The Garret

Came on a Monday night around 6:30pm, and there was plenty of seating. You can make reservations in advance. My friend Shre chose this spot and it was quiet enough to hear each other without having to talk too loudly. Got the “Stanley Tucci was wrong” and was tipsy off drinking half. Solid drink if you’re a mezcal lover like me.

The Garrett is one of my favorite hidden spots in the city—tucked above a Five Guys, it’s the perfect blend of mystery and charm. Great ambiance, creative drinks, and that “if you know, you know” kind of cool. Always a good time!

This speakeasy/bar is a cool spot hidden at the back of a Five Guys. If it weren't for my friend, I would've never known about it. It's not the biggest place, but there are booth and tables for you to chill with friends. Their drinks are pretty solid (my friend and I got their 3AM in K-town and Strawberry Fields (NA)). I also heard that you can order Five Guys and bring it up to this bar?? If that's the case, I'll be sure to do that next time I'm here!

Good drinks, good service, nothing to complain about. Based on the photos in the menu is what it is to be expected. Music not too loud. Good for conversations. Fun spot.

Stopped in to check this cool little speakeasy out. Once you get upstairs order a Jon Wick Experience and enjoy!

This place used to be cool but on a Tuesday night they refused my 72yr old mother entry at 6:30pm because she didn’t have her passport, and she’s disabled so she just needed a place to sit for a bit but instead we had to keep walking in the cold. Also, it was very uncomfortable because the bouncer was watching a sexy dancer on his phone in front of us. Not a great place for women or foreigners - unsafe staff. It didn’t used to be this way, so it’s sad to see a fun place go downhill like this.

We came in as a big group and the bartenders were very quick to serve all of our drinks. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the option variety. They were also able to make us shots outside of the menu which was very appreciated.

Fun spot. Bustling. Good beers on tap. Creative & tasty cocktails. Everyone working there was cool... including the sweet guy checking IDs at the bottom of the stairs, fabulous host at the top, and professionals behind the bar. I bet they have a great holiday party.
