I thought the vibe of the cafe was really interesting with its modern decor. There were many people there with laptops, the wifi was super fast, and there were a lot of outlets available. We stayed here to do work for a few hours and were grateful for the strong wifi. The cafe itself was really popular and busy, though, and could get quite loud, with the music and people talking. It was nice that they had many different food options like overnight oats, tiramisu, egg sandwich, and croissant. I thought the food was also fairly expensive, though. The croissant was around $15 and I think I saw them bring the croissant out of a prepackaged box (not house baked). The cookie was $4 and was a little dense/dry. I might have had high expectations, considering everyone's overwhelmingly positive reviews. The foam in the matcha drop was delicious - I believe it had condensed milk and that was super tasty. After the foam was gone it was mostly matcha milk which was also good but I think the foam was the best part. The mocha was also good but not extraordinary.

I used to love this place especially their cream drop and went almost every other day. The last time i got it, it tasted very different and not good at all. There was only one person taking orders and making the drinks and she stopped in between making the drinks for my husband and i to take another person’s order and hastily finished making our drinks later. Dont know her name but she had a bit of red hair. We went back the next morning and informed about it to a guy who served us many times before. The girl who made our drinks was there too and asked if we remember who made our drinks. When i told it was her she said that’s weird. The guy just said sorry about that. Their drinks r pretty expensive and they never offered us a replacement for the really bad one they served the day before nor had a good attitude towards the complain. I referred them to many family n friends but not anymore. That was the last time we went. Very disappointing!

Whenever I need to do work, read or chill, I ALWAYS come to this cafe. It's so aesthetic and I love to ambiance. I've tried most things on the menu and they're all super delicious! This place deserves more hype because the staff are always very friendly and despite me sitting there for 4+ hours.

My favourite cafe at the moment. I have been to their other location and looked forward to their new location. The Vanilla Drop Latte is delicious! I love the atmosphere. I have been visiting often with friends and will definitely be back again soon.

I went here at morning and their cookies are good also I ordered Americano ☕️ coffee. I like the atmosphere but I preferred to have more options for pastry and cakes 🧁 maybe they would like to add more variety of different cakes or croissant 🥐 for instance

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE their coffee and matcha! I went in February and tried their hot cream drop and cold matcha drop and it was so amazing. They make each drink with such care to detail and it is such high quality. I don't usually go around the area but when I was finally in the area last week, I couldn't help myself but to grab a matcha drop to go! Haven't tried their cookies yet, but I've heard great things about it and would definitely try it next time I go!

Yelp
Newish spot in an interesting place across the street from Iranian Plaza, i took my stuff to go but looks like a spot people mostly study at. Their vanilla bean latte is pretty good, i liked the matcha cookie too You can tell it had sat out for a bit but for sure if you come earlier in the day they'll be fresher. They have a good selection of brewed coffee as well, and a fridge full of more stuff like bottled cold brew and tiramisu

Yelp
I've visited this place many times, and it's always crowded since many people come here to work or study. However, the male barista is often not very friendly, especially when it comes to making changes to your drink. I agree with other reviews that he tends to give off an uncomfortable attitude whenever you ask him a question. Most of the time, he just leaves the drink on the counter and walks away without informing you that it's yours.

Yelp
After much anticipation, I finally got to try the Matcha Drop from Coffee Lunar, and it did not disappoint! My experience started even before I took a sip - the cafe itself is beautiful, with a minimalist design that immediately catches the eye. I parked in a nearby neighborhood and enjoyed a short walk to the entrance, which only added to the charm of the visit on this beautiful sunny day. Inside, the space is quiet and welcoming, with plenty of seating for those who want to dine in, all bathed in natural light that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. As for the Matcha Drop, it was everything I hoped for. The matcha is robust yet free of bitterness, with an exceptionally smooth texture that's perfectly complemented by the creamy top. Not only does it taste amazing, but it's also incredibly aesthetic and pleasing to the eye, definitely Instagram-worthy. This is what I'd call an outstanding cup of matcha.

Yelp
At first glance, it's a pretty place with eye-catching drinks. But unfortunately, it was not my cup of tea (coffee?). The drinks were fairly expensive even for the area, but the coffee was mediocre. The shot was a bit sour for my taste. It was a very hot day and there was no AC. The doors were open, so the noise from the street as well as the loud music made it hard to hold a conversation. Service was mediocre -- the person seemed distracted and it was hard to ask questions over all the noise. Also, some of the seating is very uncomfortable (just like Korean IG-centred cafes) with low tables so that you feel like leaving quickly.

Yelp
Featured here: Vanilla drop latte, Matcha drop latte, Flat White. Drinks were made quickly and they tasted great. Good service overall! The drop lattes featured matcha / espresso, sweetened with a vanilla syrup and topped with a smooth cream. The matcha was topped with a lavender flower, the vanilla had golden sugar! Cute little coffee shop, if I lived in the area I would 100% come here for the vibes / get some work done . Reminds me of a few Korean coffee shop vibes!

Yelp
The matcha cream drop is one of the best in Toronto Aside from amazing coffee, the place is nicely renovated, great place to study and a lot of influencers come here to take photo. Top cafe in Toronto for sure. Owner is nice guy also. Always keeps the place clean, and maintains quality

Yelp
Coffee Lunar is a nice modern café in the north end of North York on Yonge Street. They serve high quality coffee and also have merch and other coffee merchandise for sale. DRINKS (5/5) It seems their signature drink series is called 'drop' which refers to a sweet cream cold foam on top of the preset drink options. We ordered the Cream Drop (americano) and Vanilla Drop Latte both regular size and cold. The sweet cream is really rich, has a thick body and mixes with the coffee really well without taking away from the integrity of the espresso. I'd recommend asking for less vanilla syrup if ordering the Vanilla Drop Latte. AMBIENCE (5/5) The café is quite minimal with grey plastered and brutalist inspired furnishings. There is not a whole lot of table seated options, however the entire perimeter of the store is lined with benches. Weekends are super busy and becomes a bit of a challenge to find a nice spot to set up if you want to do work or study. VALUE (4/5) The 'drop' drinks were on the pricier end considering the size, but the flavours and overall coffee experience makes it worth it. ACCESSIBILITY (2.5/5) Coffee Lunar is located right on Yonge Street so is accessible via a whole list of buses to/from Finch station. Parking in the area is more challenging with limited street parking on Patricia St or via the parking lot in front and behind the Katsuya/Daldongnae (although not supposed to). OVERALL (5/5) Coffee Lunar is a great café to have on rotation in the area with great drinks, nice modern ambience, and decent accessibility. Will be back to try more classic coffee options next time!

Yelp
Love this cafe! The service is okay, just don't rush, they need time to make such a great drink and worthy! The interior is modern and minimal, I ordered the Matcha Drop, and it was nothing short of delightful. The intricate balance of sweetness and matcha favour made each sip a true pleasure. Overall, my experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and I highly recommend stopping by for a visit!

Yelp
We ordered two drinks here and came to work in the cafe. The hot chocolate and the matcha drop were both tasty; we would definitely order them again or try something else on the menu when we return. We received the drinks soon after ordering and we were able to find seating easily. The interior of the cafe is very minimalist, and it has ample types of seating for doing work or just lounging and chatting. The overall vibe is great for either!

Yelp
This is the second store my dad saw article on singtao newspaper and we drove by before. Today we decided to check it out. The cold cream drop has a nice aroma and looked very nice. I ordered the lemon ginger rooibos, I find it too sour so nice time I will order another tea. It was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon. The cold brew concentrate was very nice and it came with a cloth bag. Great gift for friends and family when visiting!

Yelp
Super cute cafe - tried their flat white and matcha drop and both were really good. The matcha drop seemed to be one of their most popular drinks as everyone in the cafe seemed to have one :)

Yelp
Visited on: JAN 23, 2025. A Thursday, roughly at 1:30PM. Order: Vanilla Drop Latte, large size, milk substituted with lactose-free milk. $7.50 -- very reasonably priced. It tasted really nice, wasn't cheaply diluted with ice, and contained the perfect amount of sweet cream and espresso. You'll get your money's worth. They also have a small self-serve station of napkins, sugars, powders, etc. Along with the coffee, they also served a free cup of iced water on the side. Service: Great! I got to look over the menu with no pressure whatsoever, and the staff members were friendly. Seating: It was a little packed when I arrived, but that's to be expected at any store in the afternoon. I wouldn't worry about finding a seat, as they have a lot of spots, and half of the customers stay for 1-2 hours. Even if you can't find a table, you can still sit on one of the long stone seats. Ambiance: Cozy, despite the neutral colour scheme of the interior. Visually aesthetic in general. I appreciated the calm lo-fi songs they'd put on. Noise level was great, not suffocatingly silent nor overwhelmingly loud -- everyone was respectful of each other's space. This café seems to have built not only good atmosphere, but good community as well. Washroom: One of the best public washrooms I've ever used. A good study spot? Absolutely. It's the perfect quiet space for one to catch up on academic or work assignments. They've got outlets and free wifi. It was a really pleasant experience, I can see myself coming back to this establishment again.

Yelp
Great news! This coffee shop opens till late (9pm). Latte was delicious and latte art was amazing! Matcha cookie was delightful too. Other than cookies, they also serve tiramisu and basque cheesecake, which can be found in the fridge on the side. You'll have to pick up your coffee at the counter and bring the dirty dishes to the tray near the counter. Pretty much self-serve. The coffee shop was a bit stuffy on the day I visited. Probably because there were a lot of people and the AC wasn't strong enough. But overall a nice experience.

Yelp
Lovely cafe for girls hangout and will visit again for sure! Recommended by friend, the location is great and convenient. Tried their two drop series this time, love the cream drop with espresso. Rich taste with double layers you will have a different taste after you mix the cream and espresso!! Staffs are so friendly as well and will recommend how to have a better taste and experience of the drink. Definitely recommend

Yelp
As someone who enjoys vibrant, bustling cafes full of lively conversation, this place felt more like a library. The interior is indeed modern and minimal, but the small, non-ergonomic seating was quite uncomfortable. The service was rather lackluster; we had to wait for the staff to finish using her phone before she was ready to "work." We tried the Cream Drop and Matcha Drop, but neither stood out. They were just another variant of coffee and tea-based beverages, lacking any unique character. While technically well-made, there was nothing spectacular about them. Seeing the staff wipe the milk spout with her hand was another thing I wish I never witnessed. The muted and suppressed atmosphere of the interior full of people in noise cancelling earphones and headphones seemed to extend to the rest of the cafe experience. For those who seek a more lively and engaging cafe experience, this might not be the spot.

Yelp
I keep coming back here for the cream drop and sometimes a fresh cookie! A good spot to hang out and enjoy coffee with people
