"The “Magic Mountain”, as it’s often called, shows off plenty of skin in the warmer months as swimmers and sunbathers flock to the waters of its municipal pool. Built in 1929, refurbished for the 1955 Mediterranean Games and expanded for the 1992 Olympics, it attracts professional swimmers, divers and a parade of lithe bodies hoping to work on their tans. The music video for Kylie Minogue’s 2003 synth-pop hit “Slow” was filmed poolside, with the opening shot featuring a toned diver somersaulting into the still waters. It’s a popular spot so we can’t guarantee perfect calm – nor Kylie, for that matter."

Absolutely loved this gem of a place. Right across the road from the metro station and cable cart entrance. A metal door as the entrance - nothing over the top! The views were incredible. Pool was amazing. Such a nice place to chill after a day of sightseeing. We got lucky as it was pretty quiet when we got there. Changing rooms are basic, no lockers, treat it as though you’re at the beach. We didn’t get charged for sun beds, not sure if it was because of the time of day we arrived! After a dip we went to the restaurant at the top for a drink and to take in the view. It was just fabulous. You won’t be disappointed!

The reviews are totally spot on — this place is awesome for a relaxing day at the pool. It’s a great chance to hang out with a mix of locals and tourists, and the pool itself is clean with plenty of space to swim. Just a heads-up: it’s deep all the way around, no shallow end, so if you’re not a confident swimmer it’s best to stick to the edges and stand on the platform under the water. Fun little bonus: Kylie Minogue and Dua Lipa have both filmed music videos here, which made the visit feel a bit extra special!

Great spot to come and chill on a hot day. €7.80 entry which is okay. You can pay for sun beds but it’s first come first serve so usually just wait until people are leaving and take them. The concrete isn’t super comfortable to lay on but you’ll spend most of your time at the side of the pool. Limited shade so beware. You can take the funicular up from Parallel metro station. There’s a bar at the top which has great views and is pretty cheap called Salts. Overall a good way to spend a hot day in the city, just don’t expect comfort.

The fee is 7,55€ per person , 2,15 € is for sun bed . I arrived at 11:20 am and it was not busy . Washroom is not the best but it’s really relaxing and I loved swimming in the Olympic pools ! Views breathtaking.

Yelp
I went swimming here with my girlfriend because our hotel didn't have a pool. Paid €6,5 each. Took the metro and the little train op to the mountain. We arrived around 11 when it opened, so there were only a few people. You can rent a sunbed for only €1 for the entire day, but be quick there are only a few sunbeds. If you leave the pool you can ask for a receipt and come back later that day. Lifeguards are very friendly and helpful. The view over Barcelona is amazing and it's a nice experience to swim in a pool where the Olympic Games where once held in 1992. Too bad the diving pool next to the Olympic pool isn't open for the public.
