked perfectly! Service was good. My favorite time to visit is for lunch during the warm months as I love to sit outside beautiful view of the water. I've sat inside probably twice but it's not the same. One of the best water views in the summer if you're looking for a nice place to eat.

Yelp
I would give 10 stars if I could. Great Atmosphere, Superb food, And most of all, a shout out to Orlan, for his Always exceptional, fantastic, friendly and professional service. We've been lucky enough to have Orlan as our server for years now, and he always greets us with a friendly smile and is sincerely happy to see us. And this time we went to Lake house to celebrate our 30th Anniversary! Now to the food: My Tuna entree: Exceptional. Wife's chicken entree; Exceptional. Soup Appetizer: Exceptional. Anniversary Cocktails: Exceptional. And then, to top it off, my favorite dessert of all, Affogato, and Lakehouse has the best ever. Thank you Orlan for helping to make our afternoon special, we always look forward to returning!!

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner celebrating a birthday. You know when you go to restaurant and order appetizers that are delicious, a meal that is fabulous and have more than one cocktail you definitely have to move onto dessert! The Pistachio cake was memorable the only complaint I would have is that the temperature was freezing when we first arrived but warm bread and cocktails took care of that

Yelp
The Lakehouse is our favorite spot for special occasions, and we even had our wedding here--it was absolutely perfect. From the food to the service to the stunning views, everything was beyond amazing. The team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. We're always happy at The Lakehouse!

Nyc T.

Yelp
Great View, But Everything Else Falls Short The view here is amazing -- easily the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the food and service don't match the setting. The scallops and salmon were just okay. The salmon was overcooked and bland, definitely wouldn't order it again. The cod was actually really good, though. Service was slow and disappointing. Every time I come here, the staff always seem unfriendly and have an attitude. They act like they are doing us a favor but yet deliver just ok food. The hostess was complaining about customers right next to our table. For the prices they charge, the food and service should be a lot better. I usually enjoy the service at most restaurants but this one stands out as consistently poor.

Yelp
A friend and I took advantage of the pre fix menu that is over at the end of May. Very good value for your money! The place is beautiful and has a strange mix of casual boat people and others who are dressed for the ambiance which isn't very casual. The service was great and the servers and bus staff were very attentive. I would definitely return!!

Yelp
Lakehouse is always a good choice. Especially in the summer sitting outside. Stopped in for a few apps and drinks. It was very quiet, nearly empty. Had good service and the food was good.

Yelp
Always a great experience!! Food and service were both top notch. No place on Long Island has better soups including their Little Neck chowder and the Scallop dish was outstanding as was the seafood pasta dish my wife enjoyed. Outstanding meal celebrating our anniversary and our return from Florida,

Frank S.

Yelp
My wife and I arrived around 1:00 pm for lunch. The place was pretty empty. Upon entering, the hostess showed us to our table. The eatery is well designed, with tables that are nicely appointed and well laid out. There are two gas fireplaces that add to the bright and airy atmosphere. The restaurant is very big and divided into two parts. It appears that both areas have lovely views of the water. The restaurant offers both a prix fixe lunch menu as well as a regular menu. We ordered fried calamari as appetizers. The calamari were prepared very differently than the ordinary fair. Very pleasing to the palate. I ordered the large lump crab cake, salad, and French fries. The fries are delicious! The crab cake is prepared on the spicy side. The salad was tasty. For dessert, I ordered the gelato. I really enjoyed the chocolate over the salted caramel. Overall, the meal was good. The Takeaways 1. The price to food ratio is okay. 2. Bread and butter is considered an appetizer and is charged as such. 3. Service is excellent. 4. Ambiance is beautiful. 5. Parking is limited. 6. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card use. 7. Reservations recommended for dinner. 8. Prix menu is very reasonable. 9. The calamari appetizer is enough for two. 10. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. I withheld a star because of the price of the meal. Please leave a 'like' if you find the review useful or you like the pictures.

Yelp
A great Easter brunch at the LakeHouse Restaurant in Bay Shore, NY. Relaxed and elegant vibe. Great food even if plating may be not innovative. Quality service - not rushed, but prompt and attentive. A nice view. Alex and I enjoyed this dining experience.

Yelp
Went to the LakeHouse for Easter brunch, the food was excellent, the service amazing and decor classy and comfortable. We had a group of 8, we started with cocktails that were very well done. The pastry and meat & cheese appetizers were very nice ( the blue cheese was to die for). Everyone raved about their main courses. The only glitch is there is no handicapped access to the outdoor park. I will go back when it's warmer and check that out again.

Yelp
The place is cute and located on the water. The weather was excellent, and we sat outside on the deck. It was my husband's birthday, so sitting outside and enjoying the view from the water was very romantic. The restaurant was busy, so I would recommend booking dinner in advance. The only downside of this place is that everything is stagnant. You are waiting forever to get drinks, and the time between appetizers ( once you finish) and the main course is 35-40 minutes. The waiter was friendly and accommodating, but the service was slow overall. That is why most places offer free bread on a table, so the wait time won't feel as dragged, but this restaurant is not the case. The food is simple but good. The tuna tartar was a good start. I got venison medium rare, and the parsnip puree with raspberry cabbage complemented the meat nicely. The husband got himself a fish with orzo, which was very nice. We also shared Brussels sprouts on a side, which is also recommended. For the desert, i chose Affogato My husband got creme brulee ( his favorite dessert ), and it was nice to put a candle to celebrate a special day. Overall, it is a solid place for a good dinner.

Yelp
A lovely spot to celebrate Valentine's Day. Beautiful place, delicious food, great service. Excellent espresso martini.

Yelp
Went with a few friends on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We were seated outdoors promptly, the indoor seating was pretty empty but the outdoor seating was pretty full. The weather was beautiful under the patio umbrellas and the view of the marina was the cherry on top. Service was great, host and waiters were quick and checked on us several times during our meal. I ordered the lobster roll and thought it was just okay. Took a bite of my husband's steak sandwich and we both thought it was the best we've ever had. For appetizers, we had fried calamari and oysters, both were fresh and delicious as well. Dinners are a little harder and making a reservation would be best but definitely come here for lunch, a quiet night out with a few friends or date night. Good food, good service, good vibes!

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view! Had the pleasure of dining here after my graduation and had a great time. Our servers were nice and had great menu suggestions. The smoked salmon & crispy potato appetizer was amazing! And the desserts were out of this world! We had the s'mores sundae and the triple chunk goey cookie, both of which were phenomenal!
google avatar

Maura T.

Yelp
The environment was enjoyable, the servers were on point, and the food was pretty good.

Brian R.

Yelp
Food was average. They charge for bread and the only view is from the deck area. We had the mussels, which were ok. I had venison which was very tough and not flavorful.

Yelp
A must visit! This restaurant has been a go to for me and having been here numerous times, I have always enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, last night was the first time I saw poor service and what it seems to be a few staff being absent. That said, this doesn't affect my review nor will it affect me returning here. Today, a manager called to personally apologize for the service last night which I thought was very nice. The food here is always delicious and the view with great company and wine makes it magical! Will return!

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal here with my family after I got back from an international work trip! Enjoyed clams as an appetizer Then did the lunch menu pairing Had a burger and soup! Amazing vegetable harvest soup.

Yelp
We wanted to enjoy lunch by the water, Most spots were closed when searching online. We stumbled upon this gem! Our server Ronny was very nice and serviceable. The oysters are out of this world, tasted fresh and the grilled oysters were phenomenal. Shrimp salad and steak and eggs were perfect options for lunch. The desserts we chose were the blueberry crumble and the donuts, THESE ARE A MUST GET, trust me you won't regret it.

Yelp
Finding this place was on a total whim. My husband and I wanted to go out and I was interested in this place. Let me tell you that this place is outstanding. There are two entrances. One for the bar area and the other for the back, which was kind of hidden if you don't n it where to go. Once we figured out where the host/hostess stand was we spoke to a hostess/manager immediately. They asked us if we had a reservation and once we said we didn't they checked to see if they had seating, and then a hostess immediately sat us. I don't remember the hosts name but he was amazing. He suggested us the tilefish for an entree. We were looking through the menu, and my husband was thinking of getting one thing, and once I suggested the veal he immediately wanted that. He asked our host how the veal should be cooked and he said medium rare. I got the tilefish and my husband got the veal. They were amazing! The drinks were great as well. We ended the night with their donuts and cheesecake. Both delicious. You definitely have to west business causal to go here. Not that it's upscale, it's just not your gym shorts and band shirt kind of place. A nice shirt and shorts/pants is a good thing to wear. Will definitely be coming back here again

Yelp
I was a little concerned at first because the lunch menu didn't have much that I liked. I ended up getting the calamari to start which was really incredible. I've never had it served that way and it was amazing. I had the chicken panini (without the cheese) and maaannnn that thannggg was good. Service was great. They were very attentive. I came on a rainy day so didn't get to enjoy much of the view but will def go back and be more adventurous with trying something new from the menu. As far as dessert. It was meehhh maybe I'll try the cheesecake next. I had the cookie which I wasn't impressed it . It was rock solid. The donuts were cool nothing really to write about it's what you would expect from mini cinnamon donuts. I'll def be returning though.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this spot and plan to go back sometime during the summer. The view is beautiful and relaxing and the vibes are super chill. The staff is very kind and helpful and seated us quickly. Our waiter, Kyle, was especially amazing and just brimming with energy! The menu is expansive and offers such delicious choices. We opted for the Lightly Fried Calamari and Truffled Mushroom Risotto for apps. The Calamari was delicious and fresh with a lemon honey aioli, which was yummy! I loved the Risotto and was tempted to order more. It was so creamy and flavorful and just perfect! We enjoyed the Long Island Duck Breast and Crispy Leg Confit and the Grilled Doublecut Berkshire Porkchop for entrees. The Duck was tender and the sauce was delicious. The pilaf it was served on was well done. The Porkchop was absolutely perfect! It was succulent and bursting with flavor and I enjoyed the polenta it was served on. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed the Rum Punch and St. Germain Old Fashioned cocktails and finished our dinner with three scoops of Sorbetto and the Pistachio Crunch Cake for dessert. The sorbetto was tart and really hit the spot but the Pistachio Crunch Cake was the winner for dessert. It was unlike anything we've had before and was the perfect blend of sweet and crunchy. Overall, this is a beautiful spot with delicious food and a great view. I recommend it for a lovely summer outing.

Yelp
The drinks were very good! Service was okay, we were a bigger table but it wasn't full in the restaurant either on a Sunday night. The view outside is great during sunset for photos, we went for a friend's birthday and reserved super last minute which they were very accommodating to. I ordered a steak which came with a side salad and thin fries. I thought the food was great, and the desert was pretty standard, I ended up trying the donuts with a friend which were also ok.

Yelp
Slow service, very loud piano music. Had reservation, had an awful table location. Ordered scallops and risotto - only scallops came. No risotto. Waiter never came around to ask how the meal was.

Yelp
Appetites primed by a 2 mile stroll at Bayard Cutting Arboretum, we headed to The Lakehouse for an early dinner. Arriving before our 5:30 reservations, we enjoyed a pre-meal drink parked overlooking the water on this warm November evening. We had a nice table with views of the canal and the bay. The room was filled with the pastel colors of sunset on a partly cloudy evening. Our server was pleasant and efficient, as was the entire waitstaff. Of course, Lisa E. struck up a pleasant conversation with a couple at a nearby table. We took advantage of one of the select $30 bottles, an easy drinking Spanish Rioja. Lisa ordered ala carte, I ordered from the LI Restaurant Week menu and neither of us were disappointed. My appetizer was the frisee lardon salad and it was a perfect starter. My entree was a grilled brined pork chop, perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. Loved the apple cranberry mostarda and maple bacon vinaigrette. Dessert was a ramekin filled with warn apple crumble, which was a little too sweet until I made certain to have some of the gelato with each spoonful. This is our third time dining here and so worth the drive from Nassau County. I Make it a day by visiting a nearby park, the waterfront or stroll the village and then enjoy a nice dining experience here.

Yelp
The hostess upon arriving was excellent. After that it was down hill. I asked for a dirty martini with a splash of dirty. NOT! Second drink came and it obviously was washed and I could taste dish detergent. I useto be a waitress and I don't believe tax on tips. I always pay cash. Will not go back. You seriously need better management with your clientele. Management click!

Yelp
Great spot but as a vegetarian to other vegetarians I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the food. I will caveat and say that all the other people in my party really enjoyed the meat and seafood items they ordered and therefore my review is specific to the vegetarian options. Ambiance: 5 stars! It's located on the water with very nice outdoor seating. It also has these beautiful big windows so it's great for the cold seasons as well. The night we went, there was thunderstorm and we were able to see lightening while we sat by the window. Service: Everyone there was very nice and fairly prompt. At the end of the night, it did get a bit slow, but overall I was very happy with the service. Food: They unfortunately don't have vegetarian options other than salad. They were kind enough to make me a vegetarian pasta but it was pretty basic and under seasoned. It was essentially a olive oil based "sauce" with pasta and vegetables. They do have a mushroom risotto on the menu but it's made with chicken broth and when I asked they weren't able to make it fresh with a vegetarian broth. I also ordered the herb frites, it's french fries. Dessert: I got the triple chunky gooey cookie. It was delicious! Looked more like a cake than a cookie but was still very happy with the dessert. Overall, as a vegetarian, you can go with the mindset that you're there for dessert, drinks, and the ambiance and you'll have a good time.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Outdoor dining is definitely the way to go here. Service was exceptional as well. Had the Herb Roasted Chicken and the Duck. But you must try the Pistachio Crunch cake. Words cannot describe it

Yelp
Impeccable from start to finish. I came here with family for Easter brunch. There are not enough words to say how much we all enjoyed our visit. Tyler was a great server. He was patient with our oldies that were hard of hearing. He was attentive without being annoying which is a tough balance! We started with the basket of patties and meat and cheese platter, they were both delicious! I had the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection, the eggs were poached and it came with a lovely side salad that was dressed with a yummy vinaigrette. It was the perfect amount of food. Other orders were, the eggs Benedict, the salmo, the duck all were great! The cocktail specials were really well done! We especially loved the blood orange martini that Tyler recommended. Coffee, cappuccino and dessert for all, were wonderful. We shared one of each! I wish I could pick one to recommend but they were all that good. Last words, yes it's on the pricey side but worth every penny. If you are a party up to 10 ask for the round table next to the fireplace. It is not on the lake but by the bay. Word to owners: we were disappointed my husband who is on a scooter could not get onto back patio. I hope you can remedy that by the time the nice weather comes so we can enjoy that beautiful patio. No establishment is accessible if you cannot enter without help. I would recommend putting automatic doors at entrance and rest rooms.

Yelp
The LakeHouse is the best steakhouse on Long Island that my boyfriend and I have tried so far. The bread basket is a great start, but sucks we have to pay for bread ugh I love bread so we always get it haha. We love love love the fried calamari, the best we've ever had! We both always order the filet mignon because it's just soooooo good! The service is impeccable, they are so attentive and so friendly. The crème brûlée is a good ending to our delicious meal and it's really good. We have no complaints. This is our go to date night steak dinner place!

Yelp
I held a "here cones the bride" brunch on Sunday and it was fantastic. The service started with my reservations. Christina was terrific. Then the excellent service and food followed. It was a pleasure and I would return. Thank you, All!

Bailey G.

Yelp
The food and environment at The LakeHouse was great. It was a nice and quiet restaurant with an amazing view of the water. The food and drinks were all delicious. Personally I thought the appetizers outshined the dinner. Some of the best calamari I have had and the oysters were great as well. I enjoyed the scallops, but preferred the steak that my friend got. Also got a lava cake for dessert, which was forgotten about but hot and delicious when it came out. Will definitely be coming back here!!

Yelp
Amazing service, great indoor and outdoor seating views. Highly recommend the scallops, pork chops and lakehouse black magic. Mussels were good, duck was okay. Definitely will be back to try other things!

Yelp
The Lake House is beautiful, both inside and out. We celebrated my mother in laws birthday there last night. Before we sat down for our reservation, we had a drink on the back patio, which overlooks the docks on the bay. We also had our dinner on the back patio, where we were able to watch the sunset. For starters, we had the mussels and the calamari. The calamari was delicious, it's prepared in a lightly coated lemon sauce, which was very good. The mussels were good from what the other at the table. For dinner, I had the burger which was very good. My fiancé had the cavatelli w pesto and shrimp. My father in law had the salmon and mother in law had the scallions. Everyone really enjoyed their dinners. The one issue we had, is that we made sure to call earlier that day to tell them we wanted a candle in the dessert for the birthday, and they forgot. While this isn't the end of the world, it was annoying bc they said they noted this with our reservation, and ruined the moment and the reason why we were there to celebrate. To help make this better, they did give us a free ice cream with the rest of the dessert we ordered. We had ordered the pastacchoi cake and the doughnuts, both were also very good.

Yelp
I went on a date here last night, sat outside and it was glorious! We had the tuna tartar - amazing presentation, with a delicious dip, followed by the cod and she had the scallops. From the hostesses to the wait staff, this place is a great find and if you're in the area, a must! They even poured me a new beer after mine spilled due to a wind gust.

Maria

Yelp
They have good food but service was slow. Nice ambiance overlooking the water . Nice unique menu

Thomas R.

Yelp
I took my wife there for Valentine's Day. The food and service were good. I would definitely go there again.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
Food was terrific. Good portion sizes. Service was almost great, had to flag down for water and would have ordered another drink if he came by more. The Icelandic cod was other worldly, just amazing. The halibut was a close second. Burger was huuuge and great flavor, but undercooked. Stringy fries were everything. Pork chop was cooked to perfection. Everything arrived super hot. It's pricey, but thankfully worth it overall. There's valet parking which is helpful as there's usually no spots since it's by the ferries. We sat outside as inside felt like a meat locker.
google avatar

Lisa E.

Yelp
Had just a spectacular dinner last night, perfect table by the outdoor patio which is not yet in full swing, providing an even clearer view of the incoming ferries and dusk. I am aware that folks love the Lakehouse, but it is important to note that this is not for just one or two special dishes prepared well..this is due to every dish arriving at your table in the best rendition possible. Beginning with the spectacular Farm Green Salad, a rendition of roasted beets, candied almonds, goat cheese in a robust Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Tossed with the most perfect gem(type) greens. The steak, risotto were equally perfect. I had the Lakehouse Butcher Blend Burger, stunningly rare with the most carefully sliced and placed lettuce, tomato & thin red onion & pickles. The blend of meat was incredible but what separated this burger from others was the sweet Hawaiian bread type of oversized bun..just amazing, highly recommended. In my opinion, the star of the show is the S'Mores Sundae..not for the lighthearted of sweet eaters, this is filled with a sweet, sweet marshmallow merengue and an incredibly decedent fudge. Apparently made with the same love and care that each dish is, easy to split with 3+ people as a few bites is more than enough. The Lakehouse offers not only waterfront eye candy, but an incredible menu executed with culinary skill and sincerely wonderful service.

Yelp
We had dinner on Easter. We were able to get a reservation the same day. We received excellent service. I'm giving it a 5 because of the inside and outside ambiance and because the food was so delicious. I was able to taste my family food lol. Everything tasted good and good size meals. They have inside and outside dining so you can view the water. It's good for groups and small parties. You will enjoy. Price $$

Ryan F.

Yelp
Good service but how do you run out of french toast during brunch and how can you not make more. Figure it out‍‍‍‍

Nicole G.

Yelp
We went to The LakeHouse for an early dinner. Staff were friendly and the views and drinks were great. The food was amazing! For entrées, we got the pork chop and venison. We will definitely be back.

Sabrina K.

Yelp
I typically love coming to Lakehouse as the food, views, and drinks are all great. However, my last dining experience was less than stellar due to the poor service we received by management. I made reservation for 4 and requested outside upon arrival, knowing there would be a wait. The group of 4 who came in after us was rude and said they "made a reservation for outside" (which isn't an option) and caused a scene. Fast forward 30 minutes, i go to check on the status of my table. I see my name is crossed out as well as the party as 4, who came after us, also crossed off. When I asked why it was noted we sat down, she said it was an accident. She proceeded to say the table after us was crossed off because "they chose to sit inside" When we asked management about this he told us "this never happened" and the hostess made a new list where it would appear as if we didn't get crossed off. We waited another 30 mins to sit, and you could sense our disappointed when we sat and saw the table of 4, who came after us and "chose to sit inside" enjoying their meal already. In addition, we were celebrating a birthday, and they forgot to bring a candle on the desert, which was a disappointment as well. Id like to give this place another try, but would hope management takes this into consideration as most of their guest like to dine outdoors. Guess you have to make a scene to get seated quicker.

Yelp
We dined at the bar for an early dinner. Our bartender could not have been more friendly. We shared an order of Calamari and a mushroom risotto. They were both delicious but the flavors and textures in the mushroom risotto were incredible. We split a burger, which they very nicely served on 2 platters and it was also delicious. A great spot for a comfort burger in a great atmosphere. We have been before and we will keep going back!

Yelp
Soup- clam chowder: flavorful but a little too salty 2/5 Filet mignon- tender and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes that came with it was also very good 5/5 Salmon- pretty good but not super special 4/5 Side- bacon Brussel sprouts - it was a good side to get 4/5 The waitress actually came to ask how our food was and when we expressed that the clam chowder was too salty she actually apologized and said she will tell the chef. It was very nice of her I didn't expect that and we did not tell her to just complain and she still went out of her way to come check on us after. Their service is amazing. They even gave us a free s'mores type dessert which was actually soooo bomb.

Yelp
Wanted to give The Lakehouse another try & decided to start off with cocktails at the bar (indoors). We were told by the hostess who seemed to have the personality of a piece of broccoli that the outdoor bar was not open. The weather was gorgeous & surprised their outdoor bar wasn't ready. The bartender was attentive bc we were the only people at the bar besides another couple. We chose to dine at Salt & Barrel instead of continuing our stay at The Lakehouse.
