BEAMS MEN SHIBUYA

Always liked Beams because they have a great selection of clothes. Unfortunately, this branch is just one that is worth avoiding because of the terrible staff attitude. They are quite condescending to foreigners and don’t even want to answer simple questions. In fact, they act like they don’t even want to be there to begin with. It’s better to take business elsewhere where customers are actually appreciated and welcomed.

Terrible attitude of the salesperson. I asked a stuff politely whether the short pants have a bigger size but he was just looking at his phone the whole time and impatiently said NO and didn’t bother to look at me. I can’t believe this is Japan. Would beams please train your staff?

Solid service from this location. Staff on the first floor were standoffish but the second floor were friendly. They had the Beams x Danton piece I was after when 3 other stores were sold out, so I scored a nice pickup before heading back to Canada.

An attendant on floor two, after I had already payed, suggested that I needed to scan the QR code on my receipt. He made it sound like a necessary step, which is why I initially thought that something went wrong with my order or payment. As it turned out, the code just led me to an evaluation form that I would need to fill out. In an unexpectedly forward way, the attendant then proceeded to click through the form on my phone (!) and gave himself all 5 stars and perfect scores, lol Since the form had 20 or so items and was like 9 pages long, this was a rather awkward situation and as I understood mid-way what was happening, I didn't want to make a scene and rip my phone out of his hand. Back home in Germany, I would have protested or complained to the manager, but I did not want to cause trouble for anyone here in Japan. Very wierd behaviour though, all things considered... Definately soured my otherwise great experience with Beams, which is why I decided to write this down

Lots of different brand selections are available! Inside was pretty big with two floors.

They sell more than just beams inside the store but I feel their product were limited, not enough variation. Cools store design which is elevated the shopping experience but overall still could over more products for their customers to choose time

Why are those young staff so rude? After trying on one piece tee shirt, they asked if I wanted to buy it?! I was thinking of taking another color. The experience is completely different from other beans store. Haiiih…

A staff who has a curl hairstyle was very friendly and perfect in English! Happy shopping and I’ll visit next travel
