"A Great Way to Start the Day The main draw at this Australian-run spot is the convivial and bohemian atmosphere. Housed in a stunning 1920s colonial villa in a quiet part of the Old Quarter, the cafe has a rustic, warm vibe. While items from the simple menu can be hit or miss at other times of the day, the breakfast offerings are exemplary and the coffee is right on the money."

Best cafes and places to have coffee in Hanoi - SilverKris
"A cosy, airy eatery that doubles as a destination for comfort food, light bites and live music; it’s popular for lunch and lingering evenings. The staff includes graduates of KOTO and Hoa Sua hospitality-training programs for disadvantaged youth, lending the place a socially conscious ethos alongside its relaxed, musical vibe." - SilverKris
Best things to do in Hanoi, from hip to historical - SilverKris
"A three-floor, retro-furnished cafe and creative hub popular for late wholesome breakfasts and early dinners before a night out; the menu leans healthy and vegetarian with highlights such as vegan lasagne and tofu chips, and refreshing fruit-and-mint slushies (the pineapple-and-honey freeze is a favorite). The relaxed, arty vibe is amplified by regular live music and acoustic performances, making it a trendy spot for brunch or an evening meal." - James Wong
A Peaceful Oasis in the Old Quarter!
This restaurant is a hidden gem. It feels like a secluded oasis tucked away from the surrounding noise; you’d never guess you’re in the middle of the crowded Old Quarter. The menu is diverse with great international options, and it’s the perfect spot to retreat and enjoy some quiet time. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A perfect escape from the city heat and hustle!

Breakfast in our hotel was pretty terrible so we came to the Hanoi Social Club this morning. The food was excellent and so was the coffee! I had muesli and my wife had french toast. The setting is relatively quiet in the madness of the old quarter. We certainly recommend this place.

For a unique experience check this place out. Food, drink, music with a varied menu. I had Moroccan chicken with couscous. The home made ginger ale was flat and too sweet for me but they tried two more times to correct it. So big cheers for their service and willingness to please. The have a roof top garden music venue that is tight and cozy. I ate on a tiny little balcony with a great view of the alley and a triangle corner building —- 100k cover for the music.

After having a less experience in another restaurant in Hanoi we were sceptic about the vegetarian food and worried it might be bland again. It couldn’t be further from out expectations. What a delicious meals we’ve had here. We chose the Laks soup and salt & pepper tofu sandwich. It was just delicious! Also, the hot chocolate… 🤤 might be one of the best i’ve ever had.
Thanks for restoring our trust in the vietnamese cuisine!

Found this hidden gem once again on Instagram. Went here 3 days in a row for our Breakfast. Let me tell you, it will be on the best continental breakfasts you have here with great portion sizes. Their unique take on some of the dishes was just amazing. The owner was very sweet and so was the staff. This place has this hippy vibe which is so cool and I just can’t stop raving about this place. Must visit for anyone who is Hanoi and is looking for a great BF place

Nice place with quite good food or when you don’t feel like Viet food while traveling.
- chicken sandwich: was delicious and the chicken was moist
- nachos dip: not a fan at all, they put to much black beans and it’s still quite hard and they put layers of nachos under so you technically had mainly beans and nachos. But good flavor.
- sticky toffee pudding: though tastes really good (cinnamon-y) but it is not the authentic taste of the dish
