Found this trying to find tacos del Carmen. Later in the evening it becomes empanadas del Carmen. I got the squash blossom one and it was so delicious - recommend getting it with both salsas and their agua of the day (the hibiscus one was incredible). You can tell they use great ingredients because it was the nicest cheese I’d had in all of my time in Mexico. It’s also just a fun vibe at the stall and the staff are super kind and friendly.

Super friendly ladies who didn’t mind our bad Spanish! The empanada Amarillo and memelas are so tasty, definitely the best we had in Oaxaca, Agua Fresca was tasty, can see why they were featured on Netflix!

Found this by accident whilst exploring Oaxaca city :). The ladies working are so friendly and work hard to give us the yummiest food! My favourite was the Quesadilla De Flor De Calabaza, simple yet delicious! In Sundays they have a more extensive menu. There isn’t a lot of seating so we went around the corner & sat on a bench, easy! It’s nice to get an easy street meal that’s also delicious and affordable😍. The Memelas were great too. They also have fresh agua frescas, the guava was yummy.

Good empanadas at slightly higher price. Featured on Netflix apparently. Spicest salsa was not spicy. I am a medium strength spice eater typically. Worth a stop, but if you have limited meals in Oaxaca I would try somewhere else.

Amazing food stall in Oaxaca! The empanadas are big and so tasty. They have simple ingredients but taste so good. Highly recommend! Sunday’s they have a more extensive menu you can order from.

The ladies work organized and with respective hygiene measures. The empanada amarilla was good but what tasted better was the quesadilla con chorizo and spacy sauce.

One of the best street food we had in Mexico. Empanadas and Quesadillas are AMAZING!! we tried multiple, salsa verde, salsa amarilla con pollo are highly suggested as well as the oaxaca cheese quesadillas.
